As per Ayurveda, we use in our family Castor oil will be used during warm months and Coconut Oil in Cool months. We soak fenugreek seeds overnight and blend it next morning and apply it as a hair pack. We never use hair shampoos instead of that we wash our hair with Soapnuts(3) soaked overnight in a mug, just squeeze it you will see lather (natural shampoo). Finally, dry the wet hair with smoke coming from Sambrani incense (Benzoin Resin) in a Sambrani holder. That is why Indian women never experience any hair problems even in their old age.
I always had thin hair and lacked eyebrows, but taking omega3 really helped me. After 2 months of taking it my eyebrows filled in and I started getting baby hair on my forhead line where I never had baby hair. I really reccommend it

I don't know about hair, but I do know from own experience and also from my friend's experience that if you put castor oil on your eyelashes ( with clean mascara brush) every single evening before bed and leave it on, in around 1 month time your eyelashes will become really long and beautiful and will look like false eyelashes, as they will be so long.

Yes! Castor oil has helped both my hair and my eyelashes. On my hair and scalp sometimes I mix with sweet almond or coconut oil because castor oil is so thick and sticky. Also, I have used diluted apple cider vinegar to rinse the oil away prior to shampooing. Just an idea that works for me!
I've been using the reactivate serum from liiitlextra for the past month and completely switched from my previous serum for the past two months. It's working wonderfully. I just apply it once every day with the spray pump that comes with the serum. It's very simple to apply, non greasy, and without any scent. The hair growth is so far so good, and it's only 1 month only and I will keep to apply it.
reactttivate hair serum when used nightly for a couple of months did the job for me, yet for my brother, it took longer like about 3 months. I have no idea why!
Hair only grows about 1/2 inch per month for the average person so if it grew a whole inch that’s incredible growth! It looks much fuller and with more volume.
For thick hair do the following: 1-use coconut oil (don't use castor oil in pure form dilute it with coconut oil) 2-at night braid your hairs. 3-add 1tea spoon mixture of fenugreek, mustard, carry leaves powder in your food every day.(mix all powders and USB 1teaspoon from it) 4-have health diet. *Follow this you will have thick, shiny and long hair.*

I used head and shoulders waaayy too long because I thought the dandruff was my biggest reason for my hair not growing back. Ive had hormone testing done but my thin hair is 100% genetic. I switched to natural shampoo and conditioner bars that contain 0 alcohol from an online company called Earthingco. I've used it for 2 months now every day or sometimes every other day (I have oily hair next day) and I have no dandruff anymore. My scalp feels refreshed and I have lots of baby hairs now. I feel more confident and know I will never go back to bottled shampoo. I'm definitely going to try castor oil again with this now as it didn't seem effective with the chemical filled shampoos.
Hey girly! Make sure you’re wrapping your hair at night with a silk or satin scarf/bonnet or use a silk or satin pillow case if you don’t wanna do the whole scarf thing. If you choose a bonnet, flip it inside out so that your hair especially the hair line doesn’t get caught up in the elastic. I say scarf or bonnet cos it will keep all of the oil from getting on your face and everywhere else you don’t want it, and protect your tresses regardless of your hair texture. Ditch the head and shoulders shampoo that shampoo Destroyed my hair and find something more gentle. Aussie Moist is good and Creme of Nature and won’t break the bank. Garnier Fructis has good shampoos and conditioners too they won’t strip your hair. JBCO is a good oil but if you find it too heavy you can add something like Avocado oil which is also good for hair. If you haven’t already get your vitamin levels check especially for vitamin d and iron. You can also try things like MSM powder with vitamin c. MSM tends to thicken up hair in some ppl at least that’s been the experience I’ve had and my hair was very thin especially hairline. If you go the MSM route, start off slow and then build up to the max dosage to see how and if your body reacts. Have to get the inside right to get the maximum results on the outside. Helped me out a ton! I had traction alopecia from wearing extensions and lace fronts glued down for years and I gained back most of my edges/hairline. I know our hair textures are different, but some things cross over when it comes to hair care. There are probably many things from the natural hair community that you can try and it just might work. We’re sisters no matter what our ethnicity is and we can grow and learn from one another. Happy Hair journey sister ❤️

