Hi Murray, Lovely video great shots. On the age thing im 70 now and did this walk about 25 uears ago with my brother. With no issues. BUT as you get older confidence does wain. Partly because of physical limitations. I.e. balance is the first issue, balance does deteriorate as you get older, and definately effects your confidence. You do feel unsteady as this happens. I have noticed this creaping up on me as i get older. This gives me some trepidation I do still get out though as i have been for 45 years, but i choose my challenges very carefully. Hope that gives you an idea of how physical issues related to age effect confidence. John M
I'm also 70 and had hip joint replacement surgery done last March. In the years leading up to the surgery my balance and mobility were becoming more and more compromised and even walking on a flat road was painful. Six months on I'm pain free, thank God, and I've been working hard to get my fitness back to where it was. I'm feeling great now, as far as cardio fitness goes, but my balance hasn't come back fully and I'm starting to think it never will. But it's been fantastic getting out and about in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland and the fells of England this summer, after years being a semi cripple. I'm just counting my blessings. To all you young lads and lasses who might happen to read this, make the most of your youth while you have it. To you, John M, all the best my friend, and I hope you are enjoying your walking and scrambling as much as I am.
Couldn’t agree more. I’m 67 now, still pretty fit, but realise I’m not as fit and agile or sure footed as I used to be. I’ve had to turn back on a couple of Skye Munros last 18 months, notably the Bad Step on Am Bhasteir this year, whereas 20 years ago I hopped down it no problem. Think it was more mental than physical but it’s the combination that puts the doubt in your mind. I did Liathach no problem this year and loved it, there’s always an easier alternative if you don’t fancy the direct scramble, but only in good conditions. It’s not a place for walkers in bad weather or winter. I did it in winter 20 odd years ago with a guide, the late Martin Moran, full on winter mountaineering. Great video thank you Murray, superb camera work!
One of Scotland's finest mountains. Loved your camping spot. Even without the coffee that must have been a fantastic trip. Regarding fear I think experience is a big thing. Initial fears soon go as you realise what you are actually capable of doing.
Thanks John - good to hear it’s not stopping you - things definitely seem to change with age - not just the bad knees lol Thanks for watching ATB Murray
@@robertbaker1893I’m so happy your hip is pain free now!…I agree the young need to do these adventures whilst nimble and fit, my son works for 6 months to 1 year , saves up and goes on a “hike” , thus far he’s done the Pacific Crest Trail, Camino de Santiago, Cape Wrath, and other smaller trails and as I type this he is at the last 100 miles to go of the 2197 mile Appalachian Trail….ive left my travels for old age and sadly feel compromised…wish I’d been like my son

