Which one would you take home, the Everest or the Terra?🤔
Everest
Terra here
The one that will give me the least amount of headache in the long run.
Everest
Everest right off the bat. After watching the comparo; still the everest.
My favorite TH-cam Automobile reviewer. Subscribed!
I owned a suzuki multicab for my small business, it's not comfortable to drive but it's very reliable. Watching this video keeps me going and sana maka bili ako neto. 🙏
Same bro. Hope we make it❤
I am Malaysian and I truly enjoy your reviews❤
Maybe you guys could try scoring them in a scale of 1-5 or 1-10 then comparing the total? bec some aspects/features are closer than others. Thank you! still the best car review channel in ph
OMG! Finally!!! A comparo of the two
Nice comparo once again! I enjoy all of your reviews and the way you present it, always make for a great content! Thanks Sir Caco and Jack, and to the Autodeal team! God Bless always!!!
Very informative review for consumers who wants to pick between the two. Thank you for this content video!
This is the most awaited comparison!!!!
I love your content as always specially with terra and everest. This both cars are our choices for our next car after owning a everest 3rd gen. I love the driving experience of everest specially im hype how tough the body is
for me terra is the best, I travelled from Manila to Leyte vice versa 101%tested 😁✌️👏👏
You’re the Man Boss👍👍
Now we have two choices! Though I really like the Everest more, inside and out. Thanks sir Caco!
2:13 BTW those Osim massage chairs look gorgeous, looking forward to purchasing 'em soon
I prefer the Terra, as ride comfort and a reliable transmission are important to me. I have doubts on the reliability of the 10-Speed transmission of the Everest. The Ford may have more HP and Torque, I'd rather go with a better fuel economy with the Nissan. Besides, with all the traffic in the country, what use is all that power (unless you go around driving early in the morning or super late at night).
had my terra for a year now 4X2 VL sports. my family loves it ❤
hi sir, would like to know about the reliability of both vehicles. I've been hearing a lot of issues with Ford so I'd appreciate your input on this. thank you!
Love the banter btw.
Terra for me and love the Osim chair looks beautiful!!!
I drove everest next gen isabela to legazpi city balikan. Amazing experience..
Nice comparo 👌
Nice review. More power.
Does the Terra have memory seats? Or the new Everest? Their is a big difference between my wife and myself.
I so love the reviews.
I would like to join sana the Autodeal team in any capacity, kahit driver lang ni Sir kako!
How do I reach out? :)
Sir Caco, please review the Jetour Dashing.
Hi Sir, I am a fan of yours. Pwede po ba magrequest comparo bout liteace FX Toyota vs Suzuki Carry. Thank you God bless and more power!
Love your reviews👍😅
Please make a review of the baseline units as well Caco. We need to know their pros and cons too.
Go for Terra 👍 OSIM best massage chair ever! It allows us completely relax and improve stress really love it!
I love the Terra especially the interior and overall looks
The things that I like the Terra based on my ownership are the timing chain engine, the comfortable ride, and awesome cabin space. And I prefer the pre-facelift exterior because the facelifted one does not look macho anymore.
@@BrandoBandit💯% agreed. We have the 2019 model aspen white and it is really a macho looking car.
Bro is informative and can be a stand up comedian as well 😂 Great job!!
Very good comparo @Autodeal.
For me personally, I'd go with Everest. Looks, Tech and Power you can never go wrong. It almost looks like a full size SUV. Hahaha
Can't wait to compare it with Fortuner and Monterosport. (Behind the Wheel) Make it happen please @Autodeal 🙏🏻
I’m so much contented with my defender. 😍
Hi...I'm Indonesian, likes your reviews and the way comparo you did Sir. I was looking information before making decision. Thumbs up, Sir Caco, Jack and team. You have subscriber here🎉😊
What did end up buying sir?
Ford Everest, any day of the week and twice on sunday!
I bought my ford everest coz of this guy… Trust me, his the guy to trust when it comes to this…
6 months terra owner. The best ride ever. Comfort, maluwag, di matagtag, matipid sa gas, malamig aircon.
Pangit ng design compare to Ford
how's the resale value? for the Everest Trend specifically.
