First off newbie to 3D printing and really like your videos. Need help, Anycubic says only way to do color change on printer is to hit pause on screen. I have tried filament change and pause at height, with no luck, it with stop for change then will not resume. Advice please!
Hi I like your video, I do have a question. Do you use PrusaSlicer or Cura with the Kobra Plus ? I tried to setup the printer setting on each but am still having a bit of trouble. is there any printer settings available for this printer that I may use. Thanks
I used Cura and it just worked for me, I’m sorry.
Wow, I will definately grab that model and print it myself for the Joe collection! If you can get CCT to make even more Joe busts like that, I will try to get a Saturn 2 later on so I can get started on resin prints :)

I am new to 3-D printing and I just got a cobra plus in the print quality is not coming out that good do you know what I can do? There’s a lot of stringing in some gaps between the layers
If you are having no issues with a mechanical part of your printing process, it's just your fault as an engineer. 3D printing is not plug and play. It's a complex tool.
So now it's your time to start changing dozen of parameters in your Slicer and doing prints, and changing parameters and doing prints .....
Wow, great models. Can you supply the slicer profile you used? The one that came with the Kobra Max did not yield results like these!
Hmm, I did use the profile I had for the Max. I'll look into it.
I use Cura’s CR10s settings (adjust the z to 350) and CHEPs profile settings.
Can I easily enough add a detachable magnetic flexible bed?
Could you actually print the bigger Surpentor on the Kobra Plus?

Anyone know how to get access to the motherboard? Why would you make this difficult? OK after further examination, there are no screws the bottom plastic plate just snaps on and off. I needed to access the board because one of the drivers is damaged. No luck with that I need a new board instead of a $5 driver. If you can't be bothered making decent boards then just use someone else's.

I find these "Kobra" plus and max series have quality control issues. I had the Kobra max and just returned it. Had issues with the extruder, bed scratching super easily, print head smashing into the print bed to the point where it bent terribly while trying to auto level, constant freezing issues. Went with an ended 5 plus instead.
Could you give us the cura profile that you used for the kobra max/plus?
In Cura, choose new printer - pick the Anycubic Vyper - then change dimensions for X Y and Z to either Max size or Plus size, then save. That's what I am using!

Right, so I have a serious issue. Im a big guy and Im very heavy handed. I had a jam in the feeding tube and had to pull it out. I've destroyed the little ring with teeth. What's the part called and how do I get a new 1?
If it's the thing that the tube goes into, that's called a Pneumatic Fitting! Just find the right sized one for your machine, and it can be replaced.
@@3DPrintingNerd I don't need to whole fitting, all I need is the ring with teeth that holds the pipe steady. If you take the hose out of the mega X you should see it

At 100% scale I don’t. At 200% scale I do :)
So I’ll just keep waiting for a bigger Kobra with direct drive and pei sheet. My Kobra kicks butt for the most part.

Here is the profile I used: In Cure 5, I chose new printer - picked the Anycubic Vyper - then changed the X Y and Z dimensions. That's it!

I am now on entry 10 of the #Kobralalalaplus competition of the remix model over on tiktok. My printer is currently flat-out printing my final 8 competition entries before the competition closes. Even though my printer is pretty robust, I have had it since 2015 but is starting to show its age. One thing I really would like to do is get hold of or get access to a belt printer to reprint the unique guitar I designed when I 1st had a printer
so basically its an anycubic vyper with a glass bed? :D
It's an Anycubic Kobra Max that's *slightly* smaller :)

YESSSSS!!!!! Was able to capitalize on the early bird launch special and got my order in this morning at 9am for the Kobra Plus!!! Now, I'm (im)patiently waiting for shipment and delivery. I have 2 CR-6SE's that are modded out to the max, pretty much, besides extending the frame and a flex steel bed (the glass is awful and falsely advertised); and I'm growing bored of them. Mind you, they are tanks now and prints circles around most stock printers, but I'm excited about the Kobra's advertised print speed. Can't wait to see how it performs, and ya never know; maybe one of the cr6, or both, gets a for sale sign put on it/them and a second or third Kobra plus or Max will be bought!!! Creality's quality control and customer service has been really lacking, and this is an awesome opportunity ANYCUBIC to capitalize on with this sexy line up of machines, at amazing prices!!
Anycubic has worse quality control than Creality.

Is it just me or printing settings aren’t really optimal? You can see the infill on the magsafe stand print.. If Joel would’ve tuned his settings properly we would get a much better view of the printer’s capabilities..
The problem here is I had very little time to show off what I could with this machine, and being sponsored by Anycubic I had a timeline to meet. I know with the Quantum it is easier to see the infill through the side, and had I adjusted further I could have got that to disappear. I really wish I had more time for this one but I just didn’t. I plan to keep using it and hopefully answering anyone’s questions.

hmm Kobra is DD and the rest of kobra are bowden...and vyper are bowden..hmm..thought vyper series would be bowden and kobra dd..but seems its not :P
I really don't know why Anycubic went that route. Both seem to work really well though.
So basically Anycubic made it a little bigger and took away the flex plate... but it's still just a renamed Vyper. Why are you excited about this? They should have used their new directdrive and bed leveling. This is such a sham.
Nah, they took the Max and shrunk it ever so slightly.

@@3DPrintingNerd The model is great, have it printing tonight. Thank you for that. I agree, they just shrunk the max... Which itself shouldn't have been the Kobra Max, it should have been the Vyper Max. I know why they did what they did... Marketing and profits. This way they sell this line and then they will finally introduce the next Gen Vyper as a new snake... It will be a full size version of the base Kobra.
It's like when a battery company compares their newest to their previous, essentially saying the previous wasn't good enough and the newest won't be good enough in a year either.
Other than Prusa, Anycubic was the only bed slinger printer company I buy and am excited for their next Gen. They missed the boat on the Plus. The Kobra is a slightly larger mini and the max is the successor to the Chiron. The plus and max should not be part of a new line where they made real improvements but failed to put them on either. Just my 2cents... Worth a quarter bc of inflation
Anycubic has not yet released the source code of this printer breaching the GPL v3 open source license. This affects us as owners by limiting upgrades of our printers and having less 3rd party developers making new better parts. While they refuse the release of the source code i would not recommend this printer.

Ngl I'm lokey getting tired of all these cline Ender 3 reviews.. like yea they have one or two new features but bed slingers are just outdated...
Please do more CoreXY and cube style printers like the Bambulabs X1 and stuff those are actually worth buying in 2022

sorry, but the results don't look that good. Does exactly the same as any other printer. There is no new innovation and a reason to buy this one.

Um… are you sure? S1 has removable bed, is direct drive, and does auto leveling with a cr touch. This has glass bed, is Bowden, and levels with nozzle touch.