Brilliant Murray! Thoroughly enjoyed while on the gym bike. Fear is a mature thing to talk about. I was scared on the Devil's ridge even though it was pretty safe. I was scared when I wandered off the Carn Mor Dearg arrete at Ben Nevis. But strangely not at the top 30m face at the Ratho climbing centre. In my older years I just treat it as risk assessment. Truly amazing. I was fortunate enough to visit your stunning country last year and was blown away by both its beauty and the warmth and friendliness of its people. Thank you for showing me parts of the country that I would otherwise have never seen. I am now a subscriber.
Brilliant route, video and camping site. My time is almost gone, but I get so much enjoyment out of watching you do what I used to do. Many thanks for sharing.
No words Murray, that camp site, nothing anywhere can be a better campsite than that. That view, simply off the scale. Stunning video Murray. The view's the night sky the colours in the morning what more could you want. Admire your courage on the pinacles it's not for the faint hearted. Drone footage was out of this world. Bit worried when I saw you on the edge of the pinacle towards the summit but really was worth it for the views. Take care and look forward to your next video.
Thank Julie - it’s a wonderful mountain - the 360 camera alway skews the angle and makes thing look worse (just like the old go pro days!) however they are still very very steep and not a place to trip . Can’t wait to go back to Liathach - I WL t be leaving it 20years tho! Thanks for watching Murray
Yes, in my opinion Liathach is the best mountain in Scotland. Done it three times, once in the snow on a blue sky day in spring - unbeatable. Thanks for another wonderful film of great scramble.
I got to the bit with the drone flypast on the pinnacle and it took my breath away... I'm not ashamed to say I started to cry with the emotion at the sheer stunning country that Scotland is.... I've climbed most of these peaks, and I miss them dearly. These videos are as good as it gets apart from being there. In fact the drone shots show it even more than you'd get for real. Murray what can we say it was fantastic what you did the views were brilliant but we were almost reaching for the brandy to calm the nerves and we were on the settee just watching 👍👍
I was going to wax lyrical but everyone before me has said everything I wanted to ( I’m not complaining - I hate typing on ipad!), so I’ll just say thank you so much Murray for all your hard work and dedication … and to your family for supporting you. Muchos grassyarse!
Murray, that was gob smacking! The fitness and the nerve to do that! Even your pitch had me feeling nervy! As I’ve got older (and heavier) my balance has got worse and I’m suddenly aware at 57 that I stumble more often and correct myself more slowly, and with that, confidence and head for heights goes. When I push myself now (and even that is only at low levels), it’s very uncomfortable - so keep using it, so you don’t lose it! Love that whole area of Torridon, so delighted to see the video, wonderfully shot and narrated as ever!
I live just a few miles away from this amazing mountain, yet have never climbed it. I used to live far away to the south, so on snatched trips north there were always choices of hills to climb, and Liathach (try Lee-ach) was always 'on the list' but never made it. I moved to this area when I was 60 to be near the hills I love, I am only 67, but after years of arthritis, joint replacements and other surgery, I no longer have the strength or endurance to tackle the more challenging climbs and scrambles (It took me three days to climb Slioch three years ago, between operations, backpacking in etc). Add age(ing) into the mix, and yes, confidence does wane. I may never now reach these summits and ridges, damn it! So I will have to settle for your amazing images, ALMOST as good as being there myself (-:)~ so thanks for a) making seeing all the splendour possible, and b) pi--ing me right off, full of envy! OK, only a little envy. We are lucky, living in this moment in time, to have the technology, and people like you to bring the hills to us, so thank you.
Hi Bob - it was an incredible trip up Liathach this one - hope you weren’t too envious - I’ve not been up Slioch for a few years - it’s another fine mountain too :) what a place to live too - that’s made me envious - I would love to live in the north west highlands :) Thanks for watching ATB Murray
I did this in 1988 in warm, sunny and windy weather. I didn't intend to cross the pinnacles, but the bypass path was so scary, we scrambled up the the ridge and did it. Spectacular and a real brown underwear job. But I'm so glad I did it. Liatach is one of Scotland's finest peaks and Beinn Eighe and Beinne Alligin are also fantastic. But don't forget Beinn Dearg - not quite a Munro itself but with amazing views of the 3 Munros.
What an absolutely incredible video thanks Murray. I am now 70 and can assure you that I have lost my nerve when it comes to heights. My legs were tingling and my heart racing throughout your video. What incredible scenery. It looked like you were on top of the world. It's hard to get better than that. Thanks for sharing the adventure.
My heart was in my mouth just watching you. So glad you thoroughly enjoyed it and the uncomfortable zone wasn’t triggered. Beautifully shot and an amazing treat to watch 😊
0:46 Wow what a day ...what a camping spot and those views. Thankyou for a wonderful video this week... Your photography, editing and commentary just get better and better 😊😊😊😊😊.I have had to watch this twice already just to appreciate all the views Stay classy Torridon...😊
Thank you Sue - very much appreciated. Liathach deserved a good outing and weather and I certainly got it on the camping trip - cant wait to go back :) Thanks for watching ATB Murray
I was genuinely gutted for you that you couldn’t have a coffee. But besides that. Wow. Absolutely spectacular place. Torridon really is a magical part of the Highlands. Thank you.
That was spectacular and I fair enjoyed watching your video. As regards the fear/age thing, I did these munros via the pinnacles in 2008 and didn't have any problems but at the age of 70 tried them earlier on this year and turned back due to physical limitations that creep up on you, and these limitations made feel that Liathach was now beyond me. I don't have the same strength in my muscles, especially for going downhill and balance is not the same either so my fear was that if I stumbled I may not have been able to stop myself so my fear wasn't down to a change in my attitude to exposure but because of the consequences of a trip or fall. There are still plenty of other hills that I can still manage though. Cheers.