I did, and I regretted it, but then I started using rice water, and that's when it started growing. Now it reaches my lower back. Another thing I do every three months or so is that I trim it( I cut about one centimeter or two, depends on if I have split ends or not) P.S. never trust anyone with your hair

I mix Indian sesame oil and some essential oils - lavender, rose geranium, peppermint, tea tree, lime, orange, grapefruit, clary sage etc and use it approx once a week. With a stressful divorce and move to the other side of the country over the last 10 years my hair went grey and then thinned left & right. The grey and thinning recovered on the right and now the oil mix is fixing the very thin spot on the left. : ) Stick with it.

It definitely made a difference! Thanks for spending so much of your free time to do this experiment for us. I’m going to share this video with my friend who has thinning hair.
Am indian, and I use home made castor oil for growth and to maintain dark hair, so before applying warm it up a bit along with coconut oil it makes huge difference.
don't go to bed with wet hair, it will cause the scalp to dry more & produce excessive oil leading to dandruff and damaged hair shaft and use silk bonnet, castor oil on the lash line, eyebrows and face can cause comedones or milia. make sure to gently exfoilate with wash cloth to prevent.
@@chaillyliebowitz3095 it depends on your skin type. some people don't produce as much keratin and sebum so they don't get comodomes or millia. typically you exfoliate lightly using a wash cloth or a facial brush when washing your face at night before bedtime. i would use a clean unused pillow case and don't touch your face with your fingers, after applying. I developed millia around my eye and had to extract it myself because i used it every day. Maybe use it every other day. A bald spot on the scalp is different than your facial skin surface. Castor oil is really thick and not comedogenic. Sunflower or sesame oil is a nice alternative if your just needing thicker eyelashes and brows and not treating any bald spots. If your not vegan, make sure to include rich in protein and Vit D sources like milk, kefir, yoghurt, eggs, fish and mushrooms and cook your food in Olive oil, Sesame seed oil, Ghee or butter. Itll help your hair grow better from the inside -out. if you start to notice any bumps or acne after using castor oil on your face. stop using it and spot treat it with acne cream until it clears. Switch to a lighter oil. Hope it helps.
Castor oil is NOT comedogenic. Maybe it seems thick in texture but its molecules are really tiny so they can't clog your pores. That's why it's beautiful for problematic skin - mixed with grapeseed oil (2:1) is an excellent moisturizer and brightener.
Most people grow a quarter of an inch in a month. An entire inch is very encouraging. This would be a great idea for someone growing out a bad haircut or bangs.
I think your hair definitely looks bouncier, has more body to it after the castor oil experiment. I agree with what everybody else is saying about head and shoulders shampoo. I researched it a long time ago and all I remember is that it's kind of brutal on the hair and scalp. I've been using castor oil on my eyelashes for about two months and I honestly can't tell any difference. I haven't wanted to use on my scalp because I don't really want to wash my hair anymore than every two days but after watching this video, I may start applying it once or twice a week. Thanks for sharing your experience! 👍🏼😄
Tina! I think that the head and shoulders shampoo is the one causing your scalp to be very oily. Last year I had the same experience, I've always had a normal oiliness on my scalp and after using head and shoulders for a few months I started experiencing excessive oiliness and even dandruff problems. Every 1 day after washing my hair, it would get very oily and dirty, so I washed it almost every day. Then my mom recommended me using another shampoo and washing it every two days or so. She was totally right! Cleaning your hair every day causes it to produce more oil to balance the dryness. Also the head and shoulders shampoo is really aggressive to oily and sensitive scalps. I recommend to anyone who's having the same problems to use a different shampoo (according to your hair type) and not cleaning it every single day, only when you need to. Also, english is not my first language, hope it was clear anyways :)❤️
Paella OldTown yesssss thats so trueeee, i even get bald for heald&shoulders and my hair was so so oily, that i couldnt touch my head or be touch by anything cause that patch become so so oily omg PLEASE STOP USING IT
I agree. And it would be even better if she were to use a silk/satin bonnet to cover her hair at night: that way the oil would stay outta her face and not cause breakouts.
I didn't know that.My hair gets so frizzy and I hate it.Maybe I changed pillow case and plus I'm trying to grow my hair.I got jamaican black castor oil and cantu shea butter grow strong treatment to put on it together and I got nature's bounty gummies to take for my hair
If you haven't already tried it, Henna is a great option to make your hair feel thick and healthy. It comes in a bunch of reddish brown shades or even black (although the black one could contain a certain ingredient which you should avoid). Since you already have dark hair the color wouldn't show up too much and therefore shouldn't be a huge concern. More importantly if you do try it out, make sure to use a brand that is all natural and uses 100% henna and or cassia plant. I did it a while ago and It's made my hair feel and look noticeably thicker and glossy.
My hair was thinning due to stress before and just bad hair care in general. What really helped me was learning about my hair type, going from daily washes to twice a week or as needed, co-washing, or using as little shampoo as possible, deep conditioning, and using oils on my hair (I use argan oil). Now my hair is stronger and healthier. Of course hair fall is normal but not as excessive as before. Good luck on your hair journey!

