''You put your faith in fools'' Ruby first trusts Cinder, Emerald, and Mercury when they came to Beacon. "Mirrors will shatter" Weiss uses the term mirror for life, so many lives will be shattered. "Their blinding eyes that burn the yellow flame" In volume 3 when Yang is fighting Mercury, she is blinded by Emerald's illusion and the others also don't trust her and she gets arrested, so "the yellow flame (Yang) gets burned (destroyed)"
"This is not a tragedy. It's not an accident. You placed your faith in fools and now you'll smother in lament. They play the part of allies claiming peace is the only goal. But once the fight for power starts, they'll eat each other whole. Their iron gloves point fingers. They'll rage a war of blame. And mankind will wilt in pain." This is definitely Cinder's song. This sounds exactly like her speech.
So noone has caught onto this until now? Everyone's always saying that this foreshadowed the whole of season 3 and the fall of Beacon. A lot of people are also saying, that what's happening in Atlas at the moment seems to be very similar to the fall of Beacon. The name of the song is LITERALLY "When it falls". We always assumed the "it" meant Beacon, but try to listen to the lyrics from our current standpoint. "When IT falls". What could be the thing that falls that would be as impactful as the fall of Beacon. I have a feeling this time it won't be a fall just as a matter of speech, because this time, we have something that can actually "fall". Atlas will fall.... and this song predicted it in season 3.
Maybe *RED* s like roses Their eyes are wide and *WHITE* like snow Soon the moon is bathed in *BLACK* That burn a *YELLOW* flame How did I never notice this.
Yooo wait "Maybe it's red like roses" "Are wide and white as snow" "Soon the moon is bathed in black" "That burn a yellow flame" Yooooooooo the lyrics tho
theamazingmaymay123 I think Salem to Ozpin. As hard as he tries to save the world, many will die in the process just because it’s his cause and no one else’s.
The lyrics of the song is not a coincidence. RWBY Red like roses, or maybe it's the pool of blood. White eyes like snow, and mirrors that shatter by the weight of the world. Black bathed moon, swallowed by darkness. Yellow flames which, what ever embers remain, will light the fuse of condemnation. This maybe Cinder scorning Ozpin and his actions, but it sounds like it's foreshadowing further. Red is only compared to blood... just think about that. White snow, cool. but right after it says that mirrors will shatter under the weight of the world. Weiss is already correlated with mirrors thanks to her theme, "Mirror Mirror", and in "It's my turn", she explained how she'd always been oppressed by someone, and it's hinted that she was oppressed by her father... Weiss is going back home with her father. Atlas will be her world now, and combined with her father's oppression, she might just get crushed by the weight of the world. Blake's a bit of a long shot, but I think that if she's going to rise "From Shadows", she would've had to have been swallowed by darkness first. Yang is always compared with fire. but she was basically extinguished when she lost her arm. Fire always leave behind embers, and sounds like they'll light the fuse of condemnation. Question is, who is it that will be condemned? Maybe I'm looking into it too much but this is all I've noticed when I took a close look at the lyrics.
Usually the volume themes only convey the general theme of the Volume in question- for this and Volume 3, the message was "EVERYTHING IS BURNING! EVERYONE DIES! YOU WEREN'T READY- YOU COULD NEVER BE READY!". But considering the majority of [if not all] the rest of the songs used in RWBY are either related to on-going plot point and/or certain aspects of specified characters, it's not out of the question that When It Falls could be hinting at Volumes 5 and 6 just a tad [since Volume 4's over now, and that was the "Oh boy, was THAT a nightmare- time to start picking up the pieces" volume]. Also, the comparison between blood and roses was used in Red Like Roses Pt.2 to symbolise Summer Rose's death ["Doesn't matter how; the petals scattered now; every nightmare just discloses; it's your blood that's Red like roses"]. So I really hope you are not trying to predict the death of Ruby Rose, Undisputed Best Girl [she's 16 now- that's only illegal in the US, we can say it now without feeling bad].
