Hey mate with lian li infinity fans if so tryna figure out if it would be compatible with the king 95 pro case in this configuration the 4 front fans would be 140mm reverse blade fans (so intake) the bottom 3 fans would be 120mm reverse blade fans (so intake) the top 3 120mm fans on the aio would be exhaust then the one on the back of the case is a exhaust curious if they could use the built in fan hub on the case or all would work with the included lian li fan hub in the 3 pack thanks heaps for letting me know
They're the best in terms of looks, but I find them to be very noisy outside of silent mode and they don't perform too well as case/radiator fans either in my opinion at least. Swapped them out for ARCTIC P12 PWM PST A-RGB eventually and my rig was silent and had better cooling. Installation is easy and fun but beware that if you use them with their Lian Li controller, they won't spin when the argb is plugged in unless you manually update the firmware. Which is quite a pain. Not too fond of the Lian Li software either and it's mandatory for the bling bling lighshow. I've seen worse though like Gigabyte's RGB Fusion 2.0. If these were dead silent like the ARCTIC P12 PWM PST A-RGB and had the infinity mirror on the back as well, they'd be the best case fans ever made.
Thanks for the video, I was trying to figure how if I needed to buy multiple 3 packs or if I just needed 1 3 pack and the rest singles. It looks like if I want 10 fans, 3 groups of 3 and a single fan for rear exhaust I can buy one 3 pack and 7 singles and be able to connect them all up to the controller. :)
So I want to buy 12 fans to my phanteks nv7 case. Upper 3 will come from corsair aio which I will not change. I need 9 more - 2 on the back, 3 at the bottom, 4 on the side. I want to get bottom and sides ones as reversed version and 2 on the back normal ones, but I dont see triple packs with reversed fans. So what i need to buy to make this working and connect all 9 fans to the same controller? 1 triple pack - 2 of them I will put on the back, and 1 somewehere else which sadly will not be reversed, and 6 single reversed fans for side and bottom? Will I be able to connect all 3 groups (4,3,2) to the controller and I will have all the necessary cables?
@@TheProvokedPrawn Yeah, ended up seeing it. Making a new build and want everything to be Armory crate control. Still not understanding how you get the lighting on the fans in the order you want.

So the single fan pack doesn't come with the proprietary flat cable that connects it to the controller? If you decide to use the controller and want to add more fans you have to keep buying the 3-packs?
So I just bought myself 2 packs of 3. My question becomes will they work as both intake and exhaust depending on how you set them? Or are they intake only and I have to buy something different for my exhaust? Sorry for the ignorance, I’m still new to all this
Yes, it depends on the direction you face them. The side with the infinity mirror is where air is pulled from, so if you set that facing outside your case then that's intake and if it faces inside then that's exhaust
for this lian i fan setup is it necessay our motherboard shoud have rgb/argb header or controller will handle everything? since my motherboard does not have any rgb header
Currently own the SL120 was just wondering how would you connect the infinity to an AIO that has 4 pin fan header so can use AIO software for fan curves , I currently have 3x SL120 on the radiator connected on the 4 pin Z73 AIO fan header and use NZXT Cam to set fan curves for them, I see the single pack SL Infinity has connector to use standered 4 pin what about for the LED it doesnt go into the Lian Li hub and has to go into motherboard ARGB, would prefer it to go into the Lian Li hub
When mirror side of the fan facing you like on the top of the tower in this video that means the air goes OUT or IN ?? and those fans on the front and on the bottom having logo on them are IN ?
If I wanna use L connect for the fans and strimers what software is okay to use for the motherboard lighting and other accesories? Ive read problems with asus sync being installed same time as well as others what are you using here for the ram and watercooler lights?
i'm a bit confused on the controller. I have 3 other aRGB items that are not fans. Is there anyway to run them through the controller and software as well? (gpu block, cpu block and distro plate)

Hello. I am looking to build a pc with the these fans. I really want to use a Corair icue H150i Elite. I've been searching online but can't find an answer to this question. With the controller that comes with a 3 pack of these Lian Li fans support said AIO? Meaning, can I connect the Corsair AIO to the Lian Li controller?
