    Before the 11th century, the Khanda was the standard sword throughout India. I always thought it looked heavy and difficult to use, but this video has completely changed my perception of it.

    Very versatile weapon. Extremely subtle and fluid style. I notice the Master closes the distance immediately while going for the face (controlling the opponents attention and distracting him from his own attack). Bad-ass music, great video.

    Indian martial arts film. When is it coming out?
    Can the unarmed fighting be applied in mma? It would be good to see this pressure tested

      As soon as you can pull a blade in MMA, it will be tested. Otherwise, wrestling with long list of rules.

    • @preetjitsingh328
      @preetjitsingh328 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No; It cant be applied to MMA. Like TakeSunDo or real KraphMaga; these are lethal for war. They are meant to kill. Not Martial arts.
      Here, hit to groin is encouraged. Hitting knees to head, or aiming for jugular breaking of bones or back. All these are not for sport.

      @Amanderp Singh He is supported by the RSS but just because he promotes Indian arts . Secondly , Sikh martial arts are nothing but north Indian Hindu martial arts as Sikhs were just Hindus fighting against Islam nothing else but later they divided into two sects .

    • @gamingdragon1356

      @Amanderp Singh No Sikhs are Hindus , Guru Nanak was born on 29 November 1469 at Rāi Bhoi Kī Talvaṇḍī (present day Nankana Sahib, Punjab, Pakistan) near Lahore.[7][8] His parents were Kalyan Chand Das Bedi, popularly shortened to Mehta Kalu, and Mata Tripta.[9] His father was the local patwari (accountant) for crop revenue in the village of Talwandi.[10] His parents were both Hindu Khatris and employed as merchants.[
      Secondly , Sikh martial arts is nothing but Rajput martial arts which again are an amalgam of North and South Indian martial art . The whole point of Sikhism was to abolish caste to allow everyone to learn the way of the warrior as well as increase loyalty .
      Thirdly , Sikh fought not only against Hindu kings but Sikhs as well as such there was a war of succession among them after which they got divided as well as being the pawns of people who helped them recognized them as leaders of their clan .
      Fourthly , Hindus didn't kill Sikh gurus Muslims did . Again , the so called debate you call there is like cornering a solo man . Plz go read history .
