- What a show. Two venues this year, were required because of all the new cars, new brands, and new faces that came along for the ride, and what a ride it was for Caco and crew. A lot, and we do mean a lot of brands were present, both old and new, and some returning with a vengeance. We're beat shooting and editing this video but just in the nick of time for you to see what's up this weekend. Check out our video, but do check out MIAS if this recap gets to you before the 7th of April, 2024.

I love that there are still big car shows. I remember the days when London Motorshow was huuuge and it wasn't expensive. Nowadays unless it's the Italian motorshows European events aren't worth it anymore.

Great video. Haven't been to a auto show in decades, the experience I had this afternoon seems alien to me. The Ytterby and the Ora seems nice. The Ariya looks great. A bit disappointed I didn't see any official displays by Toyota, Mazda, Isuzu , and Ford. Thank you for making fun reviews, that is part of the reason why I got motivated to actually attend an event like the MIAS after a long time. Live Long and Prosper!

Ford got nothing new to display unless you want to see the usual boring Everest,Ranger,Territory and outdated Explorer that is available at every Ford showrooms 😂
Isuzu got nothing new to display too unless you want to see the bare overpriced D Max outdated trucks and Traviz again 😂
Mazda didn't join as they've got nothing new to display same goes for Honda and Toyota (Tamaraw won't be introduced till 3rd or 4th quarter of this year)
@@KuchingKingVideoGameractually the real reason why is because these other brands are at the rival show (Philippine International Auto Show) operated by CAMPI.
MIAS (operated by AVID or Association of Vehicle Importers and Distributors) has been losing members left and right. They recently just lost Ford Peugeot Honda Volvo Isuzu and Mazda. It’s no surprise, then, that they decided to invite all of these overpriced Chinese brands here.
72% are Chinese and all of them have cars that nobody wants. Obviously the market leaders don’t need to participate.

One factor some of these Chinese brands should consider is localizing/renaming some of their units' names. No way I'm driving something called Menglong😭 that sounds goofy as hell!

I went there yesterday and it's flooded with chinese brands, but Honestly I kinda like what they have offering, test drove the GAC emzoom and i was amazed.
Every car that catches the eye is amazing to drive. Until day 15.

Wishing you can cover Toyota, Honda, Ford, BMW, Audi booths, I didn’t have time to check out their booths at MIAS
Those brands you've mentioned aren't in the motor show 😂 PGA Cars stopped joining that as its owner hates gawkers and non-buyers..RSA Motors doesn't want its current inventory of BMW vehicles to be displayed that motorshow.
Ford didn't join as they've got nothing new to display (New Mustang and Bronco will arrive in June or July).
It was disappointing, a lot of Chinese cars on display looked like copies of Alpards, Hilux , Teslas etc. I felt like I was at the automotive equivalent to Greenhills looking at class c grade counterfeits 😂

cant wait before nissan release the ariya here, probably around 2030 when it won't sell anymore, that's probably the best time for them to release it, like what happened to their Nissan leaf.
Korean EVs way better than Japanese EVs like bz4x(recall) and this(ariya)
I don't think i will get an electric china made vehicle. In fact, BYD is having problems with their electric models with battery issues. While it may be cheaper purchased price, not sure about its reliability. My 2 cents worth of comment.
BYD and other Chinese EVs sold in the Philippines are very reliable
German and American EVs are less more reliable

sadly MIAS 2024 mostly from Chinese car brand,compare mo sa U.S at Thailand.Medyo late ung mga update nang car dto sa Pinas.Sa U.S ung Tucson 2025 medyo mganda mga variant dto sa atin parang tinipid or outdated,same goes sa kicks nang nisaan.Na highlights lng don sa Hyundai ung Santa Fe.Medyo madamot ung Phil market sa update compare sa other global market

Ionic 5 N looks really nice esp the paint quality however, i am kinda disappointed with the interior, too plain for my taste and almost “cheap”, the interior doesn’t match the exterior.

I have a Chevrolet, so hard to find parts and Casa is no help, also their resale value is so low....beware of these China cars they are will be worst than Chevy.

Elon Musk is right all the way: Chinese cars will dominate the car industry. It's happening.
As soon they set up shop for parts and maintenance in major cities in the countey, it will be end game for other brands.
In Iligan, for example, toyota, nissan, and kia now have shops! Did I see mitsubishi? The car industry is as good as it can get the cars maintained well. So, the faster they set up casas, the brighter their marker prospects.
Fears of made in China cars are fuelled by problems about maintenance. As soon as that is solved, more people will buy Chinese cars. My issues with with cars are simple. Will it take me to where I go safely, confortably? When it starts having problems, is there a nearby casa where I can have it checked and done?