So the single fan comes with that split cable. Wouldn’t you be able to plug one end to rgb lian li controller and the other end to mb fan header? Si st least rgb still controlled with application
Thanks man, If i have more than 1 control box. Do i need to connect both of them to both usb ports on the motherboard or how do you connect 2 control boxes
Wait I thought that the controller can control up to 16 fans and you only have 10 so why would you need another controller for the rear fan to plug into instead of direct to the MB ARGB header? AlsoI am still confused as to what the splitter cable is actually for, is it if you wa to plug in a set of 3 fans and a single fan for a total of 4 fans into one connector on the lconnet control box?
I have a Galahad AIO 360 for the roof of my PC Build, planning on getting 3 infinity’s for the front. Will they both sync up RGB wise through that controller?
so can a single fan be connected directly to the motherboard headers? or does this require that proprietary hub? I'm trying to find an RGB fan that can connect right to the mobo headers and can be programmed via the bios
the only problem with the white fans is they have a black circle in the middle so that will be a deal breaker for me i need all white inly acception is silver
I have the o11 dynamic evo case and have 10 fans in total of the uni fan sl inf. I have 3 for intake on the bottom, 3 intake on the side, 1 exhaust on another side and 3 on top with my aio as exhaust. I have checked every cable and tried going on l connect 3 but it briefly said that the fans will only turn on after the cpu reaches 50 degrees so can anyone help me?

Thank you for this summary I'm going to save money and have good performance fans. Can the Arctic p12's turn the color orange?
Thanks for the video, I was trying to figure how if I needed to buy multiple 3 packs or if I just needed 1 3 pack and the rest singles. It looks like if I want 10 fans, 3 groups of 3 and a single fan for rear exhaust I can buy one 3 pack and 7 singles and be able to connect them all up to the controller. :)

Thanks this was super helpful
Does the fans (3 pack) come with a Lian li fan controller hub for the back?
Bro can you control the light around the fan ??? Almost like an Halo.
Now they sell this with reverse fans so you can keep the Infinity mirror facing you.
I know th-cam.com/video/ZdoCrYgZyE8/w-d-xo.html
@@TheProvokedPrawn Yeah, ended up seeing it. Making a new build and want everything to be Armory crate control. Still not understanding how you get the lighting on the fans in the order you want.
Can these fans be used individually without a fan controller? I bought 2 individual fans, plugged them in, and they don't work at all.
th-cam.com/video/W_ApiN_Wueg/w-d-xo.html
@@TheProvokedPrawn Thank you so much!!!
I just ordered these fans, I want to know if I can have them as exhaust on my cooler so it looks better and I'm adding 2 extra fans so I can make them intakes will this be ok?
is possible to just disable the middle rgb of fan? to be look like the uni fan? the old one was awesome... but sometimes have more rgb could be great too! :)
Why not Daisy-Chain that rear fan to the bottom 2?
I am thinking to get H9 elite case which will have 4 inbuilt nzxt fans which i dont want to drop... and it will have one controller in it with case,,, if i want to use these 1set of lian li fans ,will the mixture look good ,,, can we use nzxt controller with lian li fans or viceversa
So the single fan pack doesn't come with the proprietary flat cable that connects it to the controller? If you decide to use the controller and want to add more fans you have to keep buying the 3-packs?
The triple pack box includes four of those cables
@@TheProvokedPrawn I see. So that's a bit better, but honestly at this price point they should do better.
Where are the sync cables? Are they included in the box?
Does the Galahad with non-Uni fans work with the fan controller? If not, what's a solution to this?
Currently own the SL120 was just wondering how would you connect the infinity to an AIO that has 4 pin fan header so can use AIO software for fan curves , I currently have 3x SL120 on the radiator connected on the 4 pin Z73 AIO fan header and use NZXT Cam to set fan curves for them, I see the single pack SL Infinity has connector to use standered 4 pin what about for the LED it doesnt go into the Lian Li hub and has to go into motherboard ARGB, would prefer it to go into the Lian Li hub
hello dear friends, are those Lian Li Fans as bright as Corsair QL120?
