    Great video for anyone who purchases the Kobra Plus printer. Helped me avoid mistakes in assembly given “holes” in the printed assembly instructions. Should be the default instructions from Anycubic. Thanks!

    Just got one of these, and your video helped with several tricky spots. I never even noticed the zip under the platter! The only problem i had was seeing where the hot end cable was going by the extruder(your hand was over it), but it did clarify that was where the sticker was to go(didnt see that at all, may be a new thing; a sticker saying clip here).

    Awesome video and I loved the video for calibrating the Viper. I saw that you have custom firmware for the viper. Have you released any firmware updates for the Kobra Plus which enables the linear advance feature by chance?

    Great review.
    Just purchased my first kobra plus and followed your setup. Could I ask you and everyone else a question? When adjusting the eccentric wheels on the build plate to eliminate wobble /movement should both left and right side wheels be gripping. I ask as I have eliminated any movement but the left side wheels are still really easy to move /hardly gripping.
    Any help you or anyone else can give me would be much appreciated 😉

    • @mmmmmmm8706
      @mmmmmmm8706 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thats how u want it i think. Just enough tension to barely turn the wheels by hand against the rail. Not so tight u cant turn the wheels by hand. At least for cnc machines thats how u want it.

    • @mmmmmmm8706
      @mmmmmmm8706 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nvmd, i dont think u can get it that tight. Sorry, dont take my advice.

    Anyone had any issues wih the temperature maybe not being true? I have PLA with specified temperature range of 205-220 that does really well at like 195, but if i put it at 205 i gets really stringy. Have not found any way to see if the reported temperature is actually true.

    • @studiozombie3d
      @studiozombie3d  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can use a laser thermometer to get a reading it can be tricky. But I've seen a number of units that do run a but hotter then reporting. One was 20 degrees hotter. It could be a faulty thermistor but I'm not positive. If you can adjust accordingly as long as it dosent have to be set to 170 or 175. They tend to trigger the extrude temp safety at that temp

    My wife bought me the Kobra Plus for Christmas. I've been watching videos on how to set-up/Prep and everything was going good until the print stopped halfway through the build (owl) and my screen went dark which I thought it was crazy because the fan was still blowing air. I've turned it on/off countless times, and nothing seems to pop up on the screen which stays black, but the fan continues to run. There's nothing on TH-cam or the internet about how to fix the problem. I'm really new to the space of 3d printing and I would really like it to work but it shouldn't be this hard to start up this brand-new printer. What is my option's? Has anyone seen this before? Thanks in advance 😀

    • @studiozombie3d
      @studiozombie3d  ปีที่แล้ว

      Try reflashing the printer firmware, drive.google.com/file/d/1bVmlbt4oOPd2X7dCumGjo-RugotpSi2t/view?usp=sharing
      See if that fixes it, you can also try connecting with pronterface and send m502 twice then m500 and power off and on that might fix it.

      @StudioZombie 3D thanks for responding. I found the problem late last night which was a loose ground wire on the motherboard. After I rearranged the wires and tighten everything down we were off to the races haha. My first print looks really good for very little adjustments. I found you on a TH-camr name 3DPUK. I'm subscribed to both of your guys Channels. Thanks for the content 🙏
