I've just started SL 5×5 but using Chins and dips instead of bench and rows. Think that's a decent low volume routine for a cut or you recommend another?

Riddick not necessarily,I mean low intensity cardio is not conducive to the stamina you require in mma,it is used by old school athletes but in reality it is a rather inferior approach and a waste of time,the stuff he does(high intensity advanced calisthenics),to the amazement of many people is actually building a crazy level of stamina as well.However,the type of training that mma fighters should do for stamina or overall strength quality is heavy strongman training,combined with max strength (5/5 compound lifting) training and gymnastic style training.The strongman training is the best thing for mma style conditioning,nothing else comes close,lds has its place but it should be limited for good reason,high intensity work capacity that is needed in mma matches dont come from marathon type training,and actually strongman training helps to increase muscle mass,despite being exhaustive in nature,gymnastic ring training,i.e,doing advanced stuff like butterfly,iron and maltese cross,front levers also provide with the ability of quick force output and ensure high strength to bodyweight ratio.
