I experienced COVID that lasted a good 10 days. At first, I believed I was fine but I began to lose more hair than normal. After doing some research, I've come to realize it’s from the stress my body had during that time and also due to the shampoo that I was using. So I began doing meditation, yoga everyday and changed my shampoo and conditioner to littleextraa cooconion anti hair fall kit. And today I don't face any hair fall. Thank you for this video! Tip to de-stress: make sure you are getting 8 hours of sleep That was the leading cause of my hair thining: I would stay up gaming late at night, sleeping 3 to 4 hours a night and trying to catch up on sleep on my weekends off. It took 2 weeks but as soon as I abstained from my addiction and started training and sleeping 8 to 10 hours a night again consistently my hair grew back to its normal thickness. Watch your caffeine consumption too: it blocks your body's ability to process the chemical element selenium responsible for skin, hair and nail health. Probably best to quit caffeine too
I had the exact same issue, i would game or go on twitch for 8-10 hours a day. I had to stop this because i wanted to paint my room, had to disconnect all entertainment appliances to my room, because of me being a noob at painting it is taking forever me to paint my walls, at least this giving me 8 hours of sleep now 😂 😂and now i am noticing in my receded area, baby hair coming out!

The most hair loss and greying I've experienced in my life had been 1) during the time i was Working on my thesis 2) during the corona Lockdown. Both very stressful times...
I was assistant director of a 12 room surgery department…I did that for 5 years and left because of the stress and lack of work life balance. Now I’m a registered nurse in a clinic part time. Much better for stress levels and hopefully my hair appreciates it. Did any of you have your gray hair go back to making color again? I am a woman. I have tried rosemary oil religiously for six months. Also tried Nutrafol for Six months. Neither worked for me. Amazon’s Minixidil and Rogaine both worked amazingly. Just my experience. For women, you just use it once at night.
So glad I found you, doctor, or better, that God led me to you. You are such a nice person and I like your humour! Also I love your testimony about the lady you decided to help while God leading you! Greetings from Germany. Be blessed, Dr. Youn and thank you for your advices 🙌🏻
My mom has always had thin hair and stress plus a form of psoriasis on the scalp is really bothering her, uncomfortable, and more and more hair loss. I'm watching this for her
Hi. Even my mom had severe hairfall a couple of months ago. We consulted a dermatologist and it worked wonders. First he asked to various blood tests like vitamin D, B12, thyroid, Ferritin, CBC etc and then prescribed multi vitamins and steroids. You too may consult a good dermatologist. God bless.

If you have no tension about being bald then why are you posting on a relatively obscure youtube video on tips how to thicken already thinning hair? LOL
I tried Mediation every night for 15‐30 mins before bedtime (no later than 11p) and I am seeing the results by the 2nd wk. I hope this will work for you
There is no point going into the next point if you can't do the first. Nothing is impossible so start with that first. Stressing releases cortisol which can increase testosterone...which decrease follicle size.
My hair had started falling out like crazy. I mean, it was everywhere, all the time, and it filled the drain more than I had ever seen! For me, two things stopped my hair falling out. One, I stopped using Selsun Blue with selenium. Boom. Within about a week, hair stopped falling out. (I had read that the selenium could cause hair to fall out excessively, and in my case, it seems that was the problem. Funny, I was only using it because I did really like how it made my hair itself do, not because I had dandruff or dry scalp.) And second, I started 2000 mg fish oil daily, and I soon began to grow lots of new baby hair around my hairline. My hair does not seem thicker, but it has stopped getting thinner. However, by starting the two interventions at the same time, I have no way to determine if stopping the old shampoo, or starting the fish oil, or both together, is the reason my hair stopped falling out.
Another one is hair color and hair lightener. Cosmetologist here, over 30 years experience, and yes, it thins your hair, especially if you color for years. I'm letting my silver grow out and my hair is gradually becoming thicker.
After having COVID..for the second time, being hospitalized and injected with God knows what for over a week, I gained some weight but the worse aftermath is the hair loss. I have always have so much hair, long healthy, very strong haor, now out of nothing I'm going ball. Today I sit down and cry a little, not understanding why my infectious MD did not mentined this to me. Any how, I researched just to see if it was there anything I can do to help regrow my hair..kinda hopeless. I'm so glad I found your video. I'm so grateful. Thank you Dr. Youn
Periods of stress is when I find hair on my pillow and in my shower drain. I've found being at ease and having a constant actively positive outlook in the face of adverse situations gives me better sleep and less hair on the pillow.
I use Nutrafol, bondiboost growth system which they also offer procapil for hair growth and my hair was thinning like crazy and now it’s thick as it was when I was a teen and finally growing again. My issues major stress, bleaching hair, I did a strict keto diet, and washed 2-3 times a week. I also have a family history of thinning hair. I cut back to bleaching only every 10 weeks washing my hair only once a week and adding the things above it took about 6 months to get where I am now. I do believe the vitamins helped a lot and using more natural shampoo’s.
@@alexaluma6104 I normally just use agadir oil it’s a little bit heavy and not everyone likes that but it seals my ends and leaves my hair soft. You could also try a co-wash it’s a mix of shampoo and conditioner and it’s easier on the hair. I personally don’t use Iron pills but I have read lots about iron deficiency and hair loss but my problems seems to be more stress related. Also update my hair is still getting thicker and growing but if I miss the Nutrafol for more than a week my hair loss will go from those random hairs to slowly increasing in loss. This may be due to probiotics in mine that are supposed to help with stress and gut health.
Linda M oh, thank you for replying. I see that you suffer more from stress that's making you lose your hair, I'm the opposite. I'm losing my hair due to iron and vitamin deficiency, but it's not working. I just asked to see if you suffer from the same thing but I guess not. Anyways, thanks for replying :)