I could be wrong here, but I think it's _"Maybe _*_red's like roses!_* _Maybe it's _*_a_*_ pool of blood,_ _The _*_innocents_*_ will lay in when in the end you fail to save them."_
Maybe it's red like roses -nod toward the pool of blood that would be red Maybe it's the pool of blood -they are laying in a pool of blood, it's "the" because red like roses was nosing towards this The innocent will lay in -innocents and innocent mean the same thing, they are both plural and honestly innocent works better here
If you listen closely, this song basically foreshadows the season 3 finale.. (let's not forget in the s3 opening *where this song is used* pyrrha was the 1st in the cycle to let go..)
who else realized that the lyrics are talking about each character of team rwby in order 0:08-*R*uby~red 0:18-*W*eiss~white 1:22-*B*lake~black 1:31-*Y*ang~yellow putting them in order spells the team name "rwby" i love how the lyrics say their color in the form of poetry :3
Except for the fact that this song is wrong, Salem might not have forgotten about Ozpin's 'smaller soul' but I think she definitely underestimates it. There will be a hero who rises above, the question is whether or not she will *survive* her victory. Or if the price of saving the world will be her life. At this point, I wouldn't put it past Roosterteeth.
didn't Oz already try that with Summer Rose? i'm not sure it will work i mean, i still think that salem will be defeated, but it would be a great twist if Oz was kinda evil too, ya know
you guys wished for a dark volume and ya got one, rooster teeth reads all comments and takes it all into thought when making the next volume! i hope your happy, i did like the dark volume but....... PENNY AND PYRRA DIIEEEEDDDDD *sobs in a corner*
The show was planned up to 8-10 volumes. Our comments had nothing to do with it. They still don't. What they do effect is the lighter aspects of the show. Jokes mostly.
Anastasia Cobaine Penny isnt technically dead, she can be rebuilt but her memory will have been reset. Pyrrha, however, is dead physically, yet her soul might be infused in her headpiece and Jaune (volume 4 spoiler) recovrrs it, not to mention he has a video of every training session he did with Pyrrha
all of the openings have essentially foreshadowed the volume they were created for. one of the reasons why I love RWBY is because the OST is all original content made for the show. none of the lyrics can be misread, each and every song has a purpose.
Silvy Draws Same here. I watched the intro every time, but I didn't really think of it as being foreshadowing at the time. Next thing I know, after I finished crying after episode 12, everything clicked. I realized that the intro song was one big spoiler. I didn't expect it, and none of the other admins on RWBY Nation expected it. That just goes to show how well written, and well hidden, these signs are from us. It also shows that Miles and Kerry are damn good writers.
+Silvy Draws go back and listen to This Will Be The Day-- "victory is in a simple soul" ties into what Ozpin and Salem are talking about at the beginning of v1 and the end of v3. "Time to Say Goodbye" for v2-- "We can't just wait with lives at stake until they think we're ready" and even makes a cameo appearance in the v3 soundtrack as an acoustic version-- "were we born to fight and die? sacrificed for one huge lie? are we fighters keeping peace? or are we weapons pointed at the enemy so someone else can claim a victory?" gives you lots to think about :3
OK, SO I was listening to the RWBY soundtracks in class, and some asshole kid decided to unplug my earphones and steal my phone and turn it up to full volume. So, this song starts and he steals my phone and everyone is staring at him as the piano opening to this song starts and they're all like "Oh yeah, of course, the tiny girl is into classical music" (I'm 4'5) then they hear a deafening *MAYBE IT'S RED LIKE LIKE ROSES* and they're all staring at me now and needless to say I pulled a Nora on that kid.
Well, volume 7 wraps up and it remains true to this song. "Mirrors will shatter" Oz lies/schemes. "Crushed by the weight of the world" Atlas & Ironwood. "Pillars collapse" Foundations that had been built and maybe literally even the towers. What may have yet to happen: "The shining light will sink in darkness" Either hope, Ozpin, or even Ruby. "The blinding eyes that burn a yellow flame the embers that remain will light the fuse of condemnation" Ruby, Yang or possibly Cinder. "The peace will succumb to flame" There's gonna be war. "Their iron gloves point fingers, wage a war of blame. and mankind will wilt in pain" More war.
I think "the shining light will sink in darkness" could just be a very literal mention of Beacon's fall and the utter destruction of hope there, while "blinding eyes that burn a yellow flame" might reference Yang's fight against Mercury, where she's unjustly condemned, especially given Yang's theme with embers (Ember Celica, Ignite and I Burn themes, etc.)
I was just revisiting this, and the fall of Beacon leading the shattering of peace altogether especially with the collapse of the CCT Towers and sheer panic of having an entire Huntsman school overrun with Grimm. Also, "mankind will wilt in pain" this could refer to Ruby's rose allusions but also Wilt is the name of Adam's blade, and given Adam's goals of the subjection of mankind during this time, that would also be fitting.
