For me the best WHM guided breathing I found until now. All others have static breathing countdowns, here we increase speed at own level. Additional I pause the video for longer breathholds. Thank you!

I'm very rusty on this, but I'm able to do the first two. The last two I had inhaled for half a second. It's difficult, since you feel kinda trapped, like underwater, when you're not used to more than 2 minutes of holding your breath.
Many cannot even do 1 minute, since they don't practice. 1 minute has been easy for since shortly after I first started to do this. Hehe.

It is crazy how someone somewhat conservative like me could absolutely change my perspective on world and life itself because of the Wim Hof method.
When I discovered it I did it for several months and than switched to regular meditation and found Buddhism because of it. Now it's also few months since and I found yours as even better version for myself than the original Wim Hof breathing.
Now I'm combining your method and meditation. Thank you so much❤ Namaste🙏

I've watched this video and done the breathwork with you maybe 20 times so far.
Today during my breath hold in the third and fourth round I was brought to tears by a surge of feelings of power and confidence. It's like I saw the big picture of my growth and the end result. While tearing up, for the first time today, I did the full 2:45 breath hold. I felt elation, joy, happiness, confidence, power. And most of all I remembered God while holding my breath and thanked him for the work he is doing in me.
Thanks for your help Kitaro Waga.

    - 1st round: 1:00
    - 2nd round (1min 30sec): 4:00
    3rd round(2min retention): 7:25
    4th round(2min 45sec ret): 11:35
What I realize is that if I breathe too fast the oxygenation is not great and my retention time reduced comparing to when I breathe moderately fast.
Also, I've experimented with a little expelling force, and the results were improved. This is my body, maybe you guys should experiment too.

I have been doing Wim Hof nightly for almost 2 years now. I use it to quiet the incessant chatter in my mind. I found that the more agitated I was, the harder it was to hold my breadths. However, even if I were to fail to hold my breath for longer than 1.5 minutes, my mind always became more quiet.

This was great. I’ve been doing wim hof off and on for 5 years, ritually for a year. I’ve had 5-6 min retentions, even this morning. But it’s been a lack of depth in the experience. The speed on round 4 took me to a whole other level. Thanks you!

Thank you for taking the time to post this video. As others have already stated, this is the best WH breathing video. I’ve been trying this breathing for over one year. I still haven’t been able to get it right. I have never felt an inner storm nor are my retention as long. I know I’m doing something wrong but haven’t been able to get it figured out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Also, for the same amount of time as the breathing, I’ve been taking cold showers daily and spending time in cold mountain creek’s a couple times a week. I find the cold very therapeutic. For many years I have said, the cold is good for the soul.

    • @cominoengenharia
      @cominoengenharia ปีที่แล้ว +2

I have an impression that you're demanding to much of yourself and your expectations. You don't need to have any of those 'mystical' experiences in your body in order to benefit from the breathing. If you're not experiencing at least a calming effect during the retention phase, know that it's a matter of mindset, not of correctedness of the practice. You can deliberately meditate in those special minutes (or seconds) during which your brain would be sharp and focused as a result of the adrenaline and lack of breathing.
As for the length of the breathing, two factors are in play: your cardiovascular fitness and your level of calm and surrender during the practice. Both can be improved separately and will reflect on your time retention.
May you be in happy, may you be in peace, may you be free (from aversion and attachments).

I have been doing wim hof breathing techniques for a few years and you totally changed the way I do it and helped me to not strain my internal organs in the process... You are by far the best Wim Hof breathing instructor I've discovered on TH-cam! You explained the method with detail in a calm, easy listening voice. You also helped me pinpoint something I've been doing wrong for the past 2 years! Which was tensing my neck and shoulders. That alone made a big difference ❤

In 4 days I will be undergoing a double Masectomy surgery. This has been a very emotional exercise for me. But my heart rate, BP, and anxiety are so much lower! I am also getting deep sleep at night! Bravo Kitaro! 💕

Oh my goodness ! I just started doing the wim hof breathing technique last week and have been doing it daily … words can’t describe how grateful I am for this technique and your video , besides being charged with prana energy that I feel intensely, tears come usually on the last round and sometimes laughter comes too , I also feel it opens my solar plexus chakra , the last round I did with your video my field of awareness turned to white . This is super helpful and interesting I shall continue !!! Thank you 🙏

God bless you, Mr. Kitaro Waga, this video is exactly what i needed, a higher intensity than the standard wim hof and longer breath holds. Also, your smile is very contagious and you are a great teacher😸 i am a 17 year old student and i hope im able to do these exercise daily from now onwards and become a better version of myself. Once again, thanks a lot.

Excellent guided session. Your approach leads to a calm focus that I've been missing in my practice lately.
I really like the pacing as well as the fact that you breathe through the nose for the sake of the video, making it easier to find our own rhythm.
If you have a different protocol for nighttime, it would awesome to see a guided video for that.

This is my favorite guided breathwork video.
This method (And especially your way of delivering it:) has been my replacement for substance abuse!
    THANK YOU SO MUCH KITARO!!
Before I started the breath work I could only do 10 pull-ups. Now after the fourth round I continue breathing, go into a retention and I can do 35 pullups!
Sometimes I do the entire session 10 to 15 times a day.
Are there any known risks with doing it that often?

:3 I'm very rusty on this, but I'm able to do the first two.
Hehe.