Thank you autodeal fam for this comparo! Me and my dad were wondering which car to get, and this video really helped us decide to go for the Everest! 😄
but everest does have small engine and yet powerful coz they put a 2 turbo. imagine a small engine they force to more power how long it would last? in fact 2 turbos much expensive than 1 turbo for maintenance
@@buffalosoldier3814 Agree. That Bi turbo on a 2.0 displacement is just too much for a small engine to bear, like being on steroids, eventually it will stall. Id go for the Japanese one.
@@jhunakoo I think you're smarter than the engineers who built those engines in the Everest. Can you back it up with facts so that it's really believable?
Dizziness ride coming to you.
@@BrandoBandit most in a company now us viewing in quantity over quality
Everest exterior just looks so classy, every proportion done just right 👍
Everest looks honestly too much. And anything too much wont age well.
@@gregtudanca. wdym by too much?
Agree with that.. it jus looks premium
American trucks look ang Everest bulky and masculine.
@@BokiTVbulky + boxy is the best combo for my taste, i dont like suv that looks slick or rounded
👌👌👌 Pure video, No Ads #PureTuber ❤️❤️
before the video finishes, i am already choosing the Ford !
agree with this one on top of the line 4x4. but for top of the line 4x2 terra VL vs everest titanium, it’s a different story. Terra VL 4x2 is fully loaded with ADAS and safety features which everest doesn’t have. plus terra is 150K cheaper.
so…
Everest 4x4 > Terra VL 4x4
Terra VL 4x2 > Everest titanium 4x2
Could you guys please do Volkswagen Beetle Club vs Mini Cooper S? I'm trying to look for a small and compatible small car to drive around the country with my dogs and niece?
14:13 - to add: the Terra’s 2nd row can also be moved forward and back despite its ability to completely tumble out of the way
I dreamed of getting a terra but I ended up in a 4x4 Everest. the tech is so ahead with the competition.
BTW. How did you get 10km\l on a city drive? I average 6-8km\l even with high speed run and a bit of traffic.
thank you for a great comparo!!!!
How is the maintenance of everest ? Upon checking its pricey. How is your experience?
@@kuysalyaintenance is once a year compared to the twice year of nissan and the cost is the same as every other brands. I have the navara VL and the next gen everest
@@kuysalyI haven't had my 1st PMS yet but the range for every 10K KM or 1 year is about 13-15k pesos all-in-all as per service advisor.
@@ErnestMarvinEstebanAwesome. True everest once a year. Other Japs car tiwce year
Maybe you get the v6 engine?
Everest, my next ride definitevely!
Have you tried Global Dominion Financing Inc. for car financing?
I somehow never finish a 20min vlog on every channel but here I finished it from the start till the end. I owned a latter part of everest, 2016 to be exact and until now I am very satisfied of its ride. I agree also on what you said that elegance lasts longer since I do setup my eve as rugged/sporty look and somehow slowly regretting it. Haha! I respect to all cars in which I love all cars no matter what brand it is. Good job on comparo sir, btw new subscriber here and I admire your english skills wish I have that one! More videos to come!
Both are my favorite SUV
I'm surprised you didn't mention the ADAS features in your comparo. This alone would make me choose the Everest over the Terra. I think the technology of the Everest more than justifies the price difference.
I can confirmed that my Everest ADAS works better than my Volvo C40 especially in recognising fading white line. The brake assist works smoothly compare to Volvo which the braking almost make me had a heart attack.
If you still need ADAS to drive, you should be taking driving lessons as well. Else, you don't even deserve to be on the road.
Terra also have ADAS. The full spec is even available even in the 4x2 VL variant which is not available in titanium 4x2
@jaguarpw But agree with this one that 4x4 titanium is better than 4x4 VL, how ever different story in 4x2 variants because of the ADAS plus the price difference. The forward collision warning and the automatic emergency braking assist is even a standard in all variants except the manual transmission po. :)
Everest has one more point ahead since you counted 1point for Tera for the ride comfort but not a point for the Everest 's tech feature
Everest owner here totally satisfied
Terra sport in bright red makes me forget about every other SUV in this segment
amazing father and son God bless great review Amazing!!!
Love the design of Nissan Terra...just my preference...
Everest for me ❤, OSIM Chair so nice too!
