This is what truly smart and deadly fighting looks like. Sneaky, lethal, and efficient. Accepting and redirecting energy, not opposing it. I can see where Systema gets it's, "Drill" from. Also, much of the grappling and blending part of this is in Aikido.....which borrows much from Bagua....which I now see comes from this. Excellent presentation.

But malla yuddha is very deadly comparison to MMA,
Malla yuddha = MMA, krav maga, Filipino martial art, dumog, jiu-jitsu, muay thai, etc.
None of the stuff in the video will work in real fights let alone MMA

There's also something called musti yuddha, from Varanasi
@@b.m.5068 It's just general Indian terms for boxing and wrestling combat. What he teaches is the martial arts of the old Kshatriyas and Rajputs, which includes both the Malla Yuddha and Mushti Yuddha of the Kshatriyas.
The Mushti Yuddha of Varanasi or Mukki boxing is something completely different, unrelated to the Mushti Yuddha talked about in the ancient texts.

Indian-Govt must consider to learn China, Russia & USA about developing Martial-Arts tradition in India.
Indian-Govt must focus on introducing 3-types of Martial/Combat-Arts in Schools:-
(1) Grappling-Arts
(2) Striking-Arts
(3) Weapons-Arts => Demonstration & Sparring
Grappling-Art must be developed by merging these systems:-
(1) Freestyle Wreslting
(2) Greeco-Roman Wrestling
(3) Indian Wrestling
(4) Sambo
(5) Judo
(6) BJJ
(7) Aikido
Striking-Arts must be developed as a combo of:-
(1) Kalaripyattu => Adithada
(2) Kyokushin Karate
(3) Muay-Thai
(4) Lethwei
(5) Kickboxing
Punches & Elbows to head shouldn't be allowed for Children below 15-years of age.
Weapons-Arts must be developed by merging:-
(1) Kalaripayattu
(2) Shastra Vidya
(3) Kendo
(4) Escrima
Demonstrations can be done with Metallic weapons but Sparring must be done with Metallic or Plastic weapons.
The focus must be keep the Indian Martial-Arts tradition alive & yet modernize them as Sports.
This will not work against a Division 1 Wrestler. It wouldn't even work against a Muay Thai Boxer in the clinch.
These warriors have proved their worth since medieval times. Understand a war technique cannot be compared with sport or self defense technique
