      2013 santa fe user. I agree korean engines have a strong kick and does have a good gear ratio. Newer montero fortuner and everest cant chase me. Not to brag pero i already tested it sometimes. I went 180 to 185kph in tplex nung medyo maluwag pa sa speedlimit. Pero syempre hindi ako nag babad sa ganung speed ayoko masira agad engine ko hehe😅

      Yep can confirm. Santa Fe owner here. Our SF DM has 200hp 420 nm torque and lighter than those cumbersome PPVs. If we go by SUV/crossover parameters, except for the occassional Audis or BMWs or fellow SFs, iwan lahat.

    Wow! Looks like it's better to get this rather than the Azkarra because it has powerful engine, bigger space, and a traditional automatic transmission.

    We got ours last March the same model as in AD's review only in white with black interior. I don't like to sound biased but you are really getting your money's worth with this automobile! Great performance, good handling and ride, and a very spacious and luxurious interior! Yes, there are some things that I wish Hyundai added like front parking sensors and a 360 camera but I can forgive it since adding those features would bump its price way above the 2M Peso mark.
    And also the 5 year or 200,000km warranty is a plus for us. Very few brands here in the PH offer the same length of warranty for their products. Also goes to show that the automobile is built to last a lifetime.

    It is only this time that hyundai/kia diesels are appreciated but this engine has been in use since 2010 together with the 2.2D. Its 2023 now and still still a beast of an engine. Paano nalang pag naka remap. 😂
    Im really a fan of kpop diesels. Especially their 2.5 d4cb (4d56 twin) that engine is a monster. A bit old but with a mighty 177hp with 441nm of torque. Thats even used in their h350.
    We own 4 korean diesels. 2009 sorento. 2011 sorento. 2013 santa fe. 2019 santa fe. Never broked down and been driven like a hoodlum. Never embarassed me.

      True, korean engines are highly reliable--and fast. Mine is a 2013 2.2 sorento with 182,000+ kms. no major repairs other than replacing the bushings, tie rod and related parts underneath due to normal wear and tear. Its over 10 yrs old na but it remains a thrill to drive. Press the pedal and newer SUVs/CUVs will be hard pressed catching up. In fact Im looking for lower mileage well-cared sorento of the same year model to replace mine. Anyone wid 50k or lower on the odo?., That should give me at least 132k (182-50) of worry free rides for d next 6 to 7 yrs for a fraction of d cost of a brand new car.

    Got my Tucson last February and it continues to impress me, my wallet, and my family. Design department, it is a complete head-turner and can compete with more expensive brands. In terms of performance, it is superb, fast, and seamless (for a long-time Rav4 driver like me). Surprised too with the efficiency numbers that I get every time. On average, I get 20 kilometers/liter reading for a nighttime drive from Indang (Cavite) to BGC.

    I just got an SEL with the convenience package (USA trim) a month ago, and I love it! Never thought I would love a Hyundai so much! It rides and drives very smoothly, rivaling the much more expensive "premium" car brands. The standard radio and speakers are AWESOME!!! They sound every bit as good as the Bose system in the Mazda CX-5 that I previously drove. I just wish the USA models had the "push" shift buttons instead of the standard shifter. My car does have LED interior lights, unlike the one in this video. However, just to be clear...the seats are NOT leather. They are covered with a synthetic material they call H-Tex, which is very soft and comfortable. Also, the USA models in this trim come standard with a traditional sunroof, which the above car does not have. It sure looks like leather to people who don't know any better. All in all, the new Tucson is a SOLID car, and I believe I made the best choice in getting one. 😊

    Well if Hyundai PH stubbornly chooses to keep its inventory outdated, people might as well start thinking that the Tucson is nothing more but a thing of the past. This model they(HyundaiPH) are shoving down our throat is and has been outdated by at least a couple of years already in comparison to what Hyundai dealerships around the world offers. Heck even Hyundai Africa maintains a more up to date inventory of their Hyundai Cars than Hyundai PH. I wish the interior is black regardless if there are few piano blacks. I can live with it. I'd day korean cars are now evolving and gives a stiff competition not just to japanese brands but also to the ever so thriving chinese brands.

      The white interior is only available if you choose the Amazon Grey exterior (the one featured in this video). Every other color would give you a black interior regardless if you choose the gas or diesel variant.

    Question about the transmission here. If you've got dedicated buttons for drive and reverse, does that mean you can switch with one another directly? Won't that hurt your gears if you don't go to neutral first?

    For the longest time looking at these new car reviews, I seem not to find one car that has a cubby holder that snuggly fits a key fob. Even just a dent on the plastic wil do, right? Since they deleted the classic ash trays, why not bring one back, this time just for the key fob. Just me here

    Need comparo: Tucson vs Territory vs Forester 🤤

    • @derekdiez5494
      @derekdiez5494 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Territory is another segment, compact crossover that includes HRV, Subaru XV, Corolla Cross, Creta. Crossover segment includes Tuscon, RAV4, CRV, Forester, CX-5, XTrail, Escape, Sportage.

    • @rivermax7727
      @rivermax7727 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The first generation Territory in the Philippines is bigger than subcompacts crossovers HRV, Coolray, Corrola Cross, CX3, Kona, Seltos but smaller than Compacts crossovers like CRV, Rav 4, X-Trail, CX5, Escape. The all new Territory is now about the size if not bigger than both Tucson and Forester but much cheaper because Tucson is diesel-fed and Forester is symmetrical AWD besides the Territory is made in China, Tucson is made in South Korea and Forester is made in Japan.