I'll go for the TERRA for its comfortable driving and it's reliability. I have the terra 2022 model
I love the design of Nissan Terra
Terra the way because it's reliable and dependable 👌🔥
I have been waiting for Terra to have the powered tailgate but unfortunately they still haven't put it on this model. I'm not just disappointed, I also feel quite insulted because their other Terra models in other countries already have this feature even from 3yrs ago. I'm not that tall so this feature together with the telescopic wheel of Everest is the deal maker for me.
As someone who has experienced the hassle of those power tailgates, I respectfully beg to differ. The telescopic steering we can agree on, not having that one standard is criminal 😂
@@ednis32as someone who also experienced the hassle of not having a powered tailgate/kick to open, i also beg to disagree. May seem like a small, negligible feature but it really helps a lot especially when doing groceries alone.
@@lucky889s9huh
It should have for that price range. Its top of the line. Idiot Nissan
Non power tailgate is not an issue for me. Power tailgate is a headache after 3 to 5 years.
I owned a Fortuner before, then I replaced it with Everest. The difference on ride and driving comfort is night and day, not to mention the features. On maintenance cost, it's comparable since Eve requires 1x/yr. So far after more than 2yrs, no issue with the Everest.
Just wait for the yota fanboys to attack this comment section 😂
They'll make you regret of your decision. Mga pala desisyon sa buhay ng iba 😂
@@BrandoBandit Haha hopefully not. To each his own. I understand those who prefers Fortuner, it's just a matter of preference and what's more important to the buyer. All I'm saying is the cost to own and reliability, other cars aren't that far to so called indestructible vehicle.
Fortuner Hater here bro..everest for the win.
But i own a montero😁
@@BrandoBanditHahahaha..tama ka bro.
@@BrandoBanditresale value and reliability bois pasok! Hahahaha
sobrang sarap i drive ng ford everest. kotse ni GF, ako lagi driver. sarap idrive. variant ng sa amin is 4x4 titanium plus.
Hi, pls put a lot of focus on AC review. Maiinit kasi sa Pinas so big deal ang AC
Nice Comparo. But I bet the Nissan Rogue will beat the Ford Everest, unfortunately it's not available in Philippines (I think)
Nissan X-Trail?😂
Hands down Everest especially in the base model. Everest Trend has so much features that it could compete with the mid range, even high end, variants of other brands.
How is the reliability of the Everest compared to a Toyota? we don't have the Everest in the U.S. but Ford generally are not as reliable as Toyota and Honda.
It will all boils down to after sales service and spare parts price and labor during every breakdown.
Would still be getting a nissan or any japanese cars rather getting ford
@@Noypi54494 it also depends on how you drive it. Full speed on every bump/pothole and then suddenly hard braking every chance you get etc will wear down any vehicle quickly. The key to making the everest last is to enjoy the drive. Dont forget after a long road trip let the engine cool down for at least 10mins if you dont want overheating issues. We have a 2015 trend that has 75km that we use daily and it is still going strong for 7 years. Though on the 6th year you have to change the engine support due to normal wear. We havent had it serviced for a year with the faulty engine support and she still drives like new. Also our tires is 7 years too we haven't changed that since we got it from the dealership 😅
@sooooootamad7539 Good to hear my friend! I've been loyal to Toyota since they are so reliable for me. My 1997 4Runner rides rough but still works.
@@Noypi54494 if I had the money I would buy the 4runner as it isn't sold in the Philippines. Only through private dealers that import them here. In Manila there are 2 4runner trd pro in solar octane orange and lime rush green that goes for 5 million pesos flat. So with that money you could buy the full size Land cruiser or you can buy both high end everest and ranger raptor with spare change to setup one of them up. I won't argue with old Toyota's as you have spoken about it. But I read 2018+ fortuners and Hilux here are always in the dealership/shops. So it really depends on luck too when you buy brand new
i need your opinion guys, san sa dalawa bilhin ko?
For me everest is the best very smooth to run and I like the shock suspension,co.pare to other cars,
Ford Everest rocks! 💪
But of course, nothing can beat the tiredness of the long drives than OSIM massage chair!
Everest!!! 💪👌
Still my best choice. ❤
Go with the Terra. And love the Osim massage chair... has Caco been in a Ferrari before?
