The screech at 1:31. What is that? My truck has been doing it too. 2012 3.5L F150. Im suspecting A/C and even bought one to replace it, but wasnt sure if you knew.
Any plans on placing a catch can? I’m having misfires on cylinders 1&4 and I’ve changed all sparks and all coils and still doing the misfiring. I’m debating on drilling a weep hole
You will get a misfire code for a specific cylinder. You can swap the coil pack to a different cylinder.if the misfire code changed to the new cylinder that usually means that coil pack is bad
@@texaseliteperformance4471 thank you so much! i know so little about trucks so far but im trying to learn as much as possible and this has helped a lot!!

How do you know if you have a bad coil pack?

@@texaseliteperformance4471 I'm experiencing that shudder. I installed a catch can at 50k miles, changed spark plugs, and pcv valve.
Also what year is your truck? mine is a 2011 3.5 v6 ecoboost f150
Also a 2011
Install a catch can and you will trap 3-4 ounces of that every month.
bad coil pack or plug will be big cause of misfire too.
should this be done at all before there are any problems? as a preventative measure
If you read up on the forums when you Google it everyone seems to say it's a must do mod. Its done to prevent oil accumulating and causing misfires

Did you plug this after the drilling the hole or just leave it?
I left it but you can plug it with a self tapping screw and drain it every so often
Leave it open it'll work like a catch can
It ain't no sense of drawing a hole in it then you're going to plug it back up
