Good old pirelli pzero asymmetrical
And the tail lights look like they are off of a 1970s utility trailer.
“Don’t worry, I’ll charge you the full hour for those ten minutes.”
If Wizard actually charged him flag rate for repairs, Hoovie would have been *flipping* burgers at Freddie’s years ago.
Tavarish has a burger joint?
didn't know that :)
@@skeevemhulac8232 No. A lot of people are named Fred. One of them has burger chain. It's not tavarish...
Yeah Wizard isn't charging him full price, probably giving Tylor a slight discount either on labor or parts depending on the situation.
I was born in the mid 80’s, just wish I was around to actually enjoy them. Love the Countach.
well 90% that lived in the 80s didnt ride this, or even 99%
"when a clutch goes out"
queue the 30k repair.
*cue the 30k repair. Queue means “form a line”.
@@Lozzie74 hahaha whopps. I build call centers for a living. Man im lame.
The power steering rebuild and reinstall costs more than two of my cars put together. LOL
I wonder if that throttle wire thing is so one can easily rev the motor from the engine bay.
Wizard is a good mechanic and knows how to keep his business going by making sure his customers have to come back lmao
"Its dry, that's a good thing." Unless it has zero oil.
No oil no leaks baby
He got “Dumbest” as his vanity plate 🤣
"Something's not adding up here" Says Wizard with a big grin on his face while he adds the total up in his head.
The wizards to blame for the horn as it's part of the indicator storm that he tightened when as he said when you turn the steering wheel it'swas turning aswell
Yeah when he said he fixed blinkers. We knew then why horn was acting up.
Clock spring issue, he should have replaced the entire thing...
Wizard: With a dead serious straight face. "I'll tell ya the price just went up."
All mechanics are no b.s. when it comes to price.
When does the drilling holes in the chassis start on these two bad boys?
Wizard has come a long way with his comfort level in front of the camera
That's one of the most incredible aspects of Hoovie's Garage. I knew as soon as I watched my first episode of this channel (the one
where Hoovie tells about why car auctions are really a rip off, while wearing a sport coat, shirt and tie. Only to get up at the end of the video wearing plaid walking shorts) that Tyler Hoover is a natural born showman. While the early vids with the Car Wizard shows Dave looking like a deer in the headlights...or maybe a serial killer. No offense intended.
He has his own channel as well.....
4:30 I have the same problem in my Acura TL with the door open indicator coming on. Either your door sensor or lock actuator is cooked
Hoovies: "It's not like I'm daily driving or going across the country the country with the Coutach"
NEXT VIDEO: "Driving the Coutach across the USA (Doubled the miles in one month!!)
ჯდბხ
What is a "Coutach"?
"I never do a merch plug, but I'm a little low on the tank here... " lol. -Hoovie 2021
What I love is the look of satisfaction on Wizards face as he says " something isn't adding up here" AKA KA-Ching,, and that SH!T eating grin, GREAT VIDEOS
"Spengler, I'm with Venckman, he got slimed!" went through my mind when the Wizard took off the steering rack boot (scene from the movie Ghostbusters for you young folks).....
MMMMM Annie Potts
“Countach !” is the sound you make when the diablo destroys your wallet.
You know you've watched far to much Hoovies Garage when you go to bed at night and realize the theme music is playing in your head and you can't stop it lol.
Wizard, that island is suddenly looking much more affordable...
ჯზჯ
10k into the Diablo to fix it? That seems like nothing for a Lamborghini.
That's just maintenance on a Ferrari, it shows they are designed by someone who was done with that crap.
Shit i spent 27k canadian fixing my 2001 540i touring
10k usd for a diablo is a bargain
A lot of money for uglier old cars. Why not get something nicer? To each their own i guess.
For a car like that, it comes down to what you plan on doing with it. $10K is not a lot for such repairs, but if you only plan to drive it a few hundred miles a year or simply hold it to flip later, it is a decent amount of money. These are really collector examples and I know Hoovie is probably struggling with what to do with them long term. Spending 10K now to put a bunch of miles on them will still result in a lower value car than not fixing a thing today.
@@Akkbar21 older cars have feel and character
New cars are all numb and dull below 120mph
Ill stick with my soon-to-be-appreciating wagon (shit has a v8, does 0 to 60mph in 5 seconds with hankook sports tires)
Slow car fast is way more fun than fast car slow......
These are my favorite Hoovie videos. I love the trips to the car Wizard
Hoovie is going to need to have those appraisals on the ready when his wife's card gets declined at the grocery store.
LOL
There’s something so refreshing about watching someone drive a manual car. It’s a lost art
Not in UK it's not.
@@gedd6750 Ya same in Ireland were I live everybody drivers a manual even city People.
It isn't in Europe. Everybody knows how to drive a manual, even those who have an automatic.
Here in America a manual transmission is an anti-theft feature...it is that bad.
@@jordancapps9521 I went to New York last year, I wanted to rent a manual muscle car, the lady at the rental desk in the airport just looked at me like I was mad or stupid.
what do you do on mazda speed 6? or MPS as known in Europe..
Fine vehicle...
Gotta say, love how the Wizard spots issues and confidently calls them out so knowlegabley.
Hallmark of a good mechanic
I think Tyler should have his own parking space and bay in the Weezard’s shop! It’s only right... maybe his own coffee mug too
Mate, the entire shop is Hoovies parking spot
“I got another eruption on me”
THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID
I'm happy to see Hoovie sporting the Canadian Tuxedo this video
