This resort might be better than the Maldives in the winter as it has virtually no rain. However, in August the average high in Umm Lajj is 97°F. Maybe the reason that there are nearly no guests in this video is that it was recorded in August?
I thought this was a very peaceful and beautiful place. I did find it a little odd that in the most expensive hotel in the Middle East one still is charged for drinks and snacks.
Saudi is a dusty dirty country and a lot of area under developed and it is a big country lot of travel time with no helicopter option cannot comparable with Dubai UAE is now the cleanest most safest country in the world and lot of white women there i hope to marry white women i am coming to UAE

Both resorts have these. To the best of my knowledge, When I was there and saw it, it seemed to be a decorative covering for the cell phone towers to match the resorts Arabian vibe.

Normally, the transfer from the airport is by car + speedboat, and the transfer fee for the car + speedboat is included. This seaplane transfer is an upgrade from the speedboat, and an additional fee is required for the upgrade.
We’ve seen several of your videos now, and we would really appreciate you turning the water off after showing the flow. Wasting water is always bad, but especially in a desert.
If you are looking for very expensive relaxation it is fine. If you are looking for the experience and joy that a foreign trip would entail than look for other destinations I.e Europe

After staying in the sun or having dinner in the moonlight what else can you do to equate the experience that you get by visiting museums, theaters, event, galleries, shops, different restaurants etc. As I said the resort is fine if you want just to relax. Does anyone know of any videos of this resort or the nearby St Regis where they show the Red Sea marine life? This video is very detailed (yes the resort has Truffle Hunter Crisps) but a video about a resort in the Red Sea Project would benefit from showing more than just the surface of the Red Sea. I don't blame the videographer. It seems that the resort does not make it easy to see Red Sea marine life.

This resort's competition has snorkeling right off the beach. You don't have to schedule anything. The resort should REALLY consider building an artificial reef VERY close that guests can swim to by themselves. There is gorgeous marine life in the Red Sea but you wouldn't know it from this hour long video where no one got in the water deeper than their ankle. Bottom line: World class design and beautiful blue water but a far below average beach 42:24 and fish the size of insects. 13:43 They can do better. Hopefully they are working on it.
Saudi Arabia isn’t for any one if you are the kind that put “tattoos” in his body to “express him self” and wear beach t shirt and try to being intimidating with gravelly voice to locals while drinking beer to act tough won’t work here that more of the theme of Thailand or Philippines
This looks amazing on paper and reasonably maintained.. However, the restrictions are way too big and even such a airy place feels suffocating because of religious restrictions. Saudis are great people, but feel sorry for them because by just going through rules for various amenities are way too stricter than Europe/Asia/SA Asia/India.
Thank you sir for another wonderful resort video. I really thought the 3 bedroom beach villa was wonderful and much nicer than your ocean villa. $3100 U.S./night? That seems a bit expensive for the villa alone. Not only were non-alcoholic drinks an upcaharge but I didn't even see basics like Coca-cola. I wonder if the tap water was drinkable? The food prices seemed reasonable. Easy to convert prices at 26% of SAR pricing, but roughly $12.50 for a coffee seems a bit much. I noticed that they didn't offer "filtered coffee" and having no alcohol means they are not going for the American/European tourist. This place will never be profitable if they don't focus on their customer's needs. I have a small request of you. Could you add to your videos some information on tipping? Is it included in the price. Do you tip for meals. Do you tip for buggy/transit service at the resort? Again, my appreciation for all the time taken to film, edit, and add those subtitles.

@@luxurytravelmaster Thank you for responding to my question. Here in Canada we leave a tip for the person cleaning the hotel room, taxi driver, boat driver, etc... I know in much of Europe a service charge (tip) is added to your bill. Personally, I always take a box of chocolates for the flight crew and thank them for taking care of us.

It looks beautiful but two things would prevent me from booking there is the hanging toilets and I wouldn’t feel safe in those waters (sharks)