@@michaelcervantes9578 honestly I used to love Ruby so much and I kind of checked out a long time ago cuz it progressively lost that essence that made it so amazing in the first place and God really really bland and boring to the point relatives accomplishing a problems and bad writing
FDN it was a good build up volume to the real action (minus the dance arc, ugh that was awful) in V3. 'No Brakes' and 'Breach' were pretty tight as far as fights go.
I love the link between "there'll be no hero in the end who will rise above" and church's speech from red vs blue about the hero not knowing whether his sacrifice made any difference.
Good work man. Saw your comment on RT4Copyright's video. I had a bit of trouble understanding certain bits of the second part, so thanks for posting this.
man. the FORSHADOWING IN THE MUSIC OF THIS SERIES is just next level. Or maybe I'm seeing things that aren't there. "They play the part of allies , claiming peace their only goal, but once the fight for power starts, they'll eat each other whole, their iron gloves point fingers, they'll wage a war of blame, and mankind will wilt in pain" Ironwood extended his hand in friendship, but turned against them, blamed them for the events leading up to that moment and made everything MUCH WORSE. "the shining light will sink in darkness" Team RWBY could be humanity's hope, it's "light", and they fell through the darkness, literally. "victory for hate incarnate" Salem gets 2 relics, she's won a great victory. "misery and pain for all when it falls" could be referencing the fall of light, team rwby again or atlas's fall, crow and crew looked pretty damn miserable, or both. mind you this song came out in season 3. and it could just be because there are a lot of parallels between season 3 and 7, but we've seen solid forshadowing before from RWBY, and it's hard to say how far out Monty Oum had discussed general plot points with the team, though officially his notes go up to season 5, the team could also be drawing from earlier work, including the music to plot things out going forward. Or this could all be coincidental, if so then well, it's cool how well it lined up with much much later events.
I know this is a year old but there is also "and now they know the cost of trusting you is obliteration" could be about Ozpin hiding the fact that he has no way to beat Salem from everyone
They story board up to 20 likely Monty had a plot line till the final end at least bare bones. They did not release all his notes I thought. And correct what he shared on writing the songs he clearly gave the composer notes on stuff going way out maybe even to the end. Monty seams to be the type who plot lines the whole thing before they even start not the type who flys by seat of pants.
maybe red's like roses they're dying eyes and wide and white like snow swallowed by the darkness, soon the moon is bathed in black they're blinding eyes, that burn a yellow flame ... i see what they did there.
Red like roses, or maybe it's the pool of blood. White eyes like snow, and mirrors that shatter by the weight of the world. Black bathed moon, swallowed by darkness. Yellow flames which, what ever embers remain, will light the fuse of condemnation. spells Freakin RWBY
a line for each member, Red like roses, or maybe it's the pool of blood. (Ruby) White eyes like snow, and mirrors shatter by the weight of the world. (Weiss) Black bathed moon, swallowed by darkness. (Blake) Yellow flames which, what ever embers remain, will light the fuse of condemnation (Yang) Ruby is often represented by roses, Weiss sings songs with mirrors constantly mentioned (like mirror mirror) Blake is often mentioned in relation to shadows (her song is from shadows) Yang is represented by yellow fire, (I burn, ignite, her line in red like roses part 1 "yellow beauty burns gold" etc)
Idk how this song is controversial it actually fits the volume unlike volume 2. (Don’t get me wrong that song is a banger but it does not at all fit volume 2)
in my opinion, season 3 might have been the best season, even tho season 4 was awesome, i just absolutely LOVED the story and fights and characters in season 3
Volume 3 was the most dramatic, blood pumping change in tge narrative. It forced the characters into horrible situations and face tragedy upon tragedy. But looking at Volume 5 the worst is yet to come.
I might be slightly losing it but I can make (most definitely unintentional but still interesting) connections between some of the lyrics and... everything that just happened in Volume 9
initially i didnt like this op. like. at all BUT now in retrospect its 1. a bop and 2. absolutely chilling with how well it fits for the plot of season 3
maybe it's Red like roses, maybe it's the pool of blood... they're dying eyes are wide and White like snow... swallowed by the darkness, soon the moon is bathed in Black... the blinding eyes that burn a Yellow flame... never noticed that before
"Maybe it's *red* like roses" , Ruby "Their eyes are wide and *white* like snow", Weiss "Soon the moon is bathed in *black* ", Blake "That burn a *yellow* flame", Yang
"You placed your faith in fools And now you'll smother in lament They play the part of allies Claiming peace their only goal But once the fight for power starts They'll eat each other whole Their iron gloves point fingers They'll wage a war of blame And mankind will wilt in pain." Is it just me, or did this song predict Ironwood Vol7/8? There's no way they had this planned that far ahead.