I do it once a week (when I’m being religious) but probably more often like once every week or two but I dont think it would cause any harm to do it more often!
I would recommend to not use essential oils in the mix. Dermatologist agree that people can become sensitive to frangrance after long use and get rashes, drier skin ect.
@@cristals8340 Hm that's interesting I've never heard that about essential oil since it shouldn't have fragrance in it if you are buying pure oil. Take Biotin for great results. I’ve grown new layers of hair at 60 and we’ve finally convinced my friend’s daughter, who was virtually bald and very depressed, to take it. She now has hair. It’s cheap and the tablets are tiny. No mess. Also get your iron levels checked, a lot of young women don’t eat red meat these days and that can contribute to the problem. It’s really what you put in your body that helps. Pale skin and dull eyes can indicate deficiencies. Your inside health shows in your skin and hair. Young women should have glowing skin and bright eyes, if they don’t then they’re lacking nutrients.
There can be adverse effects though, just like any and all supplements. When I used a very highly reputable biotin supplement, I started getting cystic acne. Tried a lower dosage from a different company and still got it. Only use it if you need it and avoid super high doses unless you know you tolerate it well.
@@aartivedi7142 hey , you can use biotin from any brand. Jamieson makes tiny tablets of which u only need one a day. Also dont forget a high quality multivitamin. Quest, jamieson, Adrien gagnon are all local Canadian brands which i trust
Taking biotin for hair works if you do a blood test and have a deficiency, otherwise they dont do much but it's still worth a try. If your biotin levels are within range then the problem lies elsewhere, like PCOS (me) if its not age/genetics!
I’ve been a stylist for over 30 years as everyone said already stop using the head and shoulders. If you have dandruff use a shampoo by Nioxin called Scalp therapy. I use to love to sell Solve by Redken but they changed it. And only use it 2 times a week. The caster oil should help your dryness.
Really what changed my hair best was taking biotin, using a water filter in the shower and not using hot tools. Oh and stop putting a ponytail in it. I think putting that much castor oil on the hair and scalp is a bit much becouse how thick and viscous castor oil is and how hard it is to remove it. Then I rinse with water and the results are amazingly moisturized, shiny hair and my scalp feels sooo good! But only use castor oil if you have dry scalp and hair! Castor oil has to be used once or twice maximum per week, applied in scalp, middle and ends and comb. And it's preferable not keep it overnight, just 2 hours minimum before washing. And because its too thick oil you can mix it with almond oil which is lighter. The parts has to be 1:2. 1 part castor and 2 parts almond. They also have to be cold pressed. And optional be heated some minutes before applying.
My hair is like this and I switched to sulfate free conditioning-shampoo (if it’s a shampoo that requires a separate conditioner-it always seemed to strip too many oils during the wash. So I prefer a combo for my hair). Once a month (maybe twice a month but too often isn’t good. It’s the same as taking too much of any vitamin) I use a flaxseed hair mask. This gives my hair an AMAZING feel and look. I use two cups of water, bring to a boil, add 1/2cup flaxseed. Simmer until you get a white froth/foam on the water and then strain. Use the gel that you strain from the seeds to gently rub through your scalp and hair. Let it sit for an hour. Then wash with a gentle sulfate free conditioning shampoo. DO NOT USE HEAT to dry your hair. Use cool air to dry and if you’re drying naturally, be sure to flip your hair around often to give it lift. Taking hair, skin, & nails vitamins and getting my hair cut with “textured” ends rather than layers also really helped me as well. Hope this helps someone! I wish you all well with finding what works best for you! 🙂
Vivi Lavi Oh hullo, I usually try to do it about once a month. But I’m flexible with it depending on if I feel like my hair needs the boost (or doesn’t). I actually got the recipe from TH-camr alexandrasgirlytalk, but bc I don’t like to use shampoo that strips my natural oils, I tweaked the recipe so I wasn’t adding oils to my hair either. 🙂

