Janet and Eddy are literal angels for taking Kail under their wings and helping her out no matter what regardless of what Jo did, because they knew she was family forever, that she was gonna be the mother of their grandchild ❤ the way they talked to her was always so respectful and gracious, very wonderful parents
On the flip side though.. people would say why would they allow teenagers to live together, to move in with their son and stay in a room with him. I think that's how she got pregnant by living together. It's odd that most people would condemn parents who allow that but somehow Jo's parents are saints. Just sayin'..
They were great parents and it was wonderful that they took her in, but I don’t think they were always fair to Kail. I’m not sure if I believe their love was unconditional for her the way it is for their son… and I get that she’s not their bio child or their child at all.. and all parents make mistakes, so I can’t fault them entirely.. but I see some things they did or said and think man, with all Kail was going through I bet that felt invalidating, hurtful, anxiety inducing, etc.
Looking back on this again after all these years, I think that Joe's parents were some of the most supportive best parents that aired on the show. Usually the guy's parents are defensive and on the guy side, but they actually seem to be on the side of doing the right thing
I agree, Kailyn was so lucky to have them at that time. Her mom was so terrible to her. Most women hope for in laws like Jo's parents. Janet was the best.

I feel like the reason Kail is the way she is is because of her parents. Her father was completely absent from her life, her mother acted more like Kails rebellious daughter instead of her mother. She had nobody to turn to and everyone kept leaving. So, she has multiple kids with different men she loved at one point so they would never completely leave her. She’s trying to fill that hole from her childhood with men by having babies with them. It’s very sad, but understandable
Spot on! I can relate to Kail a lot and that’s why I admire her she’s a true inspiration! I had 4 kids by 4 different men! I have no mother or father that supports me that I’m close to. My parents and I don’t speak, only person I can rely on is my partner, we have our issues but he is there for the kids and 3 of my kids aren’t biologically his and he takes on the role of their dad so I’m grateful for that 🙏🏾 I wish my parents were there for me.
At the same time, Kailyn also proved to herself and her kids that she's far better than her parents -- she graduated from high school AND college, plus she has a successful career. Not only were they fun to watch but they were relatable and helped other ppl cope with similar situations and not all of us can afford to update our television providers all the time. These shows helped me alot I feel bad girls now are watching chick's pop n lock it on tik tok and learning how to make a loving on only fans. Bring back real ppl

What I can’t understand about this program is that in most episodes neither of them show any excitement at all about becoming parents and yet they decide to keep the pregnancy going, as if they had no other option.
