So the ‘crawler edition’ can bash and has speed? I’m so confused, trying to find what mamba x motor esc combo I need for bbz bb-01 to just bash and off-road in a nice build but castle have so many variations!
Whats your setup? The 2400KV is better suited for trigger happy bashers, sure this motor is great when used for what it was engineered for. In your video you hinted its good for bashing aswell.
Thank you for this vid -- it helped me decide which ESC/motor combo to go with in my Rock Rey kit, and I love it! I went with the 2850kv motor. Had the same problem at low speed on the baja rey

Give castle a call or email them and ask what think. Best way to get the right motor combo for your rig.

This motor isn't made for bashing, I burned mine up on the first day (12T) 3s lipo. The 2400KV with sensor wire was suggested to me by Castle

I'm running the 1406-2850KV motor on 3S in the video and it's working great. I haven't had any over heating issues or any problems yet.