I think they always planned Ironwood to go that path. I mean he already did questionable things in Vol 1-3, like snitching Ozpin to Beacon's council, claiming he didn't do enough and thus gained control of the entire tournament and Ozpin was planned to get fired from his position because of this (luckily he died before) Also I think they said that when Monty died, he had already made detailed notes for the plot until Volume 9 and rough notes after that until the end. It's very likely this was planned
@@Anatiumregina Yes as someone who has read up on those who become dictator but start with Noble goals Ironwood fit it to a T. I knew most likely he would go very bad from his first appearance. Ruby and friends thinking with their harts and not their minds and jumping to fast to action caused Ironwood to sink fast and if they did not maybe he does not go full extreme in this fight only later.
HOLD UP A MOMENT. "The blinding eyes" "That burn a yellow flame" I always thought it was about Yang but it might be Cinder, the Fall Maiden's powers result in a yellow flame effect around the eyes

What could be the thing that falls that would be as impactful as the fall of Beacon. I have a feeling this time it won't be a fall just as a matter of speech, because this time, we have something that can actually "fall".
Atlas will fall.... and this song predicted it in season 3.
yep it did other parts of song mainly only refer to 8. And When I fall is clearly about end of 8 when I falls.
This is 2020 and beyond formed into a song. 100% accurate.
I think about this song monthly. Middle school me was right to make this shape my taste
Maybe *RED* s like roses
Their eyes are wide and *WHITE* like snow
Soon the moon is bathed in *BLACK*
That burn a *YELLOW* flame
How did I never notice this.
OMG
Yooo wait
"Maybe it's red like roses"
"Are wide and white as snow"
"Soon the moon is bathed in black"
"That burn a yellow flame"
Yooooooooo the lyrics tho
That moment when you've listened to every lyric video on your favorit lyric vid channel and your just like, Welp time to go around again.
I literally did that with this channel
Over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over...you get the point
So it's like so confirmed that Cinder is the one singing this right?
theamazingmaymay123 I think Salem to Ozpin. As hard as he tries to save the world, many will die in the process just because it’s his cause and no one else’s.
@@ozpin707 It's Cinder and or Salem. Salem's mindset might just be rubbing off on Cinder
it sounds like that, but being technical and pedantic, no, it isn't
2:19
Yeah pretty much
I have no idea how can anyone hate this opening
So this song foreshadowed the entirety of rwby didn't it
The lyrics of the song is not a coincidence.
RWBY
Red like roses, or maybe it's the pool of blood.
White eyes like snow, and mirrors that shatter by the weight of the world.
Black bathed moon, swallowed by darkness.
Yellow flames which, what ever embers remain, will light the fuse of condemnation.
Interesting observation, thanks for sharing.
Advanced 001 I couldn't agree with you more
Advanced 001 I couldn't have thought of this even if I wanted to
Usually the volume themes only convey the general theme of the Volume in question- for this and Volume 3, the message was "EVERYTHING IS BURNING!
But mirrors are actually green though
Yup. Noone gave this song a second thought. Until a Penny got turnt to 4 quarters :(
Meadowtraveller22896 you’ll have to watch in order to find out
Meadowtraveller22896 did you have to say that though?
Meadowtraveller22896 I didn’t know, that’s why I’m pissed
Meadowtraveller22896 not everybody is completely caught up with the show you idiot
I could be wrong here, but I think it's
_"Maybe _*_red's like roses!_*
_Maybe it's _*_a_*_ pool of blood,_
_The _*_innocents_*_ will lay in when in the end you fail to save them."_
I agree
Maybe it's red like roses -nod toward the pool of blood that would be red
Maybe it's the pool of blood -they are laying in a pool of blood, it's "the" because red like roses was nosing towards this
The innocent will lay in -innocents and innocent mean the same thing, they are both plural and honestly innocent works better here
I this of Phyra the whole time ;(
I think it is in fact suppose to be it's red like roses, but casey just flubbed that line.
What's that you say, the Intros song gets worse and worse?