What an epic trip! That camping spot! The photo recreation! What a perfect couple of days…other than no hot food or drink! That was just stunning, Murray. I hope you got your coffee not too long after. Quite a drive to get there as well. Thanks for documenting the adventure. Cheers, and ATB!
I'm sure someone has already said it but my favourite fact about the Torridon Hills isn't their age, it's the fact that they were originally part of the same range as the Appalachians and the Atlas Mountains before Pangea broke up. Beautiful video as always. Thanks!
Glorious, man! And what a camping spot! We who live for our time in the mountains (and when not in the mountains, yearning for them) watch the progression of our age with anxiety. I am now 58. Nine years ago I climbed the Matterhorn. Would I do it again - not sure. Possibly not. As we age we unconsciously grasp that we are not quite as physically capable as we once were. And we necessarily, and wisely, give ourselves a little bit more of a margin each year. Fear is our guide. Yet this past week I was wild camping on a col between two 2000m peaks on Vancouver Island, hauling a 50 pound pack up and down mountains more than a thousand metres at a time, waking in cloud or to a cloud inversion. Here we are! And it's glorious! We give up the mountains when we give up breathing. Next year: Everest base camp.
Did the bypass path east to west many, many years ago under heavy snow - absolutely terrifying! What a great mountain and fabulous video - thanks again Murray!
Watched this afternoon. Great video Murray, spectacular photography and weather. When I was 17 I was anchored in Loch Torridon on HMS Jupiter looking up at those mountains, nice to see it from the top. Best wishes 👍
Fantastic watch. Started off sedately, then those incredible Sunset shots from the drone and camera. Very well put together video with good balance of music, drone and camera footage. The shots of you going over the pinnacle ridges gave me the Heebiejeebies ! I appreciate your knowledge of the mountains.
I think that was your best yet, just beautiful, stunning, awesome, my heart was pumping all the through, from your campsite, to the pinnacles, and the bypass, and the fantastic Scottish Highlands, no way you can beat that one, even the weather was good for you. Thanks for sharing my friend, and stay safe on the hills. 😎
I don’t think I have ever been more scared watching a video - that pitch was frightening - just don’t roll over in the night eh omg! The ridge fascinates me but beyond my vertigo inducing ability! Amazing but scary as!
Absolutely superb Murray. As a 70 year old now. I have found that the fear factor came in on my 60s and know I would find it hard to cope on the Skye ridge Aonach Eagagh or indeed Liathach. In my fourties’ I had seemed ok with these ridges. I did use the by pass path on the mountain but thought it was exposed but wonder how I would feel now. I was brought up watching Tom Weir, Jimmy MacGregor, Muriel Gray and Cameron McNeish on various outdoor shows but nothing can compare with the footage you put out and all on your own. So well done. Must admit though I loved the Munro show with Muriel it was funny but informative and coincided with my Munro journey. Anyhow look forward to your next adventure.
Thank you so much for the minds words Ron - not sure I even deserve to be in the same sentence as those legends TBH - loved the Munro show too when growing up a superb series :) Thanks for watching ATB Murray
One of your best Murray. You really should be getting a Percentage from the Scottish Tourist Board. I probably wouldn't ever dare to do what you did on that traverse, but I did get inspiration from you to pose on the famous buttress on Stac Pollaidh. Keep up the good work 👍 ps. Regarding fear, I do think that I consider the risks, and not just regarding hiking, much more aged 50+ than I ever did in my 20's. Back then the riskier the better!
Thank you Murray for another amazing video. You take us to places we might never get to see for various reasons, but I really feel like I’m part of the experience because of the way you film your adventures. I really appreciate your work. Thanks again ❤
Murry, fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. The night sky, was absolutely breathtaking. When you see the stars, it makes us so insignificant. However, the fear....I've walked many a ridge, many a hill in Scotland. Now I even have to look away on some videos where there is exposure ...I can't even stand on a castle battlements and look over. Started probably 10 years ago and has got progressively worse. I'm coming on to 73 and still hike, camp, a bit of cycling (not so much since the lockdown, as lost a lot of fitness then) so I avoid the exposure and enjoy the glens, valleys and forest walks. As always, a super video, not full of bravado.. thankfully. Thoughtful, inspiring, so thanks again for the time, effort in getting out there, producing, editing, and putting these videos out there. Keep safe and looking forward to the next adventure.
Thank you - totally agree with the night sky - such an amazing sight when it’s so clear A reckon I caught a shooting star in the right of the frame when I was scanning the stars :) Thanks for watching Murray
I love Liatach and the panoramic views is second to none for me on the mainland and all the Torridon hills are special but this video captured all there majesty so well done Murray for bringing their beauty to my living room😄.
Murray you are one of Scotlands finest. You should have your own TV programme. Being so far away in Falmouth makes me emotional every time I see your adventures. The highlands are second to none. Keep going son. ❤ Big john
@@ScotlandsMountains it's just so great watching you tackle the ridges Murray I'm in awe of all that do them. Whenever I get a crew into the mountains in the UK I'm always leading so I always take the safe and probably more boring routes. My only claim to anything was the North face of tryfan and I was a bit jelly legged but it's the exposure on a ridge that would more than likely mean a chinook to air lift the big man down. CMD arete is my bucket lister having done the Ben 3 times via the trudge track. I'm due up to the highlands in the spring before midgeys start. Keep up the adventures mate we love it down here in Cornwall. Big John 👍😁