Only side light can be turned without turning on fan light please reply
When mirror side of the fan facing you like on the top of the tower in this video that means the air goes OUT or IN ?? and those fans on the front and on the bottom having logo on them are IN ?
Yes. Unless you have reverse blade versions of these fans, then it's the other way.
The actual fan 120mm or are they small like previous smaller fan?
Will Lian Li Strimer works with this new control box?
If I wanna use L connect for the fans and strimers what software is okay to use for the motherboard lighting and other accesories? Ive read problems with asus sync being installed same time as well as others what are you using here for the ram and watercooler lights?
Can u make just the lines on the side rgb and the blades black?
Which fan is better in look Corsair ql vs Lian Li infinity
i'm a bit confused on the controller. I have 3 other aRGB items that are not fans. Is there anyway to run them through the controller and software as well? (gpu block, cpu block and distro plate)
Each fan comes with a set of decals for the side mirrors. I can't find any documentation about their purpose. Are they needed?
They’re screen protectors for the side mirrors since those and incredibly easy to scratch
These look amazing. Though I'm not sure if it is worth it to spend £300 to upgrade my already really pretty al120s especially considering these new ones actually perform worse by a little bit.
AL120 👎
hi can i use the same controller for Lian Li Uni SL Infinity Fan and LIAN LI UNI FAN TL LCD
This fan and EK-Vardar EVO 120ER D-RGB, which is better?
Soo how can I plug the AIO fans into the 3 pack hub with the new connector?
So the single fan comes with that split cable. Wouldn’t you be able to plug one end to rgb lian li controller and the other end to mb fan header? Si st least rgb still controlled with application
th-cam.com/video/0wPi_zNzKF4/w-d-xo.html
hi bro, liquid cooling does not come with that type of fan?
Could I use my old SL120s and these ones at the same time?
You'd need a different controller, so it would probably get messy.
If you order a triple pack, are you able you use a single fan as a rear exhaust? Or do they have to be Daisy chained?
th-cam.com/video/W_ApiN_Wueg/w-d-xo.html
Thanks man, If i have more than 1 control box. Do i need to connect both of them to both usb ports on the motherboard or how do you connect 2 control boxes
Yes. You can use something like this th-cam.com/video/d8vELbWWaCQ/w-d-xo.html
Can u hook these lights on a kraken z73 and have them work right with the aio even with these new connectors and not the 4 pin
Wait I thought that the controller can control up to 16 fans and you only have 10 so why would you need another controller for the rear fan to plug into instead of direct to the MB ARGB header?
AlsoI am still confused as to what the splitter cable is actually for, is it if you wa to plug in a set of 3 fans and a single fan for a total of 4 fans into one connector on the lconnet control box?
can we combine the sl120 infinity fan with sl120 controller?
Hi. Do you know how can I connect single fans to the controller box? The 7-pin cable it's not included.
th-cam.com/video/W_ApiN_Wueg/w-d-xo.html
I have a Galahad AIO 360 for the roof of my PC Build, planning on getting 3 infinity’s for the front. Will they both sync up RGB wise through that controller?
Yes
so can a single fan be connected directly to the motherboard headers? or does this require that proprietary hub? I'm trying to find an RGB fan that can connect right to the mobo headers and can be programmed via the bios
th-cam.com/video/W_ApiN_Wueg/w-d-xo.html
the only problem with the white fans is they have a black circle in the middle so that will be a deal breaker for me i need all white inly acception is silver
What if i want o put them on my radiator? Its gotta be 4 pin so i can put it in the Cpu_Fan. What can i do?? :)
Does Lian li have a aio that comes with infinity fans? I plan to build in the o11 dynamic case with all infinity fans and a 360mm aio.
Not that I know of. But you could buy them and replace the standard fans on any 360mm radiator.