Baking soda and shampoo, mixed in your hand, will remove the greasy feeling of the castor oil. I do a castor oil treatment every two weeks overnight. I wear a disposable shower cap to contain the oil. I also use 2 towels, to protect my pillows.
flynn malin don’t use baking soda that often, you are definitely going to destroy your hair in the long run. It will get extremely dry and straw like. Baking soda is good for you if you use it literally twice a year :)
@@ElsieMarina I beg to differ with you. I have been following this protocol, since 1998, well over 22 years. My hair is. NOT like straw. It is very well-conditioned, and beautiful. I have been doing my own hair, and know what works for me. If your hair is like straw, you have failed to use a natural conditioner such as castor oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, or olive oil. You can even use regular mayonnaise, to condition your hair. I started with mayo, every 2 weeks overnight, as described. The baking soda is used to remove the greasiness. It does not strip your hair, of being moisturized. After you shampoo with the baking soda and shampoo mixture, follow with your normal conditioner. Follow that, with your normal styling procedure. Your hair will be gorgeous.
@@flynnmalin just a tip. Try it.it works.first put shampoo on your hair and rub it in but WITHOUT any water. Then you step under the water and wash.all the oil will remove itself without using bicarbonate. Then you can put more shampoo for a second wash or conditioner.either way your oil is already gone.
When you use castor oil on your eyelashes and eyebrows, it says it takes 6-8 weeks of daily application before you can really see a difference. So it could take a bit more time. I've also heard that it won't really multiply your hairs, but it will make it come in thicker and darker so it gives the impression of more hair. And stronger, so it can be more voluminous. I've used it sporadically (once a weekish) for a few months and some of my thinner spots in the front are growing back (I had a bad run-in with a haircare line for curly hair which burnt off my thinner hairs). I apply it hanging my head upside down so my hair shafts won't get in the way of the massage. Overall, it definitely works but it requires a bit of patience to see initial results. It does crazy stuff for my eyelashes though.
In our home, great results with lashes and brows in 30 days. Apply evenly, as lashes grow thicker wherever castor oil is applied the thickest. Also recommend cold pressed organic castor oil. Do not heat the oil. Warm it, if you must, but only warm the oil you are applying for your treatment. Oils lose their good properties easily, especially with heat exposure.
If my hair grew an inch a month, I'd reach my goal length within six months--with a trim. I use a lot if natural stuff on my hair, including oils, biotin, and a satin sleep cap every night. There was a noticeable difference in just thirty days. Very cool.
Castor is thick and should be mixed with a carrier oil, coconut or almond oil. Use moderately, coz the castor oil doesn't come out easy. Sprinkle gram flour or rice flour on the scalp before shampooing. it absorbs the oil and you will only have to shampoo once.
Thank you for taking the time to do this experiment in order for the rest of us to observe the results and make a decision whether or not to go ahead and try this. Not like many other presenters who give false information to the desperate people in this world watching videos hoping that their hair will grow thick and fast. No doubt their hair has grown more while months of watching videos. It's a matter of seeking out genuine information and ACTING upon it.
I use castor oil with coconut oil as the carrier oil. It improves the quality of the hair. But of course, for hair to grow faster, longer and better, eating right is equally important. I've started taking few supplements now. Hoping for better hair results now. Fingers crossed.

