- In this video I am showing you guys how to charge 6 batteries with your Schumacher multi battery charger. This charger does 72 volts which is 6 batteries, all I do for safety is take off the wires that run from your batteries to your solenoids. Connect your negative clamp to the battery that you hook up your ground to and you're positive clamp to the last battery to the positive terminal. This charger is very well known in the lowrider Community the model number on it is SE 1072. Thanks for watching! Keep on Lowriding!
All you got to do is put the ground on the first battery and the positive on the 6 battery unplug the quick connect to make sure there's not touch you'll be fine no need to disconnect everything just saying good video
I love what you're doing on your channel! Much Respect from ManCaveTv and INTEGRITY Car Club!!
ManCaveTV
Thank you
How do we know when it’s fully charged my multi charger shoots to the 0
Thanks for teaching me how to charge the batteries
You don't have to unscrew anything....once the ground is disconnected nothing is live. When you keep unscreewing eventually the screws going to strip from the inside of the battery then its no good...and always use a fully automatic battery charge because you will extend the life. The multi charger he is timing it so you don't really know if they got a full charge or not.So if 1 or 2 didn't get charged like the others then your straining the other batteries.I have batteries in my lincoln from 2007 & still hold full charge
Matthew Kline
My way works for me and i haven't had any issues, im not forcing anyone to do it my way.
LowLows & More! Yah I used to do it like you too when I had 14 batteries but learned from MY mistakes so just trying to spread the nolige

b boy luda
I will soon, thanks for the suggestion
Awesome thanks bro
Thanks
just looked at your how to charge multiple batteries video. your battery charger needle is pointing at the #4 what # does the needle have to point when its a complete charge??
Quick question and most likely a really dumb question...WHERE DOES THE OTHER END OF YOUR QUICK DISCONNECT GO TO??kinda new to the hydraulic stuff
Eric Villasenor
Its bolted to the frame as a ground. Once u hook then together the batteries are turned on.
LowLows & More! So one end is on the negative side and the other end is just bolted to the frame ..that simple?
Eric Villasenor
That is correct.
LowLows & More! Thanks bro ..keep up the great hydraulic videos 👍🏼
Eric Villasenor
Thanks
I use the DSR PRO SERIES 8 BANK CHARGER
I'm confused why do you have hot and ground linked?
Hey had a question what's the name and model of that multi-charger you have I want to look one up so I can buy with myself
They are discontinued, it is a Schumacher SE 1072
@@lowlowsandmore do you have any recommendations for something similar
@@bboyluda2897 I dont at the moment, I see people using the 8 bank battery charger that black magic sells
How often you have to charge them? Is there a way to check ?
Depending how old they are and how often you use them, I say charge them once every week. If you dont use them then charge them once every other week.
@@lowlowsandmore thanks for your reply. I'm new to all of this and have tons of questions. I know people who know but they expect you to know what they know haha watching videos I'm already going crazy by how every person suggests to do things different than others.
What to do in order o raise the rear if my batteries are dead for the rear switches,is there any way to jump it just to get the back raised
Bro I have a small set up 3 batteries 2 pumps and when my shit goes out of power I have a cables from my main battery that ran for a system about 8+ gage in thick and just make sure your car is running have someone ram your car to 2500 rpm and just tap positive on pump fast dont leave it just tap,tap
One more thing what kind oil is good for the pump what do u recommend
I like to use pennzoil 5-30 motor oil.
ive always used hydraulic oil, i have older gears from the late 80s on some reds blocks and i use aw-46 hydraulic oil from o'Reillys. you should use hydraulic oil but guys use motor oil cuz its cheaper and works fine. sucks when you have a leak and there goes your money.
What batteries do you recommend?
For just a lay n play u can use any 31 group battery, for hopping use the 31 group batts that are above 1000cca
LowLows & More! What’s the best budget lay and play batteries
I got 8 batteries how do I hook it up the way it n the video bro what battery do I use
Can u run a extra alternator and run the batteries to it, so they stay charged while running
Look up somthing called a street charger
Why cant we use solar pannels
I used to use a 2ftX2ft solar panel back in the day to charge them 1 by 1.
Where did you get your charger
I bought it through a friend that works at a auto parts store but these chargers are now discontinued though.
I managed to find a brand new 1072 that a dude in California was selling. Got it for 240
How long should I charge 2 batteries on a 4 battery setup?
Tim Deboer
They will fully charge in 5 to 9 hrs depending how drained they are.
@@lowlowsandmore How long should i charge a hydraulic battery on a single battery charger
@@barbarahernandez6264 for at least 7 hours each one.
do they still sell this charger or whats the replacement of this charger? thanks
They dont sell this one anymore, theres no replacement for it.
Where can i buy a multi charger
Honestly bro I'm not sure where any more. They discontinued the one I have.
What was the far battery on the right for? It wasn't in the series?
Nothing, that one was dead.
I just bought the same multi battery charger. Needle moves to the right when batteries start getting charge mine stays at 0
Where did u get it at
I got it on eBay for $700 cause you can’t find them anymore I actually just bought another one nd I got them both in working condition one just had a blown fuse
La Raza made the first HYBRIDS
I have a four bank charger do I need to disconnect all batteries
I have total of 8 batteries on my set up
All u need to do is take off the wire that connects #4 and #5 together and that way u can charge 4 batteries at a time. In this video I showed how I do it on my own ride. Most of the stuff I disconnected can stay on.
LowLows & More! So the soneloids don’t need to be disconnected or the switch power wire
No, that's how I do it though. Just make sure that the ground isnt connected
Thanks bro just got my set up done still getting use to it again
No problem bro
Where in Oregon are u?
Did they discontinue the Schumacher SE 1072 charger, it seems like it?
I think they did
@@lowlowsandmore They sell them on Ebay only, $599 with tax and delivery. Is it worth it?
Thanks!
I only paid $180 for mine brand new last year. Not worth it unless you buy the 8 bank charger.
@@lowlowsandmore 8 bank seems too complicated and run more expensive.
The 10bank battery charger by battery tender is the best
Where can I get a battery charger like that trying to look What is it called
These are discontinued
@@lowlowsandmore Do you recommend something like that
I feel charged up.
If I’m charging six batteries in series and one of the batteries won’t charge, will the remaining five batteries charge?
Great video to bad I'm on bags now
esa tweety ese shadow lokote x3
Dang thats too bad
Bags are for putas esa
How do i charge 3 batteries
Sparky brown
For three batteries make sure they are wired by series like they already are, disconnect the ground wire from the first battery and the power wire from the 3rd battery and also as a precaution diconnect the 24v power wire for ur switches. Hook up the ground clamp to the 1st battery that gets grounded and the red clamp to the positive terminal to the last battery. Put your charger at 36v and charge on slow, which is either 2 or 5amps depending on your charger, do not fast charge or use 10amps, that will mess up your batteries.
Ok thanks i have the same charge as u
To slow
Dammm i live in a appartment how can i recharge my battery ?
Nevermind ill just buy air bags