I beg to differ.
@@bokura7627
Eh I rate them (from worst to best)
4, 5, 6, 3, 1, 2
With 1 and 2 being interchangeable for best one.
I think volume 4's opening was the worst out of all and the rest are all pretty epic.
@@yotess3872 okay it wasn't that bad
Have you seen attack on titan the best intro was the first all the others suck
Only one I didn't like as much as the others was Volume 2's for some reason, other than that, I agree they keep getting better amd better.
2:47 Is that a mouse clicking noise to play the backing track?
If you listen closely, this song basically foreshadows the season 3 finale.. (let's not forget in the s3 opening *where this song is used* pyrrha was the 1st in the cycle to let go..)
It's been 4 years and my favorite part about this song is that if you listen closely it's a call back to Red like Roses pt 1
It’s impossible to sit still listening to this
1:41 Kingdoms in tatters,
Volume 8 intensifies
This song works extremely well for volume 8 in the most heartbreaking way
I cannot deny that I have fallen in love with this song 😍.
I also like this song, due to it living up to it's name in volume 3.
May the one dislike fall.

1:22-*B*lake~black
1:31-*Y*ang~yellow
putting them in order spells the team name "rwby"
i love how the lyrics say their color in the form of poetry :3

Except for the fact that this song is wrong, Salem might not have forgotten about Ozpin's 'smaller soul' but I think she definitely underestimates it. There will be a hero who rises above, the question is whether or not she will *survive* her victory. Or if the price of saving the world will be her life.
At this point, I wouldn't put it past Roosterteeth.
A tragic hero set up to make the sacrifice like so many before her. A sad but fitting end, hopefully RT is feeling merciful.
Ker Dunne HA, miles and kerry have congratulated the crew on making grown men cry. i wouldn't hold my breath.
nah, I don't want a happy ending.
the best story is one where it makes you care, then tears it away, leaving you along, wishing that didn't happen.
didn't Oz already try that with Summer Rose? i'm not sure it will work
i mean, i still think that salem will be defeated, but it would be a great twist if Oz was kinda evil too, ya know
Josh Lovett then what would be the point of all that pain and suffering
Why would you want something like that
Best RWBY opening so far in my opinion
you guys wished for a dark volume and ya got one, rooster teeth reads all comments and takes it all into thought when making the next volume! i hope your happy, i did like the dark volume but.......
PENNY AND PYRRA DIIEEEEDDDDD *sobs in a corner*
The show was planned up to 8-10 volumes. Our comments had nothing to do with it. They still don't. What they do effect is the lighter aspects of the show. Jokes mostly.
Anastasia Cobaine they said from the beginning that each volume was going to get darker. pay attention
If you really think about it...... This is foreshadowing :/
all of the openings have essentially foreshadowed the volume they were created for. one of the reasons why I love RWBY is because the OST is all original content made for the show. none of the lyrics can be misread, each and every song has a purpose.
Yup, the song was pretty much just one big spoiler that nobody even thought about because of the fact that they didn't think it was a spoiler!
*goes to show you how much I pay attention to the openings....*
"Time to Say Goodbye" for v2-- "We can't just wait with lives at stake until they think we're ready" and even makes a cameo appearance in the v3 soundtrack as an acoustic version-- "were we born to fight and die? sacrificed for one huge lie? are we fighters keeping peace? or are we weapons pointed at the enemy so someone else can claim a victory?"
gives you lots to think about :3
OK, SO
I was listening to the RWBY soundtracks in class, and some asshole kid decided to unplug my earphones and steal my phone and turn it up to full volume. So, this song starts and he steals my phone and everyone is staring at him as the piano opening to this song starts and they're all like "Oh yeah, of course, the tiny girl is into classical music" (I'm 4'5) then they hear a deafening *MAYBE IT'S RED LIKE LIKE ROSES* and they're all staring at me now and needless to say I pulled a Nora on that kid.
r/thathappened
By pulling a Nora you mean hitting him in the face with a hammer right? >:3
An immediate “You sure about that, kid?”
Of all the things that never happened, this happened the least
LMAO
this song just MURDERS me every time i hear it and it reflects our times TO well. Thanks for all your work.
Well, volume 7 wraps up and it remains true to this song.
"Mirrors will shatter" Oz lies/schemes.
"Crushed by the weight of the world" Atlas & Ironwood.
"Pillars collapse" Foundations that had been built and maybe literally even the towers.
