Penmaenbach Arete, Conwy Wales Grade 1 Scrambling

Fantastic scrambling, some loose rocks but mostly solid and only a 10 minute walk in from the car!

Thank you. That brings back happy memories. Me and a mate decided to do it one summers evening after work. Nice little scramble, and then sat at the top enjoying a fag and watching the sunset. Good old days.

I'm a local fell runner and go up there all the time, I'm no scrambler though I just do that arete because it's fun and I live nearby, should a helmet always be worn on routes like that as I don't bother, it had never even crossed my mind to wear a helmet before seeing this.