I would travel there for no other reason than to camp on that very spot Murray.... In fact... I will... What an incredible pitch.. The age/fear thing...? Well, for me, it's not lack of confidence but getting weaker.. I'd hate to run out of gas... I take much longer to do height and distance combined these days.. I get there... But it takes a little longer... Thank you so much for sharing that mountain adventure... If I'm lucky - I'll try get there this Autumn 🤜🤛
Thanks Jim - it’s a wonderful spot (not one if there is a breeze tho ). We must sort a trip oot soon - been enjoying your videos - the last inversion one was incredible :) Catch up soon Murray
It is so lovely to see the stunning nature through your hikes. I really have to do this hike too. It reminds me a lot of the ridge climbs in the alp. Thank you for you work and greetings from Germany
The best yet, the prettiest place you have pitched your tent ,stunning views, the drone shots made us feel dizzy, regarding fear ,as you get older i think you just get more aware of what you can and cannot do, also watching your posts you have a good choice in whisky as well, take care STAY SAFE. 5:57
At last Murray! This was arguably your best ever video. I've been waiting for you to visit the finest mountain in the UK ever since I first subscribed to your channel several years ago. The wait was worth it though - what a video, what a pitch! Glad you did both the pinnacles and bypass path. You made it look a lot easier than I'm sure it is, that's the value of experience and fitness.
Thanks Steve - Liathach is definitely the mountain I get asked most about in terms of having a video vlog of it over the years ! Think I will be back before another 2 decades elapse !! 😂 Thanks for watching Murray
Magic! What a pitch indeed. Defo going to have to get up there. Fear, you’re correct, as I’ve gotten older there’s a little more of that in my system. 😊
Fab views Murray. Had to look back in my log book and found out I had climbed these munros from east to west in 1979 taking 7.5 hours and in 1999 taking 6 hours a lot fitter then lol. Still got a couple of Corbetts to do in Torridon but not sure if I would attempt Liatach again!!
Lovely video Murray. I too am amazed that you'd only been there once before. I fully understand this fear thing as you get older. My first visit was in the 60's with a very snowy Easter when a teacher took me round the pinnacles on the by-pass. He roped us together which seemed poinless as if either had fallen we would have pulled the other one off. However I had no fear as a teenager. Now I simply don't have the same balance and these pinnacles intimidate me. For a variety of reasons I have never actually traversed them which makes the fear greater. 3 or 4 years ago I led a teenager along the ridge of An Teallach - no bypasses, and I found it fine and really enjoyable, but not the comfortable balanced scramble that it had been on my younger visits.
Absolutely fantastic Murray. I've yet to grab the munros of Torridon but this video really showcases the beauty of this area. It definitely shows how long I've been following your channel now as I instantly thought of Collie's Ledge of Sgurr Mhic Coinnich on the Cuillin traverse when you walked the by pass route! Another fine example of your top quality videos. Thank you very much again. Looking forward to the next one.
Beautiful Video! I've hiked Liathach several times & always from East to West to finish in Torridon Village! I also think Beinn Eighe & An Teallach are magnificent peaks that rival Liathach for their awesome beauty! Thanks for filming & sharing!
I miss Scotland, I’ve been living in the Netherlands for over 20 years and 6 years in France before that. I managed over 50 Munro’s before I left Scotland in 1995. It’s videos like this that reminds me what I gave up. Keep them coming👍😊
Watched later than usual. Absolutely marvellous in every way, but I was biting my nails as you tackled the ridge and those pinnacles. Envy you the view of the stars. Here in Norwich it’s lucky if you can see one or two on a clear night. Light pollution is a menace! Thanks for a fabulous video. Will need to enjoy this several times.
I cannot put into words how stunning this video is and the drone footage narration and camera shots and the courage you have to take these mountains of Torridon into our living rooms!!
Amazing, I don't understand how you and people like you are able to take the heights in your stride, made me feel slightly odd just watching the film, lol. The views are other worldly, thanks for sharing this!
I made the 9hr drive to skye last weekend to take on part of the cuillin ridge. Even at 32, knowing a fall is going to be fatal from the ridges still gives a bit of fear and just makes you that extra cautious as you make each move. Was so worth it though! Cheers for the vids on skye too Murray, they were a great source of reference and planning.
Magic Murray, what a spot, what a mountain. 😎 Oooft nightmare aboot the canister & coffee. Pinnacles looked fun. I think the older I get, the more anxious I get about thinking of doing scrambles/climbs. Once am up on a Mountain & in ma groove am usually okay. All in the mind.
Agreed - funny how the fear works - sometimes I am ok and other times I over think things ! lol - catching up on your latest one from An Teallach later hopefully once family chores are done Thanks for watching Kev Murray
Murray. Once again stunned and left emotionally thrilled by your adventure. You deserve a broadcasting award for your content which is unmatched in engaging beauty. This is my favourite hill in Scotland and the video brought back memories of December 1995 when I did it.
Thanks S. - currently editing Bla Bheinn video. - then into Harris ones - could take me weeks !! lol Hope to catch up soon - must get out and up a hill at some point too !! Speak soon M
I only saw Torridon twice doing NC500 but never actually hiked in there. You got me hooked now for sure. It's a must visit place for anyone who loves mountains. P.s. we met at Ellies chain walk just after covid. I wish I was more chatty but maybe I'll see you again up in the mountains one day. Great video as always.
Beautiful video, great camera work and perfect weather too. Takes me back to my Liathach traverse (east to west) over 30 years ago. We went over the pinnacles - easier than I expected then, but I think that you do get more fearful as you get older. Parental responsibility plays a part, I’m sure.
Murray is the world's best postman.... he always delivers. Stunning scenery, what a spot.
Another beautiful video with stunning scenery 🏔️! Such a gorgeous location 🏕️