I had the same problem. I had iron deficiency. Rosemary and Peppermint oil in organic castor oil nightly grew my hair back. Also a TON of organic veggies.
@@creativegirl9710 truuuue! I use to be vegetarian for a while, even went vegan for a very short while. My hair was falling and grew back thin, my nails were brittle and my skin dry and itchy af. After introducing poultry, meat and butter back to my diet, also Omega3, everything got better. Even my hairdresser mentioned that my hair felt thicker. Suitable diet is a good solution, but it's not a fast one. Took 4-6 months to reverse the damage done on the plant based diet, didn't suit me at all! My body works better on a omnivore diet, been on it for the past 3 or so years, never going back.
Try and buy organic/free range meat products and eggs if you can. Factory farmed animals are choc-full of antibiotics, hormones, pesticides and stress hormones. You don't want to be putting that in your body.

VERY IMPORTANT ABOUT ROSEMARY ESSENTIAL OIL: NEVER APPLY IT STRAIGHT TO YOUR SCALP! always use diluted in a carrier oil, between 1-2%. a good oil for hair is coconut or castor oil (this one also helps with hair growth). and massage the scalp.
I left a comment 9 mo ago saying I was going to try the rosemary oil. I'm happy to say that I had my first haircut today since and the stylist checked my hair and I have a lot of new growth! Of course it's got my hair looking a little crazy but only until it gets enough growth to grow longer ☺️ Thank you Dr. Youn! Organic rosemary oil is pennies on the dollar compared to Rogaine and it's a gift from God to treat our bodies with natural remedies when possible.

Hi doctor, how about drinking collagen in the morning, taking biotin and eating a lots of vegetables and salad? Please also make a video on what time is the right tome to take vitamins, like vitamin C, biotin, multi vitamins? Thank you. 😊
There isn’t a specific time to take them but it’d be easier to do in the morning get it out the way for the day. Do be mindful that some vitamins have to be taken with food. Most biotin vitamins I’ve come across need to be taken with food. If it’s a multi vitamin most likely not. Also, certain vitamins can’t be taken with certain drinks (acidic drinks not liquor lol) or there are some that work better with a certain drink.

