0:00 Introduction: Castor oil for skin and hair
    0:19 Ricinoleic acid benefits
    2:52 Cold-pressed castor oil
3:19 The best castor oil for your hair
In this video, we’re going to talk about the benefits of castor oil. Castor oil contains the compound ricinoleic acid, which acts as a remedy for many issues involving the skin and hair.
Castor oil can be very beneficial for the following concerns:
    • Dry skin
    • Brittle hair
    • Dry hair
    • Hair loss
    • Cracked heels
    • Stretch marks
    • Scars
    • Dermatitis
    • Joint pain
    • Acne
    • Styes
Ricinoleic acid in castor oil has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties and is a potent antioxidant. Castor oil is a natural conditioner for the skin and hair, so it works as an excellent moisturizer. It can also rejuvenate skin affected by sun damage.
Castor oil has antifungal properties, so it works as a remedy for toenail fungus.
Castor oil is easy to find and relatively inexpensive! Look for cold-pressed castor oil without a hexane solvent.
Jamaican black castor oil is the best for hair. It stimulates hair growth, adds shine, and can also help with alopecia.

I used it in my hen's eye after I caught a hawk on her back pecking at it. Her cornea was torn up, and deep! I couldn't think of anything else to do. I’ve been using castor oil off and on for a few months now, but at the beginning of March I decided to use it every day on my face, hands and the belly button method. I’m 44 and blessed with pretty good genes so I don’t have a lot of wrinkles yet, but my hands were looking less than youthful and always dry. After 20 straight days of using it on my hands, they are almost back to youthful! The bags under my eyes are diminished and my face looks and feels so much smoother! As for using it in my belly button, I’ve noticed that I’m more regular and it’s easier to go. I’ve also noticed a reduction in bloating and I’m noticing I’m having less aches and pains in general. I myself use it topically on my eyelids(use a cotton swab) to dab on then spread over eyelids, eyebrows, under eyes. Lips. Use a bit more for face, hairline...put on feet and wear soxs till it soaks in. A capful in belly button.
      All done just before bed.
Injest only in capsule form cause it tastes very terrible.
Start slow as it may cause some healing crises.

Gallbladder..you staved off gallbladder removal with castor oil?! My gallbladder too full of stones now to do the olive oil and lemon fast (heard of this one right?) w/ surgery removal as the only option now...and NOW you tell of this! OMG ..it makes sense bc I already have organic castor oil and use it on all these already mentioned things but I never connected it's effectiveness to my gallbladder stones..OMG! Again, thank you for mentioning this, thank you for your story.

Thank you dr. Berg for posting about castor oil. I discovered it by accident, back in 2017, I grew my hair so long as it saved it from dryness and breaking, using it as a mask before washing, I also mix it with the shampoo it blends perfectly. But this winter, when my face got so dry during the cold dry days, no moisturizer would help. I started putting castor oil on my face in the evening. I wake up with fresh skin and smooth skin. My skin is stronger and doesn't get as dry anymore.
It helped me together with a warm pad or massager to heal my back pain. Also, I started rubbing it into my feet before sleep then put my feet in woven socks, until it absorbs. That was 3 months ago, and now my every night routine.I never ever since my childhood had such soft almost baby feet. Castor oil is amazing. Sticky and doesn't smell the best, yet absorbs in such a great way and is so helpful! When I give myself those treatments I sleep so well and wake up feeling better.

I think its important to emphasize to not lather castor oil into long hair because it can become matted together and very difficult if not impossible to undo even with shampoo. I once read about a young lady with beautiful long hair and she had to cut it all off because it was one big clump. I guess my main point is don't use too much it can be hard to remove. And try to aim for oiling the scalp and avoid contact with hair directly.

I've been applying castor oil initially day and night for two weeks on my stubborn ring finger wart. It started out tiny then grew larger, had a derm remove it, came back. But now it's much flatter and I apply only at night with covered bandaid. Plus I use it on my numerous skin tags and added to my lotions for added benefits. Will wait to see how it does on my 76-year-old lashes and brows, but I know this'll take time. Late to the castor oil game but love it!

Castor oil is also a potent natural laxative, mix one teaspoon with hot milk and have it 1 hr before sleep, you'll see the results next day.
however do not do this daily as it can over lubricate the colon