Been waiting all day for this Murray!
Hope you enjoyed it :)
You may not have found the pinnacles scary but we had our hearts in our mouths whilst you were doing it 😮 Congratulations 🎉

Thanks Andy - Liathach is a special place for sure :)

Spectacular video. Thanks!
🙏
Hi Bob - it was an incredible trip up Liathach this one - hope you weren’t too envious - I’ve not been up Slioch for a few years - it’s another fine mountain too :) what a place to live too - that’s made me envious - I would love to live in the north west highlands :)

Ive been watching these for years and look forward to a wednesday night. This is without doubt one of the best.
Thank you 🙏
Absolutely amazing place, wow…..my jaw was open the whole time when you crossed the pinnacles…..😍
Thank you 🙏
0:46 Wow what a day ...what a camping spot and those views. Thankyou for a wonderful video this week... Your photography, editing and commentary just get better and better 😊😊😊😊😊.I have had to watch this twice already just to appreciate all the views Stay classy Torridon...😊
Thank you Sue - very much appreciated. Liathach deserved a good outing and weather and I certainly got it on the camping trip - cant wait to go back :)

One of my favourite places in Scotland, and the world. GREAT video
I was genuinely gutted for you that you couldn’t have a coffee. But besides that. Wow. Absolutely spectacular place. Torridon really is a magical part of the Highlands.
Thank you.
The majesty’s of Liathach made me forgot about the lack of coffee :) ☕️
Hi Murray, two words BRAVE MAN.X💕🏴
Thanks for going where I wouldn't dare to and sharing the AMAZING (if scary) views 👏
Thanks Erin - as soon as I hit civilisation I topped up my depleted caffeine reserves!!lol

