  • Badminton GRIPS - Forehand, Backhand, Bevel and Panhandle. MUST LEARN all 4 grips. In badminton one of the key elements to learn is the grips, the forehand grip, the thumb grip, the bevel grip and the panhandle grip also called the hammer grip in some places. In this tutorial I will show you all 4 badminton grips, and show you some different shots where I use the grip. Start with the forehand grip and the backhand grip. It is also important to look at how you use the wrist and the forearm rotation, in order to add power in most shots.

very good video ! Very usefull ! But It would be interesting to have the same video with 2 things to help beginners more :
    1) put a different color on every edge on the racket to easily differenciate them with the eye. It could help the spectator to see better how you really hold the racket.
    2) Get a slightly larger angle with the video so that we can see a bit of the head of the racket. It also helps the begginers to see better.

Hai Badminton Famly and Thomas Layborn! This channel has no doubt helped me improve my badminton for the last 7-8 months! I have a suggestion for this video, it would be nice if you could show the racquet face as well when changing grips. Now in the video, we can only see the shaft. If you could show the racquet face as well, we will get a better understanding of it! Thank you! Love from India!

The way you handle forehand is more like neutral grip which cause the player to slice the shot (which is a totally different shot) rather than straight smash or overheads.