Your before and after is impressive. It’s definitely longer, it’s fuller, and looks a bit denser on the hairline. Castor Oil is GREAT for so many things. Hair growth is guaranteed! I’m glad that it helped. Keep going
several people have mentioned it already but from my experience of using Head&shoulders for more than 2 years. It's one of the harshest and strongest shampoos out there. It dries out the scalp as a result and ditching that brand was one of the good things I did for my hair.
I lost my hair after baby. But now I finally find meds for my hair. I was sceptical when read reviews on azon but price was cheap so I try and now can't stop use it. Now I use it almost 5 month and change my hair a lot. I can send my picture and you can see hair before and after. It's amazing and will help you too. I'm pretty sure. Propidren with saw palmetto.
Castoir oil is sticky so you should mix it with another oil..part your hair and pour it then massage your scalp. It is also difficult to wash out, so dilute 1/2 cup white vinegar in a large bowl and after shampooing rinse your hair with the vinegar water by dipping your head in the bowl (use a plastic bowl then pour the rest on the back of your hair. It is also good for your scalp and makes the hair shiny.
If you want to get the oil off easier you could try mixing it with another oil like a carrier oil, for instance argan oil? Also using too much castor oil will cause the opposite effect, a little goes a long way. Less is more here ❤ I'm also on a hair growth and strengthening journey so good luck to everyone else who is also doing the same!!
Based on the microscope images, it appears that you have seborrheic dermatitis along the front of your hair line. This can be observed by slight redness and sebum deposits. Conversely, the mid scalp appears white and healthy. The hairs appear finer at the frontal hairline, indicative that the sebum buildup might be leading to temporary hair fall. I would recommend getting a prescription for a 2% ketoconazole shampoo. The Head and Shoulders shampoo might be too drying leading to greater oil production. Some over the counter shampoos that work well for seborrheic dermatitis would be Tgel or Free and Clear shampoo 2% Pyrithione Zinc. Be careful with the use of castor oil. This could potentially lead to hair fall considering that you might have seborrheic dermatitis. The oil can clog up the follicles making it hard for the hair to grow. My recommendation to consult with a dermatologist so that you can have a proper treatment. Natural products can work for people who do not have any scalp conditions but be cautious.
The problem is you used a mix of castor oil and coconut oil coconut oil tends to clog the pores and doesn't suit oily scalp + how will you know which oil helped? Why didn't you try 100% pure castor oil? In addition: you're using H&S which is filled with silicones and mineral oil that again clog the pores and builds up on the scalp.
From my experience you gotta use it constantly for about 2 months, thats when you see the difference. I used this on my baby hairs, and it got thicker and more are growing out. Another is eating foods that will help, like eggs, almonds and fish. Another is washing in cold water. My brother has gotten bald due to this thyroid and he did this for a month and his hair grew back.

