    I' had carpal tunnel that disfigured my right hand for over 25 years. Short of surgery I've tried every chiropractic, accupuncture/pressure/physical therapy. I started these shoulder exercises of yours 4 wks ago and have total use of my hand. No kidd'n

      Glad to hear these have helped I have just stumbled across this video and keen to try them. I also have a disfigured right hand due to a "boxers fracture" iv had for 10years or more which seems to have weakened my wrist, forearm, bicep , tricep and shoulder. Is it just your shoulder that's been affected or did you have similar symptoms to mine? Be great to hear and know how your doing now

    Just started the sport of boxing, and I've had an old shoulder issue from when I was lifting more. This really helped. I went from icing my shoulder at the end of every time I put on the gloves to, well healthy as an older fighter can be. Thanks so much for this.

    With the last exercise; when you said you push against the wall, do you push with your whole body or just your arms? Because logically I'm thinking it's just with your arms as you're working your shoulders, but I overlook things at times, so I just need clarification.
    Thanks.

    My jabbing arm's shoulder gets tired really easily compared to my right its really annoying sometimes it gets to the point where i can't even keep my left arm up cause of the fitigue. • @tokr72
      @tokr72 7 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Your jab arm shoulder is probably jammed up. Grab a dumbbell, bend over so your backs in neutral, or lay face down on a table, and let your arm hang holding the weight in hammer grip. swing it gently side to side. This should help unlock it.

    I usually wake up every fucking day with pain that goes from my hand/elbow to neck/ears/forhead on my right side and itll get numb I wake up in a state of panic because it throws my whole equilibrium off but ive realised its somewhat "normal" and can be fixed in 10-20 minutes with these type of exercises, dont rush a chiropractic dont rush all this medical bullshit thats going to take your money and leave you waking up with the same problems, Ive learned to just to it my fucking self instead of believing that im fucked. but it can get so bad I dont want to touch anything because I think its just making things worse.

    Working the shoulders is good to a point. It will protect you from rotator cuff injuries but in terms of power that’s really something you’re born with. Also you’re legs are almost more important than you’re shoulders for a knockout punch, you wanna brace both feet in the proper stance and take you’re power from the floor. People with bone thudding shots have high fast twitch muscle fiber count accompanied by max muscle leverage placement within the body itself.

  • @erikbritz9425
    @erikbritz9425 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    i have a Decent punch BUT i tore up my rotator cuffs bad and my wrists have been broken multiple times aswell and thats the two Big places i lose power my technique is decent but ive seen the Top few places you lose punching power is 1.)shoulders and shoulder assisting muscles i.e rotator cuff & romboids,serratus anterior 2.)Wrists if your wrists buckle under pressure you lose alot of power 3.)hand muscles and hand strength most people have weak hand strength now your fist gets harder the more you clench your fingers together which means less chance of broken bones and more but if you improve all your hand strength i feel you can unlock more power from your hands now also you need to harden your knuckles it doesnt help you have soft bones with power for you will pull your punches due to pain

    Its all the connections from toe amd ball of foot all the way to ur knuckles. I bet a lot more benefit from boring doing all the little routines on all the joints. Than just going for a run, especially if not a kid and ur already fully grown. PS what do u think of those head straps with elastic balls? I did it and would just pulse my heals of the punching hand and after a few minutes felt full body connection from ball of foot to knuckles. Felt like a real full body motion like golf. Felt really good, I forget what I did before this cause next time I did it was hard to get that sensation. I think i did this type of routine I got from somewhere else.

    I've always noticed my technic goes all shitty and lose power and speed when I've spent time doing weights and neglecting my striking! No surprise there but can u do a video of weight training gaining muscle and keeping good boxing form.

    Hi JT Van V! You have just let unclear how much force it's necessary. 1. little /none 2. natural/basic 3. a little of extra force 4. All you can force 5. More than you can!
