I love when schools have a daycare for the teen parents on campus I love how they don’t judge because you never know how they got pregnant. I just love when people support pregnant teens, but not teen pregnancy
We had a daycare at our high school, but it was a regular daycare. I guess if someone did have a baby, their child could go there, but it was only for toddlers
Jamie is.more mature than most adults I know, her daughter is a lucky girl she's a great mom even at this age

This was one of my favorite episodes. Jamie’s a sweetheart and one of the most responsible moms on the show, and it’s clear that she tried to do her best. As she mentioned, so many of the men in her life let her down, and you could see her hurt. Her father was an utter and complete dud, and he had a lot of nerve to be upset at her when he was never involved in raising or nurturing her. It never sat right with me how he brought his wife and her half-brother to a meeting between him and his daughter; that had nothing to do with them and it showed just how little he prioritized their relationship.

I cut off all contact with both my parents. I have been on my own since I was 15. I'm now 39. I do not and have never regretted my decision to cut them off. They were alcoholics and physically abusive. I'm better off without them.

My sister went back to work 5 days after giving birth. She didn't have maternity leave. At that time her boyfriend got laid off , so he stayed home with the baby. She was gone 8-10 hours out of the day. So yeah babies can be away from their mother. This girl had a right to do what she did though.

@@claraesparza7030 I'm sorry if this is a personal question, but did your sister pump enough milk for her baby? Sometimes, depending on the mom, they can't produce enough milk in one setting, and that is the case with Jamie.
Also, keep in mind that Ryan is completely irresponsible -- he was charged with underage drinking, he had his driver's license suspended because of that, and he was cheating on Jamie while she was pregnant. Those are all reasons why she can't trust him to be with her. Normally, I am against the idea of mothers using their children to spite the other parent, but in this case, it was necessary because Ryan was so messed up. He showed up to the hospital hungover before his daughter was born, which proved that he wasn't ready to be a responsible parent.

Jamie is a very outstanding young mother. I am very proud of her. I am sorry that things went the way they did. He has a lot of growing up to do. Even if he gets visitations it should be supervised . I would not trust him at all. I feel sorry for her knowing she will have to share a child with him. sending prayers and lots of hugs.
He expects to take his daughter without its mother the second it's born that's just insane to me! Then saying you're keeping me from my daughter, just because he can't leave with her.

This is my favorite episode because Jamie was getting it together for herself and her daughter I love this show my favorite season was season two and three I watched mostly the whole show and what was gonna happen next.

Exactly! they eat every few hours. Unless if she pumps he has no way to feed her but honestly I don't blame her for being uncomfortable leaving their baby alone with him bc he can't even seem to stay sober. What he does in his free time is his business but you can't be inebriated caring for a baby.

Ok so this mother doesn’t live with her daughter in high school. She lives at her boyfriend’s. Now I hear her actually asking her daughter how she’s getting to a doctor appt. There’s always a huge group of reasons why teens get pregnant. The parents not truly explaining how birth control works. Moms being in their daughters lives goes a long way. I know babies are a blessing but if you are a mother who doesn’t want your daughter getting pregnant at 16, hang out with her. Her friend along with her mother at this point ❤
To me it sounded like he was blaming her for going to labor. I’ve been up three days oh for you no you’re about to be a dad. You ain’t gonna get much sleep anyway get used to it.

I always felt bad for her. She fell in love with an idiot. And what does he mean wow? He wasn't there he was barely even there he was out cheating on her and he didn't even care to ask her how she was doing, how was she feeling, is the baby okay, etc. He just doesn't get it.

If any father wants to see his baby, he needs to come see his baby. In any capacity. Period. I’ve witnessed it in many capacities. If a guy can’t be mature enough for his baby, that’s it.

@@DogGran yes way. She had an abortion about a year after Maia was born and then went on to have a son with him after that. Then she married someone else and had another son in 2018 but her more recent Instagram posts make it seem like she's divorced now

Exactly!!! He wanted to be around HIS family, not completely alone. He wasn't demanding, he was asking and she was using every excuse in the book. I understood the baby was too young but she could have said "in a month or so we can revisit this and come up with a visitation plan for you and your family"