Nice improvement! Wear a satin bonnet and/or satin pillowcase when you sleep. Some essential oils could also be beneficial for your scalp. Also, look into rice water rinses. Have an awesome day!
@@elizabethmiller7884 You make it with just rice and water. Soak about 1 Tbsp of rice in about 2-3 cups of water. Let that soak for about 1-2 days. Strain and then use in your hair. I usually add some hair conditioner to mine.
I was born with a very fine hair up till now in my 60s. Came to know recently that mixed castor & coconut oil is effective. Could you please recommend a reliable shop here in Makati selling pure and organic castor oil? And if there are no adverse effects. How often should I use it especially if mixed with pure & organic coconut oil? Proper ratio? Grateful for your help.🙏
I haven’t tried it on my hair, but y’all castor oil is not a joke. My sister would use it on her eyelashes and had to start waxing the top of her cheekbones because it would drip/smear down onto her face. Thanks for the video!!
Disclaimer: my sister is a hairy brown woman. She already had hair (not your average peach fuzz) on her cheekbones, as do I, but it became darker and thicker with the castor oil.
If your hair is thin, it's probably because the oil is heavy and weighs down your hair. You can definitely try aloe vera like another person commented. It has water like consistency and very light. When I used it on my brows they grew very fast. Onion juice is also great for hair growth but has a smell if you can tolerate. If you mix aloe vera with castor oil it also helps lighten the consistency. Hope this helps!
Castor oil is the BOMB! I could never grow my hair long...past my shoulders. I have been using it for over 2 yrs now and I am 54 and my hair is down to my waist!!!!! It really works and I have told lots of my friends!!!!👍👍JUST DO IT!
Nope. Thickness is genetic( thickness means the diameter of the hair shaft) . But if you are talking about density( number of hairs per square centimeter) that can be increased through growth aids like teas and castor oil)
@@politereminder6284 Nope. Thickness and density are genetic. Unless you are excessivley losing hair due to malnutrition or an allergy to something you're putting on your scalp or in your body (or stress).
@@WakeupgrandowlNot entirely true about genetics. Density can be enhanced and maximized. I started doing homemade herbal rinses and tonics for my scalp. I was shocked by how much denser my hair became overnight, how much more new growth I got and how much more resilient my strands became. My hair had had the same density my whole life, so one cannot claim that I had had some kind of a health problem or deficiency causing the lower density levels.. I was shocked by how many new hairs suddenly sprung up and by how little shedding I had afterwards Apparently, the teas extend the growth stage and suspend the shedding stage, so my hair is definitely denser that it's ever been before My teas include onion peel, and various dry herbs I have in my spice rack like oregano, basil, rosemary, moringa, bay leaf etc. *The difference is night and day. Same genetics, enhanced results.*
Wow I can def see the difference in how your hair bounced more at the end of the 30 days. One thing I've heard about using oil for hair is that it's best absorbed into wet/damp hair since that is when the follicles are more open- wondering if you came across that info too in your research. Anyways, great video!
Like others recommended, I would ditch the head and shoulders shampoo, and next time dilute the castor oil with a lighter oil. There are several out there. It will be easier to apply and also have the same - if not more because of the second oil - benefits. Lots of love!
@@lineawad2903 it's too harsh to be used all the time, and deep cleans your scalp. Imagine exfoliating your face all the time. First, you start getting oily way too fast. Then, you start getting a sore and itchy scalp/skin. Then you might even develop some skin conditions. If you must use head and shoulders, use it max once a week, but my recommendation would be to actually get a medicated shampoo and ditch the head and shoulders one if the reason why you were first using it was because ofd dandruff. Again, medicated shampoo, only once a week

Hi!! I've been using castor oil for approximately 10 month and i stopped because my hair was often oily, but the result was AMAZING!! So many baby hair like a second haircut :) The good thing that i're recently figured out that castor oil is very well and washed out by hair conditioner. Just use a good deal of it before using shampoo. Hope, this is useful for you :)
You will so your head good if.you use a brush and brush the top of your head every night before bed. You need to stimulate your scalp. If you are too gentle on your scalp it never gets stimulated. Did you notice most men go bald on top of head but not the sides. When you go to bed you lay on sides and back of head so it gets stimulated every night. If.you stimulate the top you will get thicker. Also if you can get one of those head massage tools and use it while the oil is on your head that will help too. My hair was cut really short one.time I hated it. I applied oil to my scalp and used massager on my head and it grew really fast when I stopped doing it my hair.grew slow like it usually does.

