Bentley and his dad have a relationship now. It’s complex, but his father has attempted to make amends and Bentley has been surprisingly mature for his age about the whole situation. I’m glad he has a very supportive mom and stepdad.

I was 16 when I watched it the first time. Maci and I are the about the same age, and I had a boyfriend at the time. This actually helped me a lot, it made me think having a kid could happen to us if we didn't get protection. I am so thankful I watched it and we both decided to be more careful, and I started with the pills. So there you go. This show helped me and I know that it helped a lot of young girls too.
She became a very successful woman on her own. She's now married to an amazing guy ,has more children. He is an addict unfortunately. Married an enabler for his drug use and he is now in and out of prison. Barely there for his kids. So sad
My husband and I had our first at 19 I have been so blessed and I really do mean blessed because I know a lot of parents have to be 2 parent household single parent household’s working two jobs to make ends meet that being said, I have always promised my children something they have babies I will be a free daycare. Daycare can run an excessive amount which is just crazy to me so when my kids become parents, they will not have to worry about paying for daycare.
When she called her mom and asked if she could come home and her mom said no... that's your CHILD lady. She's only 16/17, and you signed up for 18 years minimum. What a terrible mother. I am sure that made Maci stay with him for longer than she should've. This is how girls get taught to stay in abusive relationships
I'm already 30 but I know if I ever called my mom and asked her if i could come home, she would have said yes. No questions asked until I get home. I'm 100% sure mom would have been rushing to pick me up if I was 16/17 and in that situation.
Maci reminds me of Chelsea ( mum to a little girl called Aubrey, in a different season). They both have supportive but honest parents who offer love, support and advice, even if they are divorced like Chelsea’s, they are on the same page. Chelsea is one of the ones who did well for herself, she dumped the deadbeat dad of her child ( Adam, I think), got her GED/high school diploma, maybe even uni, just focused on her future and her kid then ended up with someone decent and had some more children with him.
