Praful comes across as a transactional but harmless, gentle politician. He is here and he was there!! But it is remarkable that he stuck to Pawars for such a long time!! He seems to be doing well in his own business but he effectively killed both Air India and Indian Airlines ( though he happily shifts the blame to Pranab da and adds one more item to Pranab's 'glorious legacy' !!) And he is doing fine in politics too- then and now!! 2. It seems grabbing some position is the objective in itself- like Pawar wanting to be the PM but what was his agenda? his capacity? his vision? This impression of mine from before stands vindicated in this conversation. Sanjay Raut should take notes.

It is cruel joke on former Air India employees by this corrupt man- they were made second class employees in their own company, some lost their jobs and livelihood, others were forced to quit and others were made to accept positions which were for lower in the merged organisation ( with Indian airlines) The aircraft orders, when he was a minister and kickback received, - evidence was found but so far no prosecution of this man . Biggest failure of BJP government is failure to prosecute the people involved in buying far more than required number of aircrafts and merging two different airlines which were culturally and economically poles apart , destroying national airline etc The current government has a duty to explain the sale of Air India to public, the loss incurred, the plight of ex-employees who are without agreed health care, pensions and other benefits. It is a lesson how not to divest a government asset! Hope this model is not followed in future divestment of public sectors