Wow I need you in my life - please start a haircare chanel or blog - or better yet tell me you have one
Great advice ! 😘
Misha Bear If I exfoliate my eyelids before putting the castor oil on, will it still get comodones and milia?

If you haven't already tried it, Henna is a great option to make your hair feel thick and healthy. It comes in a bunch of reddish brown shades or even black (although the black one could contain a certain ingredient which you should avoid). Since you already have dark hair the color wouldn't show up too much and therefore shouldn't be a huge concern. More importantly if you do try it out, make sure to use a brand that is all natural and uses 100% henna and or cassia plant. Head and shoulder shampoo is what is causing the problem.
True a hundred percent!!which company ma'am ?
Can you tell the biotin products u used please? It'd very helpful.
I tried castor oil and others as a overnight mask and oh yes it was awesome! But the other things showed more growth and the oil caused me to break out if it gets on my face too much.
You got to be careful when you take biotin every day as a supplement, it makes people break out!
I’m having that issue now ! I’m shoulder length hair and I keep it in a ponytail but seeing breakage, I don’t want to leave it down because it will rub collar and fabric and break anyway... 😢 any suggestions

hi, what did you do
Horsetail and He Shou Wu
I think putting that much castor oil on the hair and scalp is a bit much becouse how thick and viscous castor oil is and how hard it is to remove it.
I just use a drop in a bottle with water and conditioner, shake it very well and pour it on my hair, after I used shampoo. Then I rinse with water and the results are amazingly moisturized, shiny hair and my scalp feels sooo good!
But only use castor oil if you have dry scalp and hair! It worked wonders for my hair, nothing could keep it moisturized, I am so amazed!
Water softening filters for showers. Just in case you have hard water in your area.
Reduces hair fall out, oilyness, and frizzyness. Oh, and scalp itchyness too.
Plus your skin won't feel as dry in the winter.
I use castor oil most of the times mixed with another solution of oils that I created. Agree your hair looks to have volume after 30 days if all is equal. Great 👍 job hair needs the right oil combination #teamcastoroil. Depends on how aggressive you want to see the difference long term would work it either once a week for your hair type and twice a month for mine.
which oils u mix???

@@TinaTomato I've found that using witch hazel on a cotton ball really helps clean my face, too! It's amazing.
For acne flares, I put a dab of clay facemask (kaolin clay has sulfur) on the pimple & sleep with it on overnight helps a lot, too! I think Acne free has a decent, inexpensive face mask that works fine. Also, u can put a dab of triple antioxidant ointment on just the blemish heals it, too! Look up Niacinamide online. The Ordinary sells a low cost bottle. Very good stuff! Paula's Choice has a $40-50 bottle at 20%. I've found it shrinks pores and makes the blackheads dissapear. You should warm up the oil before applying.
Also use a better quality shampoo than Head and Shoulders
@@sultanachowdhury6610 You can use Live Clean if it's available in your city. It's inexpensive and has different variety for different hair types and even dry scalp.
Yes, definitely warm up the oil! It will be easier to remove. I microwave 1-1.5 tbsp on a small plate for 10 seconds
Zaffira
It’s better to put it in a applicator bottle and put the bottle in warm/hot water. Then leave it for a couple of minutes.
yes. warm water to warm it up as microwaving the oil results in some of its nutrients dissapating!
I heard that warm water is not good on the hair you have to have a cool water on it.Is that true?
Castor oil has to be used once or twice maximum per week, applied in scalp, middle and ends and comb. And it's preferable not keep it overnight, just 2 hours minimum before washing. And because its too thick oil you can mix it with almond oil which is lighter. The parts has to be 1:2. 1 part castor and 2 parts almond. They also have to be cold pressed. And optional be heated some minutes before applying.
your hair really does look so much thicker and healthier! I love it!!
Hi there, how often do you use the flaxseed hair mask? I just started using it.
Did you continue to put it on your eyelashes and brows? Your hair does look healthier! Way to go!! 👏🏾
I just bought organic Unrefined Castor Oil & I’m about to use it on my scalp for the second time. I have a lot of hair loss around my hairline, so I’m going to focus on growing hair there. I’ll update this post to tell you all if it has worked!
so did it work lol?
One of most simplest and gorgeous TH-camr I ever seen
I could see a difference between day 2 & day 33 immediately. Keep it up.
Would like to see a 3 & 6 month update

