  • 1 1/2" Thick Steak in an Air Fryer!!! along with Portobello mushrooms sauteed in the drippings from the steak and some butter... all in around 20 minutes!!! and absolutely spectacular..." Steak House Quality "... or... way better than many steakhouses I've been to... the only lie I tell in this video is that I cook 80 percent of the steaks I cook nowadays in an air fryer... and after thinking about it...that may have been a way under... it's actually more like 90... maybe even 95%... and if you try it I honestly believe you will see why!!! Love Y'all !!!
    come back to see me!!!

@@JohnSanders - Loved all your past videos with Ninja Foodi. Does Ninja Speedi do any pressure cooking, or steam frying? I want to know if it can cook a whole chicken, for example.

@@manofsan no it does not pressure cook, it does everything else, I love mine, but I don’t really like pressure cooked food, my mother in law used to pressure cook and everything turned to mush, put me right off. I love it can do pasta, and roast potatoes, I don’t suffer from any smoke at all. So I cannot imagine why you need the door open.

Well great product. Bought mine last month hit it a week ago. I have made dinner in 30 mins from gathering in grey to finish cooking . I use the Speedo meal option. I have cooked steak , pork tenderloin, chicken cutlets with rice, potato’s, vegs all at once based on the chart fir speedy meals. I have reduced the time as it tends to be too long fir my taste. Great meal cooker. I hated the air fryers & pressure cookers. Either too small or noisy. This is nice as I can add or toss the fries mid cook . I like it’s not locked down so I can stir or stir ingredients. The cooking guide is easy to follow & to create your own substitutions. This is a 5 star appliance. It’s big 12 inches square but open the top you need 24 inch clearance. Needs table top or open counter. Easily serves 4 to 6 depending on ingredients. Enjoy!

Yesterday I made my first porterhouse well preheated the foodi on just airfryer mode it took only 7 minutes to perdection.
Since my husband and I drive truck over the road (about 25 years) I have cooked so many different ways...
My ninja foodi and gourmia were very helpful and still on the truck but when I found the speedi on sale for $100 at Sam's I am enjoying it so much. When I cook for the whole family or friends at home I use my kitchen stove. Airfryers are an addition not a replacement for that.

The problem with that method is you won't get the flavor of charcoal or gas grill give. And only a rookie uses a thermometer on a steak. You can tell how done the steak is by the feel of the steak. The color looks good and looks tender for a medium well steak.

SO EASY--- I've had NO smoke at all... YET- Last time I cooked before this thing was here-- BUzzards circled the house!!!! BUt not with this..

Convection is kind of a tricky term... actually all ovens... even old ones and Air Fryer ovens are convection... it really refers more to heat transfer and one is natural heat transfer to the foods and the other is assisted with a fan to speed it up... but I know what you mean when you say convection because that is how it has been referred to for years... but that might be why the answer is tricky... hope this helps and sorry for the long answer...
