I came across a lot of different dhal recipes and mostly the dhal is cooked plain in water and some spices or like in your case with more ingredients. But I was always wondering why you’re not frying the onions and spices before cooking (and still add the temper on top). Also, I really like your recipes and way to cook but would totally appreciate more translations to understand all of your comments 😊