Hair growth is guaranteed!

several people have mentioned it already but from my experience of using Head&shoulders for more than 2 years. It's one of the harshest and strongest shampoos out there. It dries out the scalp as a result and ditching that brand was one of the good things I did for my hair.

To be honest with you, your hair is VERY! BEAUTIFUL!!! ......so healthy and naturally thick and shiny. Thank you for demonstrating castor oil:-)
I love how honest this video is! 👏👏👏 Excellent review!
The problem is you used a mix of castor oil and coconut oil
coconut oil tends to clog the pores and doesn't suit oily scalp + how will you know which oil helped?
Why didn't you try 100% pure castor oil?
In addition: you're using H&S which is filled with silicones and mineral oil that again clog the pores
and builds up on the scalp.

From my experience you gotta use it constantly for about 2 months, thats when you see the difference. I used this on my baby hairs, and it got thicker and more are growing out.
She already had hair (not your average peach fuzz) on her cheekbones, as do I, but it became darker and thicker with the castor oil.

it has something to with your type of hair
Same i also loose haira
Christina i also have the same experiences.. I only use aloe vera gel on my scalp.
Yess same for me too :(((
If your hair is thin, it's probably because the oil is heavy and weighs down your hair.

My hair is very thin rip.
Also if u massage your scalp with the oil ( while upside down) it will stimulate growth and blood flow as well
It does look like it's gotten a little more volume in the after picture.
If you have thin hair, it's maybe your diet. Try biotin, collagen and iron foods.
Nope. Thickness is genetic( thickness means the diameter of the hair shaft) . But if you are talking about density( number of hairs per square centimeter) that can be increased through growth aids like teas and castor oil)
@@politereminder6284 can you recommend any teas?
I was shocked by how many new hairs suddenly sprung up and by how little shedding I had afterwards Apparently, the teas extend the growth stage and suspend the shedding stage, so my hair is definitely denser that it's ever been before
My teas include onion peel, and various dry herbs I have in my spice rack like oregano, basil, rosemary, moringa, bay leaf etc. *The difference is night and day. Same genetics, enhanced results.*
susanne anique please share a recipe? it would be great.
Lots of love!
what's the problem with head and shoulders?
@@lineawad2903 it's too harsh to be used all the time, and deep cleans your scalp. Imagine exfoliating your face all the time. First, you start getting oily way too fast. Then, you start getting a sore and itchy scalp/skin. Then you might even develop some skin conditions. If you must use head and shoulders, use it max once a week, but my recommendation would be to actually get a medicated shampoo and ditch the head and shoulders one if the reason why you were first using it was because ofd dandruff. Again, medicated shampoo, only once a week
Im using Onions juice Twice daily...it helps your hairfall..
And also you can use gheeblend on your hair

The good thing that i're recently figured out that castor oil is very well and washed out by hair conditioner. Just use a good deal of it before using shampoo. Hope, this is useful for you :)
You got pictures of a before and after?
Good luck. Great video.
Day 33 certainly looks thicker & healthier, as well as more bounce which I'm putting down to the increase in thickness. Well done! Your eyebrows also look thicker/fuller.
