I love the videos and I haven't complained so far, but damn it gets infuriating to watch after a while lol.

Hay guys just so you know that the good metal nodes are very limited in this game so the best way to get metal is to actually tame a duncly as it harvest metal from rocks and the entire ocean is filled with rocks so duckly is one of the best way to get metal in this game . Specially if you play PvP and good metal area are captured by big tribes you can have good metal with takin huge risk by loosing your tames .
Those guys will probably become relevant again.

One change I think is underrated is the new sounds everything makes and the way they interact with the environment. Sneaking through the forest or swamp on foot and hearing so many crazy noises is awesome and is probably one of my favorite changes.

Torpor running seems to have become torpor wandering, at least sometimes. I've noticed this both in my own single player and on several other creators videos.
If that's now intended behavior of the new AI, I am all for it. Like how good are you gonna be at running away when you're high as a kite?!
That part always really bothered me. Like, how the hell are you cognitive enough to be sprinting away from me? Try doing that next time a doctor puts you under lol. Running away from a colonoscopy like “NO MY INTESTINES ARE SHY!!” and faceplant before you can reach the door

Your bringing up the Sarco's stats reminded me of something I was thinking about that I haven't seen mentioned or covered anywhere yet: do creatures overall end up with better stats now? With movement speed levels being disabled by default, does that mean that there are no wasted points? Or do creatures still end up with them anyway? I know that fliers typically don't suffer from wasted points (aside from Oxygen) because of the same change from years ago.
You are correct. This means that creatures that don't t have an oxygen stat will relieve better stats from taming
Thats actually a really good point, I wonder if the levels DO indeed go into other stats.
Just thought of this, what if most of the points ended up into food 😂
I use Dododex and from my tames there have not been any wasted points into an invisible speed leveling. Ofc food and oxygen could be considered wasted points but at least still have utility unlike speed.
26:12 In the Tames list there is a drop down on the upper left that you can change to various categories including creatures being tamed.

You really need to watch the water and food. I think the torpor rising was increased because of that
For the lady croc I suggest the names Sobek (from Egyptian mithology), Lyle (from the children's books and movie adaptation) and Sang Buaya (from southeastern asia's folklore/myth). I think they give off a sense of power while also remainig relatively femminine-ish/androgenous-y
I love watching the different progression tactics from all the guys. Syntac has longnecks and all the equipment but avoids bigger tames. while the other guys have carnos and mammoths already but arent very deep equipment wise.
He definitely needs a riding tame like an iguanadon to move a lot faster everywhere 😅
I bump the crap out of my fortitude, I started cos of maps with 'temperatures' but then the time we did the swamp gauntlet and I was last man standing with a buttload of tranc in me...trophy goes to fortitude!
You get to the tracking and click the drop down that says "All Tames" on the left side and select "Tames in progres"
So you don't have to put in food and still are able to track the location and torpor.
There's still a lot of bugs to be worked out. For instance every time I access a cooking pot, a fireplace or campfire I have to lay down in a bed. Because it bugs my character out. Wally Gator, for a name old 80s cartoon.
A high level direwolf would be perfect for the next eps.

Oh man the swamp. First time playing this game I had no idea. Built on the cliffs along the side of it. Fell in. Soon enough had an idea. Traumatized to this day how many attempts it took me to get my stuff back. The sarco is real nice colours, a good but stressful day 😂
When you get on your traking list. Then, in one corner, there are "all tams". If you look there, you can press it and choose what you want to trak, for example your ongoing tams, baby dinos.
When you are under all tams and choose the Dino of yours you want to draw, press the check mark under the dino's picture (the head). When it lights up, they are thrashed.
Hope it wil help you to know.
Syntac, in order to track a tamed dino, you have to press the button next to the star below the image of the dino, the star favorites them, and the icon next to the star marks them on the map.
The way my butthole clenched when you turned and saw the THERI 😅 and then I just KNEW that death message was coming. So glad the sarco is safe, this episode is PTSD inducing

Unreal Engine 5 has completely reignited my passion for this game. I just got a ps5 for myself and then heard about ACA and better yet it was only a couple days away! I played my first 2 hours last night and it’s such a smooth experience this time around. No game breaking bugs yet and everything at all times looks like an amazing painting

Hey sytac just so you know all the dinos stats look "Pretty good" in this game since there is no movement speed leveling all the stats that would randomly get put in movement are being spread across the other stats. Keep up the good videos

I recommend that you add a foundation or two wider on the sides with slopes opposite to the Roofs you have now to split up your flat faced sides
fun building tip .. Cellar doors can be used as a "draw bridge" the Large cellar when opened upwards \_/ will keep a rex sized dino from walking thru that area, and its cheaper to build 1 large cellar door than it is to build a Behemoth gateway and door. build it into your wall and it can be used from dino back just like a Gate as well.
you can shoot thru railings now. they still have solid hit box parts but you can now tranq thru them *(the gaps on the bottom) and 'most' dinos cant pass thru (i haven't had the chance for compys or other small dinos/babys to run thru it to test that part in a taming pen.)

There's a scroll down menu to track in progress tames or you can click that tear drop looking icon below the dinos photos in the tracking list. The star icon is to favorite your tames.

Tracker tips: there's a drop down menu at the top that says "tames". You gotta select "tames in progress" and then select the "PIN" icon on the creature's menu to track it. Just highlighting it doesn't always work ;) Been enjoying this series so far! :)

I know this is an old episode but you can track knocked out dinos in the Dino tracker before you feed them. You just use the filter on the top left and filter to tames in progress

I’m glad to see I’m not the only person suffering from Ark Survive-all Therizinos… the only things thus far that’s murdered me, my bf, and our tames, have been therizinos. I REALLY hate them. They are absolutely everywhere for no reason.