Ul go with terra. Everest for me❤
Chair & ac for terra safety & comfort everest for me😂😂
I will go for Terra VL 4WD. It’s Nissan and known for reliability and durability. ❤
Could the Nissan Terra's second row seats be moved forward to give more space to the third row seats?
No
Yes
Yup. 2nd row can be moved forward
Yes, 2nd row is on rails, and it also tumbles as shown in the video. The third row backrest could be tilted around 20 degrees(very comfy if you do this) maybe more. The main issue of the third row is the seat very close to the ground. So you seat like squatting.
Yes it can be moved
Two things that the Everest has that makes me choose it: 3rd row leg room, and torque. 500 nm from a 2.0 is no joke.
Stupid decision. Interior and exterior is the only reasonable choice
@@Zaizenzxz dont forget fuel efficiency
@@unknownwatcher4583yes, more hp means more refuel
@@Zaizenzxz not exactly, you need to factor in engine displacement as well, the terra with 2.5L only producing 450nm of torque while it is on par with most in its segment, isnt really that more efficient while the everest taking advantage of a lower displacement (2.0L) and having a bi-turbo set up actually means the fuel mixture can be leaner which basically consumes lesser fuel thus the improved fuel economy especially in higher speeds.
@@Zaizenzxz No, not really. The fact that the Everest produces more power at a lesser displacement means it is more efficient at using all of the displacement available to it. It also has 2 turbos, which means it burns less fuel to produce all that power. 500 vs 450 NM of torque and 20 more bhp on half a liter less displacement and the same fuel consumption? Yeah the Everest is more fuel efficient bud.
I like the everest! Comfort, tech, safety and speed. I was saved by the emergency brake system of Ford
I don't like either looks of the design from both, but the Everest is starting to grow on me
Terra spacious and smooth ride.
Everest small interior and bumpy dizziness causing ride.
Been seeing a lot of ford ranger, raptor and everest sa daan recently parang di n fortuner in demand ngayon dahil sa comfort issue and i guess nagiging reliable na din ang everest?
Actually reliable talaga sya. 6 yrs na yung sakin and no issues, regular PMS lang. Same with my relative's everest and ranger.
@@krast5839True. We have 2007 everest 4x2 still running❤❤❤

mechanics here in Cagayan de Oro's top car repair shops all agree that the new Ford Rangers visit the shops more often for all sorts of issues especially transmissions...probably will affect Everest too
Why repair shops? Alam ko Ford have 3 to 5 years warranty. Maintenance is every 10k km or just inside once a year.
wouldn't it be stupid to go outside of casa for your car that has 5 yrs warranty? or your info is just plainly hearsay or just an assumption?
@@an2ny2100 I guess Ford users are that stupid.
10:38 Brilliant!🤣 Love that: "Oh shit bar" and "Oh thank you bar"
the aggressive, wide and masculine look of the Everest is the winner for me

Very Happy with my Everest.....cant be compared with my previous vehicles (Montero and Fortunner) the best driving experience....
1:53 did someone notice that the Everest has black smoke???
same here, that’s what I immediately noticed 😢
Same lahat ng diesel ganyan talaga.
Compare the 4x4 Everest vs Mu-x 4x4
No doubt when it comes to parts or maintenance, if get the Ford, you got to be, can afford.
The two suvs are comfortable. i like the terra more because of its comfort and reliability ❤
But Terra suspension is still more jarring especially on un even concrete roads. The watts linkage on Everest and Everest suspension works very well even on rough and eneven roads. Try nyo sumakay sa likod or 2nd row seat ng Terra, nakakahilo. Sa everest, hindi nakakahilo sa 2nd and 3rd row
@@AR-px1tyagree, both suvs are comfy
@@AR-px1ty I agree. Everest is more stable on rough road that's based on my observation during the test drive with the Limited.
Manila to Cagayan valley. Maganda pa suspension, never nasira suspension, original pa ang lahat ng suspension. 8 yrs na yung everest trend ko. Maganda at smooth pa din ang takbo.
The line is long for the everest titanium, but i'm getting the 4x2 only. The third row of the terra is really the deal breaker for me.
Most people say that, when in reality they don't use the third row. But terra with the price, comfort, reliability, availability of spare parts, cheaper maintenance