I think Lian li makes it more simple to set up the cord power, Im using corsair now, it really messy my case, and make it look ugly.
i want to wait for the black ones B)
I have the o11 dynamic evo case and have 10 fans in total of the uni fan sl inf. I have 3 for intake on the bottom, 3 intake on the side, 1 exhaust on another side and 3 on top with my aio as exhaust. This is my first pc build and the top 3 exhaust and 3 intake at the bottom will not turn on so no rgb and no spinning. I have checked every cable and tried going on l connect 3 but it briefly said that the fans will only turn on after the cpu reaches 50 degrees so can anyone help me?
Do these turn yellow overtime?
Is anyone here using like a founders 3070 with lian li strimers? I’m building my new pc within the week and I have a 3070 card and I’m buying the strimer plus cable. Is there anyway to make it look nice. Atm I’m thinking of buying a 12 pin to dual a pin cable so I can connect the strimer plus to the 3070 FE. Thanks, also I’m definitely getting these fans, I was stuck picking a fan and when I saw these it was perfect
How well do these/the new controller work with SignalRGB? The SL120s and controller had limitations / performance issues which SignalRGB claimed was a problem on the Lian Li. Hoping this has been resolved with theses.
apparently still runs on low fps, i guess lian li's controllers really are that bad
@@haroldmolina21 thx for the update. I didtched L-connect and the controller weeks ago in favour of Corsair controllers and iCue (and a little hack-and-splice injinuity). Haven't looked back!
@@tworocksandapebble I just got the infinity fans, but L-connect 3 is a dumpster fire. How did you you set them up with Corsair’s controller? I’m trying to find something to control fan speeds and rgb.
do you also install these fans on the aio liquid cpu coolor as well?
th-cam.com/video/Mm85qMEYlDI/w-d-xo.html
its possible to avoid the lian li control box? and conect 3 fans with 1 cable?
Yes. I showed how in the wiring video. And the rear one in this video is done that way
Why l connect not showing device…. I try to manual update but not showing device too
Hi, I would like to ask something . I have the mother board asus tuf gaming x570-plus (wifi) atx am4 motherboard but it only has a +5v D and it is used for the cooler. what can I do ?
You'll just have to control them via USB and the Lian Li L Connect software
Will this work the same when putting the lian li fans on a different aio ?
th-cam.com/video/0wPi_zNzKF4/w-d-xo.html
@@TheProvokedPrawn You already did it all, blessings!
So if I buy 3 single pack fans I can’t connect them too the controller?
If you've got a triple pack you'll have the cables you need.
Would 10 fans work from 1 controller in a Lian Li 011D Evo, I'm looking at getting 3 packs of 3 for the bottom and side intake areas and top exhaust as well as 1 single fan as a rear exhaust also.
I think you could connect up to 4 chains of 3 fans on the old AL/SL fans, just wondered if it's the same story with the new connectors. Thanks
It's the same logic. Four groups upto a max of four each
@@TheProvokedPrawn Awesome, thanks for letting me know 👍
Yea same, im ordering 12 to go in my Corsair 7000X case. But I have the Kraken Z73 rgb AIO water cooler, debating if I should replace those fans with 3 of these. If not, I'll only need 9
I’m doing this same set up in white, got the evo, just waiting on the 10 infinity fans to arrive
@@spsp6345 I loved the Kraken Z73. I had it for about a month or so, but I finally switched to a custom water loop pc woth 2 radiators (1 is 480mm 40mm thick, other is 360mm & 30mm thick), a CPU waterblock, a GPU waterblock, I7-12700KF, 4 sticks of Corsair Vengeance pro 16b ram(64GB total), 2 2TB SSD Samsung 980 pro(4TB total), 12 Lian Li sl-uni infinity fans, and an evga 3080 ftw3 ultra gaming GPU in a corsair 7000X rgb case and the Asus Rog Strix Z690-A gaming wifi motherboard and a corsair 1000W psu. So far I'm loving it.
Any idea if a 140mm version is in the works?
Probably wont be till late 2023 because they still havent came out with the 140mm al’s unless they are just gonna be focusing on the sl infinity fans now