What an amazing video . I unfortunately destroyed my hair when I did a perm back when I was 23 . It definitely made my hair thinner after . Now my problem is my premature early menopause . My hair has gotten more thinner and very dry … I’m definitely going to try some of these natural remedies. Feeling very thankful !!
Hi Dr. youn. I am 56 almost 57 years old and I noticed my hairline was receding and hair in general seemed to be thinning. I started Nutrafol just over a month ago I started and have already noticed new hair growing. Thanks for the great advice.
Excellent video. I use tea tree oil for early male pattern baldness. After 90 days, new hair growth was noted, and as an added bonus, the "hot spots" on my scalp resolved.
I've seen a lot of thin hair over the years due to breakage by over shampooing and damaging hair. First and easiest thing to do is skip some shampoos and only use a wet comb or brush to detangle gently when wet. Wet hair stretches twice it's usual length and if overstretched too much it won't bounce back, it'll break. Also keratin!! Lots of keratin.
This is the fifth video I have watched and they are great. I am retired and live on a fixed income; it is unusual to find a Practishoner who has a line of products but does not push them. Thank you for your honesty. Blessings
I have had PCOS for 30yrs. Thinning hair is a constant battle. I do notice if I up my intake of milk, it improves some. I have also tried saw palmetto, after about 6 months noticed a slight improvement. Going to try that supplement for women. I wish I could get to the root of the problem and correct that instead of treating the symptoms.

After much research into these "low light lasers," I discovered that they are simply 660nm red LED lights. You can buy a grow-type light on Amazon for less than $30. Get a $20 light fixture. And you're all set. After only a month, I am already seeing new hair growth. 👍🏻

I don't know about PRP for hair but after suffering with Plantar Fasciitis for 3 years and multiple podiatrist and PT visits I decided to try PRP. It worked. I'm cured. It usually takes 3 rounds but my PF was so bad I had to do six treatments. It's been four years since and the PF has not returned. I can even go back to my 10 mile walks with no pain.
Noticed that my hair has been thinning due to working in a grocery store during a pandemic and moving home as well. Distress is pretty much not a solution right now.
I started loosing a lot of hair after stressful abusive marriage. But I can not really control my stress! I will start taking the vitamins and oil. Thank you
Stress causes hormone changes in the body and that causes the thinning hair. I have to see the study on rosemary oil and see the sample size etc and how long they did the study for.
It acts just like minodixil except natural. It opens blood flow to the follicle. Now I realize in video he explains this. But I use the topical rosemary oil and it really does work although very strong smell whew.
My hair was falling out. I started to take finasteride 1mg and it help. Another thing is I left to the country side in Puerto Rico for a few months. My skin looked much better, hair grew faster and thicker and I even felt better. Honestly I think it's the way we lives with all the population, bad food and just unhealthy life styles that make thin hair, bad skin, teeth and most of ower other problems.
Try St tropica vitamins. Natural, cruelty free and they seem to be working. 25 USD for 1 month supply. If you buy 2 months you can send it back within 100 days for full refund. Also if you send them before and after pics with review you get a month free supply. I have only been using them for 1 month and already noticed lots of new growth!!
To sum it up: 1. If Telogen effluvium: de- stress 2. For hair loss in some aging women? Nutrition. 3. Rosemary oil instead of minoxidil (Validity of the study? Conflict of interest?)
I use Jamaican black castor oil, or black cummin seed oil. Both grow hair, especially good for edges. It takes awhile with Jamaican blk seed oil but it has other properties as well. For me, cummin seed was faster and also has many other good uses. Look it up.Will try the rosemary oil as well! Why not?Good to know about natural sources.
Roseana Castillo Rosemary oil usually has to be diluted with a carrier oil, so you can mix a few drops right in with the either of the oils you already use.
I made my own hair oils with Castor Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Rosehip Oil, Olive Oil, and Coconut Oil and its really done well!! I put it on every 2 days during the day for about 4 hrs then wash it out. I noticed my hair growing back, in about 2 months.
Stress really does cause hair thinning and falling. I was 13 when I started reading novels that are depressing and made me stressed for weeks and months and I'm always overthinking. And I noticed some of my hairs are falling out because of stressing myself out from reading novels.
Ketoconazole shampoo & Caffeine shampoo work. They thicken the hair follicle. Men can add Finasteride 1mg tablet & men & women can add Rogaine. Microneedling & Derminator also work.
I’ve actually began to lose my edges for the last 2-3 years. I finally decided to make sure to wet my hair a bit, put some hair oils in my head and do a gentle massage every night. It has been a little over a month and my edges are growing back!!! I hope to see a vast improvements of growth in the coming months. I will save this video just Incase I need a plan B. I followed his advice for years I have had normal thickness hair till mid 50’s I took these supplements now my hair is mid back so thick I get charged extra at the salon for any services. Nobody is more of a snake oil skeptic than myself!! I’m telling you this works
I am surpriced you didnt mention scalp massage, as I have used it very successfully and have done the following to restore the hair I lost: scalp massage everyday for 15-20 minutes, collagen supplement 2x per day, using the Taoist soap bar for hair growth 2-3 times a week, fragrance free shampoo on other days, nettle tea everyday. This combination was prescribed to me by an oriental medical doctor, not a western doctor, and have never looked back. I have since helped all my friends and family to improve their hair with the above regime. Results took about 2-3 months to fully show, but my mom noticed my hair improvement on maybe the first month, but i didn't believe her that time. Anyway this is just my story, I thought I would leave my 2 cents.
Thankfully I was blessed with a ridiculous amount of hair, so when it started falling out in baseball sized chunks it wasn't that noticeable. It was vit D deficiency(when covid hit I started spending way more time indoors, months at a time). Since I started taking a supplement my scalp & my face are so much happier! I'm going to add Rosemary Oil & see what happens!