@@ScotlandsMountains Here's an overview of the geology of the Torridon. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torridon_Group
@@ScotlandsMountains The age of those rocks is between 100 -> 900 million years. No multicellular life yet.
ABSOLUTELY SUPERB MURRAY thank you for sharing has always, that was some memory and the drone shot one to keep, brilliant xx
What a place! Murray, you've outdone yourself again. Thanks for sharing this trip with us, helps a lot!
🙏
I'm sure someone has already said it but my favourite fact about the Torridon Hills isn't their age, it's the fact that they were originally part of the same range as the Appalachians and the Atlas Mountains before Pangea broke up.
Beautiful video as always. Thanks!
Wow, thanks Murray. Brings back some memories of a great summers day on Liathach about 30 years ago.
Back to back bangers. Great work In this video, stunning.
Inspiring Murray, just added this to my list
Wow, absolutely stunning videos..cheers Murray
Fantastic watch. Started off sedately, then those incredible Sunset shots from the drone and camera. Very well put together video with good balance of music, drone and camera footage. The shots of you going over the pinnacle ridges gave me the Heebiejeebies !
I appreciate your knowledge of the mountains.
Thank you - hope you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching
Murray
I think that was your best yet, just beautiful, stunning, awesome, my heart was pumping all the through, from your campsite, to the pinnacles, and the bypass, and the fantastic Scottish Highlands, no way you can beat that one, even the weather was good for you.
Thanks for sharing my friend, and stay safe on the hills. 😎
Thank You Douglas - much appreciated 🙏

I don’t think I have ever been more scared watching a video - that pitch was frightening - just don’t roll over in the night eh omg!
The ridge fascinates me but beyond my vertigo inducing ability! Amazing but scary as!
This was great. A Murray classic!!
Thank you so much for the minds words Ron - not sure I even deserve to be in the same sentence as those legends TBH - loved the Munro show too when growing up a superb series :)

Absolutely amazing Murray!! breath taking
Wow! Stunning! And you're filming it all too. I'm giddy just watching! But, just fabulous! Thank you!
Awesome footage of the Torridon Giants ⛰️ what a hike Murray just perfect 👍
One of your best Murray. You really should be getting a Percentage from the Scottish Tourist Board. I probably wouldn't ever dare to do what you did on that traverse, but I did get inspiration from you to pose on the famous buttress on Stac Pollaidh. Keep up the good work 👍 ps. Regarding fear, I do think that I consider the risks, and not just regarding hiking, much more aged 50+ than I ever did in my 20's. Back then the riskier the better!
Stunningly beautiful and inspiring!! One of the best outdoor videos I’ve ever watched! Thank you!!
What stunning scenery, love your videos so grateful we get to see these amazing parts of Scotland, thanks Murray x
Thank you Murray for another amazing video. You take us to places we might never get to see for various reasons, but I really feel like I’m part of the experience because of the way you film your adventures. I really appreciate your work. Thanks again ❤
Thank you 🙏
Wow just wow! Thanks for sharing
Your videos and filming is incredible! Love watching them thank you! Your brave!
Thank you - totally agree with the night sky - such an amazing sight when it’s so clear A reckon I caught a shooting star in the right of the frame when I was scanning the stars :)

Murray you are one of Scotlands finest. You should have your own TV programme. Being so far away in Falmouth makes me emotional every time I see your adventures. The highlands are second to none. Keep going son. ❤ Big john
Not sure I have the dialect for national Tele 📺 😂😂😂

Murray that was absolutely stunning really enjoyed it
At last Murray!

Magic! What a pitch indeed. Defo going to have to get up there. Fear, you’re correct, as I’ve gotten older there’s a little more of that in my system. 😊
Wooooow Murray watch every video you release and have too say this really was something special. Great bloke as well😊😊

Good luck with the Corbetts - they do give great views over to Liathach tho :)

Cracking and stunning vid Murray 🏴👌👌
What a beauty 👏👏👏
Need a wee dram after this one 👌👌
Thanks Marco - yes Collies Ledge is a wonderful traverse along a unbelievable ledge :)

It’s a rather nice spot :)
It’s a rather nice spot :)
Thanks for the video from a magic place. My two favourite mountain traverses on the mainland are An Teallach and Liathach.... 😊
Agreed - funny how the fear works - sometimes I am ok and other times I over think things ! lol - catching up on your latest one from An Teallach later hopefully once family chores are done

Magnificent, Murray. This must be one of your finest, most beautiful films. Thank you.
Beautiful video, great camera work and perfect weather too. Takes me back to my Liathach traverse (east to west) over 30 years ago. We went over the pinnacles - easier than I expected then, but I think that you do get more fearful as you get older. Parental responsibility plays a part, I’m sure.
