excited to watch this! been doing wim hof every morning for a few years now, and recently have been 100% consistent every single morning, doing at least 4 sets. It is probably the single most beneficial thing I do. It also seems to snowball, as in your lungs get better, you get better. your mind goes deeper, so every day you are farther. Truly life changing

Thank you for this explanation. I have utilised various breathing techniques. This has inspired me to be mindful of my options at any time of the day and how I am feeling, not just during a dedicated breath work session 🙏💙🦋

I can think of no one better to listen to, who has made a special guided breathing video for just the very scenario I’m about to describe 😉, where I am sitting at my bench or desk with a tedious task or two to get done over a period from 20 - 60 minutes and can listen and implement it during those tasks. (Hint-hint😉) Kitaro could even add that great calming music in the background he always does. Also as always, it would magical!
Breathwork will then be more than just a morning routine!😅

Not breathing/deeply is one way to avoid ones feelings. Do regularly breathing deeply can help one be in tough with ones feeling which is a big deal.

    Besides the great content.
It's pleasing to see the improvements on the quality of your videos by lighting, acting and even visual effects

Breath - it’s the rhythm of life, the pulse that beats quietly in my soul, a gift wrapped in grace. Every inhale is a reminder that I’m here to live, and every exhale speaks to a love that’s uniquely mine to give. This isn’t just survival; it’s truly living to and from within, a beat that lets me feel, heal, and reach out. I breathe to live, and I live to love - my way, my own rhythm. Just Breathe.

Fascinating stuff! I have a question...
I struggle with PTSD and have been battling it for years. My system gets flooded with cortisol and my anxiety levels go through the roof.
What pointers can you give me to help stay on top of things? Any help gratefully received

Terrific! I found myself using these other techniques unconsciously ( sort of) throughout certain days. What you said resonates with me as I do enjoy my morning breath work routine, but expanding the various techniques during the day/ evenings certainly helps. Cheers

So true! I tend to become a bit rigid with workouts, yoga, breathing exercises so I downloaded several different sessions from you. Now I ask myself in the morning: how do I want to feel? (Still rigid on the time of day though😆)
    Thank you for doing this🙏🏼😊

Can we do wim hof (reset your nervous system video) in the evening before night time for anxiety? Would that mean it’s not recommended as it increases alertness?

    • @KitaroWaga
      @KitaroWaga  26 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

It's really about nuance here. I go over exactly these sorts of questions in depth in my Hormesis Method Course. But the short anwer is that I generally don't advice to do it in the evening. But if it generally can disrupt your anxiety, you need to see if it disrupt your sleep, if not you're good to go. Another option would be to adjust the general tone of the breathwork session (calmer breathing for example).

Silly old Taoist, awareness of breath
    Climbing a mountain
Mouth shut, deep nose breathing, humming
    Playing on mountain bike
Slowly breathing deep, quick feet, wu wei
    Watching the world
Quiet breath, quiet mouth, quiet mind
    Each moment has its own
    Practice breath while playing
Play is how we program ourselves