Better nutrition and fitness dit the job for me. I used to have very thin hair and it's been better since I started taking my health seriously. No supplements, just proper macros did the trick. It might have been because I wasn't eating enough proteins since I don't eat meat and now every day I make sure I get enough proteins (protein shakes help a lot).

I’m so sorry Sana, I am actually 65 and although we think my hair should probably be thinning now, I’ve had alopecia for a few years, so it’s been falling out gradually. Even though I’m grateful for it just falling out gradually, it still has made me feel numb with the thought that eventually I won’t have any hair. But I have always said there’s always someone worse off than me, so I’ve not shed a tear over my alopecia. I’m going to try vitamin D as I have occasionally been quite low on this after blood tests. Also I will try Rosemary oil, and then just hope for the best. I’m not under any illusion though, as I know this kind of alopecia has no cure, but I’ll never stop trying. xx
Try using walnut oil on your scalp when you sleep at night. I did this and saw new hair growth within about 10 days. Not only that, it was coming in my natural color and not grey anymore. I swear by it!!
I started having super bad anxiety from Sept 2021 -- post quarantine + back to college My hair always fell out when my stress peaked but as of late, past 3-4 months, my hair started falling out and I can see my scalp in places I previously couldn't Really hope I can grow it back😭
I looked at my reflection on the computer screen and started freaking out. The balding patterns are becoming more evident. Hopefully these options work.
I took biotin since I did a lot of research and my hairfall was severe that I thought I'll get bald head. Now after 2 months of taking it I got enormous hair growth and there's no side effects on me.

I am a woman. I have tried rosemary oil religiously for six months. Also tried Nutrafol for Six months. Neither worked for me. Amazon’s Minixidil and Rogaine both worked amazingly. Just my experience. For women, you just use it once at night.
I fully restored the health of my hair with biotin and women's multivitamins. It took 2 years, but worth it.

God bless.

This selsun thing is so true...i used it worsens the quantity and quality of hair
Did you consume fish oil or apply fish oil to your hair ?

After having COVID..for the second time, being hospitalized and injected with God knows what for over a week, I gained some weight but the worse aftermath is the hair loss. I have always have so much hair, long healthy, very strong haor, now out of nothing I'm going ball. Periods of stress is when I find hair on my pillow and in my shower drain. I've found being at ease and having a constant actively positive outlook in the face of adverse situations gives me better sleep and less hair on the pillow.

@@adityabindal3163 yes, but stress induced hairloss is the same for both sexes.
I do believe the vitamins helped a lot and using more natural shampoo’s.
did you use vitamin and iron supplies and like rosemary oils for your hair?
I hope something I have shared helps in someway. Good luck.

VERY IMPORTANT ABOUT ROSEMARY ESSENTIAL OIL:
NEVER APPLY IT STRAIGHT TO YOUR SCALP! always use diluted in a carrier oil, between 1-2%.
a good oil for hair is coconut or castor oil (this one also helps with hair growth). and massage the scalp.

When and what to take vitamins with is very important!

Blessings
