If there were more people like you, this world would be so different! You truly are a beautiful soul... I'm sure he will live the best years of his life ❤
How happy and lucky he is. He has home, walks, nature, food, his own bed, loving owner - everything a dog could dream about. I have 13 YO German shorthair pointer and I love her.
Beautiful sweet boy. Congratulations to you both for finding each other and many happy years ahead. Thanks for highlighting the amazing work of your charity and the volunteers for all the other poor babies who need a home ❤
Very nice story….thanks for adopting an older dog…. It’s so important to have stories like this so other people realize how special it is to adopt an older dog!
I lost my beloved dog last year and wasn't interested in another any time soon. When I saw a German Shepherd on death row, I had to adopt him. So, I understand your delight in rescuing your new dog. Mine is listed at 7 years old and is large, not a favorable description. I so wish people would adopt older dogs. They are more settled and responsive.
Coming from Serbia where we have similar problems I completely understand how difficult it must be to take care of abandoned animals. I hope the small donation helps.
How wonderful that you rescued him! Tears started flowing when you said you saw the shooting star, sign from Odie just before meeting him & when you put his collar on, and seeing him run free... 💓 amazing !!! I am so happy for both of you!!
Okay....thanks a lot Marina, for making me cry today! What a transformation! He went from being scared--with his tail tucked tightly underneath--to the tail being released into joyful wagging. It didn't take long for him to feel the love ♥ His heart has "opened like a clam"...thanks to you♥
I have such respect for you, a TRUE animal lover to consider the dogs needs above your own and adopt an 'oldie' knowing you will have a shorter time with them. He has really landed on his feet with you!
I cried so many happy tears for this, Marina! So glad you found eachother. Vongola is a lucky dog! And it's amazing to see how quickly he got comfortable with you 😍 You both deserve a world of love together
Genuinely cried when you said the shooting star was Odie. I'm so happy you both found each other Marina! You said he's your Clam, but the way he sits on you says that you're his Marina ❤.
This brought me to tears, happy and sad for those other poor dogs. He is blessed to have you, you are a wonderful person!! Thank you for being so kind to him!!🥺
How wonderful, Marina! I‘ll donate something, thank you for telling us all about these kind people. My last dog, Tosca, sent a rainbow just as I was turning into the place to get my new boy. I had thought aloud, I wonder if she minds, then I looked up and saw the rainbow in that moment. Here‘s to happy clams ❤❤❤
I am so happy for you both. I have a soft spot for old dogs too. Weakness for those grey muzzles. Last year I adopted an old girl but we didn't have much time together. She was a sweet soul.
You two look...happy as a clam. My daughters families dog of 19 yrs passed just before Christmas, a Jack Russell my Grandson named Holling. They just last week adopted a puppy, they named him Jack. I had him outside a few days ago, he ran around looking happy as a clam, it was like he felt he was home. His entire family including his mom had been adopted. So 6 of them disappeared, it was so heartwarming to see he is now a really happy boy.
Beautiful video, brought tears to my eyes seeing him finally finding so much love and a forever home ❤❤❤ I adopted a much younger dog from southern Italy, it's just so sad that so many dogs spend their lives in shelters or on the streets 😢
Congratulations on your new baby!!!! I am so so happy for you. I was a pet/housesitter for years and was trained for special needs pets. My absolute favorites were my senior puppies and kittens. I never cared how they smelled, how bad their breath was, how much they snored, how deaf or blind they were. They were just the sweetest and most lovable. There is such an emotional depth to them it defies all logic and explanation. They have taught me a lot about being a human... imagine that!
Wish there were many more people in the world like you Marina. You have all of your priorities in life worked out you grab them. I’m always totally in awe.
Marina you are such a good soul ❤ so nice of you to give the old dog a home. I adopted a shelter dog from Spain and had her for 9 wonderful years, she was so special. It breakes my heart though, the problem with so many stray dogs especially in Southern countries seems not ever come to an end😢....
Finally, not a foster but an adoption!!!!!!!!!!! I know the feeling of having the best dog that has ever existed (for me). I loved all the fosters immensely and hope they stuck with their forever family and are all well. Love to have an update. I’m happy for you.
Marina, my heart has just melted ❤....it was meant to be, and as for the shooting star...definitely sent from Odie 🐶..wishing Clam a very happy life with you as his human 🥰
How precious ❣❣😺 he's so sweet. Love his name,Yes-Happy as a Clam, your so loving to adopt an older dog. Thank you for loving him and giving him a loving home. 👍😊😺⚘👍❣❣❣
Awww Marina, he's wonderful, you've a heart of gold and you're both so lucky to have each other. He really does look happy as a clam, and so at ease in his new home. He knows he's loved!
This world is full of pain and injustice for so many. I am glad there are stories, people and dogs who renew my faith in humanity. Thank you for sharing your stories and thank you for rescuing Vongole. He looks like a healthy and happy boy. I hope you have many years together.
What a beautiful video you put together. 🫠 The ending...seeing the two of you snuggled, content, at peace. So happy for you both and happy for me because I get to look forward to seeing the two of you together now. ....and did I hear you say boyfriend driving??? Or did I not understand what was said. 🤭
Yes, he's definitely "Happy as a Clam"! I think it's also fitting, bc it's like he's coming out of his clam shell. You're both so lucky to have one another! He's got to feel so happy to run free and have human companionship. Bless you both and thank you for loving Senior dogs! 😘🤗😍🥰♥️🐾🐾
Good on you mate!! Nice of you to choose a senior dog when there were so many others available. You are so lucky, because he looks and acts like such a love! Of course there are always adjustment with any pet in the beginning. In Gratitude for your kindness, and for your new dog's patience and good spirit...., and here's to you guys having lots of fun and much love ❤
Beautiful adoption (thank you for him) and huge bravo to all those people who work in shelters and try to give back a little love and a lot of their time to these poor abandoned loulous...
He has certainly finally fallen on his feet in finding such a wonderful new life in your home. What a wonderful video showing his transformation from being nervous and scared to being relaxed and happy in his new surroundings. Looking forward to watching plenty more videos of you both enjoying your life together. All the very best..Mike
I love you, precious soul! You deserve the best life ever and now you are living it! Thank you for adopting him! And much gratitude and love to the shelter, and volunteers for your endless hard work and dedication to these beautiful souls. 💕🙏💫🌠🌌🙏🙏

You truly couldn't make a better decision Marina. May Yahuwah Almighty bless you and your precious doggie. You are such a wonderfully beautiful person inside and out Marina. Greetings from North Alabama, United States. ❤❤❤❤
I only wish for all the other shelter dogs to get so lucky to find a home with humans like you. Shelters are such frightening places. I really wish there were breeding restrictions. You’re doing great and wonderful things,
Glad you found a new rescue. You have so much love to offer these canines and you can see that they in return loved you. Looking forward to see future videos of the 2 of you and the adventures you take in life.
It is so hard to let another soul into your heart when you lose your soulmate. I lost my Netherland dwarf rabbit Jasmine, 4 years ago. I have looked recently, but l know l am not ready, and my life isn't stable enough to be a responsible owner to my pet at the moment, as a carer for an ageing mother. Thank you Dear Jesus For Helping Animals In Need.
Or better still Thankyou to this wonderful young woman and forget about platitudes to some imaginary guy floating in the sky...
Jesus ? When did he step in a rescue anything ever
This wonderful lady did
Thank her dude

The luckiest senior dog, gets out of jail and gets to run and play. So cool to see a senior dog get adopted. Good job and enjoy!
