But how does it compare to the Nissan Terra VL 4x4. In this video, we'll rank the Toyota Fortuner GR-S and the Nissan Terra VL 4x4 in different categories and then we'll choose our overall winner

Fortuner is just old but still reliable, but I'll go with the Terra.
Bakit ba ang bunga-nga mo puro reliable? Alam mo ba ang ibig sabihin ng reliable sa car? Yang pili mo na Terra hindi ba reliable? Bugok na bugok ang tao na puro Reliable ang bunga-nga. Ang ibig sabihin sa reliable sa Toyota ay Maraming Parts at available sa lahat ng autoparts
Between these two, i'd go for Terra
If you add Monterosport in the mix, it's harder to decide (Montero is the best of both cheap parts and comfortable ride)

Alhamdulillah in my experience owning nissan & infiniti, they are more reliable than the toyota & lexus. Especially when you take good care of your Nissan's vehicle with service routine with good oil, good spare parts and so on , insha Allah they are more-more reliable. 🙂👍
The Terra is also my winner hoping to have a Terra someday I'm saving for it.

we need a 7 seater and bought the terra vl 4x2 as i thought it was large enough especially the third row seats but i was wrong. the 3rd row is almost flat on the ground and feels like squatting when you are the occupant. the mu-x should have been the better choice if third row is the priority. with regards to this comparo, imho, the forty has a better 3rd row compared to the terra but too pricey. comfort wise, it's the terra all day!
I guess it depends on your height. The floor of the Terra is definitely too high, much higher than the Fortuner. That makes it less comfortable but still usable by people over 5'9. At 5'8 though, i don't have any headroom on the Fortuner. If you're 5'10,you'd have to bend your neck. But like I mentioned in the video, both SUVs are not the best when it comes to 3rd row space. The Mu-X is really the gold standard in this class when it comes to 3rd row seating
Exactly on point... 3rd row is too low(terra)...Good only for kids up to 6 to 8 yrs old. Nissan should have add the seat height for tall people to sit comfortably. MUX has the most spacious, comfortable 3rd row seats among PPVs. I haven't tried on the new 2023 Everest.
exactly maganda lng ang tera sa front and driver seat. 2nd and 3rd row dna xa comportble kasi dna supported tigh mo.

The problem with the Staria it sits very low not good for bad roads.

While you're talking about NHV, I find Terra is noisier than Fortuner in your video. I wonder what are your bases regarding it. 😆
In the video, I was driving the Terra on the highway at 80-100kph at an almost constant 1800-2000rpm. While I was driving the Fortuner in the city where the RPM fluctuates from 1k-2krpm. If you'd listen to the engine of the fortuner at 2k rpm, it's more audible even if it's being driven at slower speeds. (Noise should get higher on the highway as road noise and wind noise increase at higher speeds) You can also feel the vibrations more through the cabin of the Fortuner
