Best Ferrari I owned was a 105k miles Testarossa that I flogged regularly, because... It had 105k on it.
Only failure I had was an evaporator core. And it was pretty easy to fix. Drove it for two years, sold it, and it lives on. Happily.
Avoid the low mileage ones like a plague. That's when they leak and break.

oh yeah, i’m sure he has zero issues with it. the people that have been watching the channel for awhile will know that Omega has come a looong way in a short time, and i know at least part of that success is due to the consistent well paying jobs and youtube exposure that tyler has helped bring to the shop

Had to spend 1800 last month on my lexus so can relate. Needed timing belt water pump valve cover gaskets spark plugs and pads and rotors all sides. Also did all fluids

One thing Tyler doesn't mention is that all three of those cars are excellent investments. I wouldn't sell any of them myself - worth keep just for the appreciation alone. Not to mention that for him, every time they break it means another video, which effectively pays to keep them maintained. Tyler is much smarter than he leads us to believe.

I've driven so many exotic cars,the only one I really like to drive is the Ferrari 612 Scagliatti.The Ferrari 488 is damn good also.Akrapovich exhaust and an ecu tune.Very smooth and powerful.

When I first started watching Hoovie he only had a couple of cars and the Apollo 911 was the supercar 🤣 so glad for his success seeing how this channel grew is very nice.

When you're explaining on keeping all 3 Lamborghinis -- I just agreed with all of it. I also had the Alpine poster, the Diablo model cars. The red interior is really special - resonates deep in the soul. Same feel with the others. I'm glad you're living your dreams.

I heard "all it needed was recharged" and immediately thought "what about the leak"? 99 times out of a hundred I hear that and people just pumped more refrigerant in without finding and fixing the leak. Good for Wizard for doing it right.
It boils my blood when I read car listings that say "just needs a recharge" - if it just needed a recharge, then why didn't you recharge it yourself and why is the system empty? Freon doesn't just disappear or get consumed. If it needs a recharge, it also has a leak that can potentially cost hundreds if not well over a thousand of dollars in repairs.
@@Romulus1001 It does disappear over time tho, there is no problem unless it's over 10% per year. That's why you have to service and recharge it every two years

Issue with the Countach is likely a short in the wiring. My friend's Corvette did the same thing whenever it rained. You're likely going to need a new wiring harness unless Weezard can come up with something more cost efficient, but unless you replace the harness you're really only putting a bandaid on the issue

See, this is an informed comment. My thought upon seeing the tach was that the ignition key was intermittently losing connection and therefore dropping the spark. I'm glad I read what you had to say before I said something stupid.

Tyler makes this lifestyle seem so attainable, maybe not triple lambos, but for the most part. I love this channel.
Love the Elvis sunglasses hanging out in the Countach! Certainly a car the King would have owned had he lived long enough to see them. Didn't know Hoovie was an Elvis fan either, makes me respect you that much more as a lifelong Elvis fan myself. Even though I wasn't born until 79 a little over 2 years after he passed.

The Wizard Repair Rally- which the Wizard always wins.
As much as ive always thought how cool it would be to own such high end cars, it also makes me appreciate the fact that my 2003 Chevy S10 has been far more reliable than almost any so called supercar. Speed is nothing if the car isnt reliable enough to enjoy it for more than a fleeting moment. Italian cars seem to follow the traits of their makers, they are viciously tempermental and can fly off the handle at any time.
You can’t even remotely compare a car, much less a sports car, to a busted old truck for driving experience or enjoyment.
You know the condition of their car? Fascinating. Tell us more you puck.

There is a reason why Superspeeder Bob has said that if you want a reliable everyday exotic buy a Porsche. Now as for the Countach be sure to check the wiring connection at the ignition switch. It has been known to come loose.
I am so glad that I’m not the only one to have embarrassing breakdowns! My lowly Datsun 310 (RIP!) blew a head gasket in a Safeway parking lot, spewing a James Bondian cloud of steam behind me as I drove to the Nissan dealer for the 11th time in a year, for repairs. My temporary insanity was restored once the car was dispatched to car hell. Great video!

I had 1978 Škoda 105.
Apart from overheating if not coolant was not ventilated regularly, it was super reliable

If you have the original Magneti Marelli ignition Id bet that is the issue. Simple fix to replace with a much newer and more modern MSD ignition which solves all the issues. The original ignition is prone to failure, and also hates being wet being below the open air vent in back.
Tyler, it might be the engine speed sensor. Something nobody ever thinks of. It gradually failed on my VW Jetta and had no idea what it may be. At first my tach would drop and come back randomly, just a blip. Over a week it started getting more frequent, then the car went in limp mode, like 10% power. Any engine electronics are going to need to know the RPM to gauge fuel and air.
Vice Grip Garage has picked more dependable cars out of 20 year barn naps.
Old american classic sitting in a field falling to pieces.. Fires right up after hacking a few mouse chewed wires together and scooping the mouse turds off the floor to get to the accelerator.
Italian classic stored in climate controlled garage since it was new has a temper tantrum the first time it sees rain and because someone had the audacity to drive it more than once per year.
And more entertaining than watching him drive 100k Lamborghini back and forth to the mechanic. I miss Tyler’s old jeep and Buick days.

The original Magneto Marelli ignition is crapping out. It’s up underneath the drivers radiator exhaust vent. Remove and replace with an MSD. It’s a DIY if you’re at all handy.