What may have yet to happen:
"The shining light will sink in darkness" Either hope, Ozpin, or even Ruby.
The last one happened now, together with "they play the part of allies, claiming peace their only goal", Ironwood's Speech in Ultimatum
Iron wood
Me: ok, one more time...
*breaks play bottom*
K Alarcon play bottom?? Did you rape it...

Still my favorite opening song of RWBY to this day. All hail the yet to be surpassed brilliance of V3. THAT was storytelling done right.
Rebel Fighter what about V2
FDN it was a good build up volume to the real action (minus the dance arc, ugh that was awful) in V3. 'No Brakes' and 'Breach' were pretty tight as far as fights go.
Man, coming back to these songs after the V6 finale...
"Kingdoms in tatters, hung on the brink of a war..."
I guess we were warned...
I love the link between "there'll be no hero in the end who will rise above" and church's speech from red vs blue about the hero not knowing whether his sacrifice made any difference.

It's so cool how the lyrics address each member of Team RWBY in a dark-edgy kinda way, 🔥
OH MY GOD IVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR THIS SONG FOR ABOUT 4 OR 5 YEARS
I just realized how much this fits the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers Infinity War
It fits anything dive bombing straight to hell while everyone is helpless and can only cover their own ass.
man. the FORSHADOWING IN THE MUSIC OF THIS SERIES is just next level. Or maybe I'm seeing things that aren't there.
"They play the part of allies
, claiming peace their only goal, but once the fight for power starts, they'll eat each other whole,
their iron gloves point fingers,
they'll wage a war of blame, and mankind will wilt in pain"
Ironwood extended his hand in friendship, but turned against them, blamed them for the events leading up to that moment and made everything MUCH WORSE.
This is what I'm thinking too.
I know this is a year old but there is also "and now they know the cost of trusting you is obliteration" could be about Ozpin hiding the fact that he has no way to beat Salem from everyone
The “fall” is probably the Fall of Beacon.
@@off-the-grounder568 Things only in 8 are in this song.

Idk how this song is controversial it actually fits the volume unlike volume 2. (Don’t get me wrong that song is a banger but it does not at all fit volume 2)
This song really fits Rooster Teeth as of late.
in my opinion, season 3 might have been the best season, even tho season 4 was awesome, i just absolutely LOVED the story and fights and characters in season 3
Volume 3 was the most dramatic, blood pumping change in tge narrative. It forced the characters into horrible situations and face tragedy upon tragedy. But looking at Volume 5 the worst is yet to come.
And now, that we're on the seventh season, the facts that this opening explains are happening again X'O
This song is suddenly making whole lot of sense for Volume 7 too
I might be slightly losing it but I can make (most definitely unintentional but still interesting) connections between some of the lyrics and... everything that just happened in Volume 9
initially i didnt like this op. like. at all
BUT now in retrospect its 1. a bop and 2. absolutely chilling with how well it fits for the plot of season 3

swallowed by the darkness, soon the moon is bathed in Black...
the blinding eyes that burn a Yellow flame...

But once the fight for power starts
They'll eat each other whole
Their iron gloves point fingers
They'll wage a war of blame
And mankind will wilt in pain."
Is it just me, or did this song predict Ironwood Vol7/8? There's no way they had this planned that far ahead.
I think they always planned Ironwood to go that path. I mean he already did questionable things in Vol 1-3, like snitching Ozpin to Beacon's council, claiming he didn't do enough and thus gained control of the entire tournament and Ozpin was planned to get fired from his position because of this (luckily he died before)
Also I think they said that when Monty died, he had already made detailed notes for the plot until Volume 9 and rough notes after that until the end.
This is the song of 2022 with what is happening rn.
HOLD UP A MOMENT.
"The blinding eyes"
"That burn a yellow flame"
I always thought it was about Yang but it might be Cinder, the Fall Maiden's powers result in a yellow flame effect around the eyes
It means Yang. It has the colour of each of the characters
Also, it's basically confirmed that the flames are either your aura colour or eye colour
This is still accurate for some events in volume 7. I also see Cinder singer this.
Introducing a friend to RWBY, first time hearing this intro she turned to me and said “yup. Things are gonna go south in this season.” She didn’t anticipate just HOW south it went tho, so apparently I’m still the sadist that’s tried not to give her any spoilers.
Now seeing volume 6, I think we all realize how much this relates to Ozpin... damn Salem, let the man live
