To me TALA seems to be the "boss" for the persian team... :-) + very good these language "tests" videos, I as a slavic (Slovakia) like them very much, great work guys!
Take the language aside; they have the same good sense of humor, and that's the most important thing to have a good relationship across the cultures. They are also some cute, happy and smart girls, keep smiling, girls.
It's "funny" how we nowadays are taught that Persia was the anti-thesis of European culture, when in fact it is a continuation of it, or dare I "blaspheme" and say that perhaps it is even the other way around (or rather the truth is in the mix - not the middle). If you study ancient Greece and it's mythology, culture and language, you come to understand the very close connection there, between Greek and Persian! Driving the point home if you pay attention to the words chosen here, many if not most of them have the same root as the English language too (father, orange, soap, young, sugar, mother...)! PS. I know I'm stating the obvious but, I think Tala is Beautiful!
In a world where politicians and the corporate news media are spreading hatred and promoting endless wars for money, your channel is like a beacon of hope that entertains and also shows how diverse people from far away lands can find similarities in their languages and culture and enjoy each others company.
Funny how similar we are. I'm Persian, and one of my best friends is Mexican. Everytime we go to a Mexican restaurant, he orders in Spanish, and the waiter presumes I'd do the same and then looks at me in shame like I'm a sellout because I don't speak Spanish lmfao.

mate do you know one thing? Bahador or Bahadur in Nepali means a person who is very Brave. that's why Nepalese are known as Gurkhey or Bahadur commonly.. may be who knows the word itself has a same meaning in Persian also! considerable 😎😇😋
Indo-European is the biggest bullshit term there is. Iranian language is Iranian. The Indo-European part is just made up by a bunch of nationalistic retards. Iranian is one of the oldest languages in the world, it would be much more logical that other languages are partly Iranic than the other way around.
Your Mom's Creepy Uncle The Indo-European crap is the biggest bullshit there is. Europeans are known for trying to label everything “European”. Anyway, when did I mention that “all other languages are Iranic”? You clearly have issues with your eyesight. I said European languages are rather “partly” Iranic than that Persian is “indo-European”. Next time actually read someones comment, else you’re just making a fool out of yourself.
Faraz Azadi yes I’m a sheep now because the way that languages are classified is all one big conspiracy, and you’re the only one who can see the truth aren’t you? Much prefer to be a sheep than to be a lunatic...baah baah 🐑
Not only they have similar words and look the same , there is some similarity in their cuisine too...specially they cook and eat stomach parts of cow and sheep ...in mexico they call it menudo , in iran they call it sirabi...this similarity is worth attention , it shows in far ancient times, once they were living together and then separated...in spanish lands moms yell at their kids BASTA! meaning that's enough , in some persian dialects moms yell at their kids BASTA too meaning that's enough!
Great idea , great video...but I have just a little suggestion, it would be more interesting I think if you bring the Persian people from different great Persia regions like Afghanistan and Tajikistan at least...since we should not limit the Presian. But overall I really appreciate your efforts and your videos are really nice! ❤
Feels like each and everyone is related to each other ! We have 193 countries. ....millions of politicians. ...millions of so called media !!! Can we stay in only one country ? THE PRECIOUS EARTH !!!!

Most of these words are also used similarly or exactly in Hindustani (Hindi/Urdu) as their Persian forms: lip - labio - लब soap - jabón - साबुन brinjal/eggplant - berenjena - बैंगन table - mesa - मेज़ young - joven - जवान foot - pie - पैर sugar - azúcar - शक्कर olive - aceituna - ज़ैतून orange - naranja - नारंगी
mZanitheman0806 | it’s because Farsi derived from indo European. In Farsi, the word for who is “qi” or “ki” like in french “qui” and Spanish “quien”. It’s mostly because they all share a common ancestor language called “Proto Indo European”.
Many of these words are "Swadesh List" words. Things so basic to life that you would expect to be more or less preserved in both languages from the old Proto-Indo-European times.

To me TALA seems to be the "boss" for the persian team... :-) + very good these language "tests" videos, I as a slavic (Slovakia) like them very much, great work guys!
i love it soooo much *-* im in love with this right now... its awesome
Bahar noroozi
Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy our future videos as well :)
Take the language aside; they have the same good sense of humor, and that's the most important thing to have a good relationship across the cultures. They are also some cute, happy and smart girls, keep smiling, girls.
i speak both lenguages, i like the video!! :)
Salam¡¡¡
Sepas/Gracias
Thanks for watching :)
en serio hablas ambos idiomas? de donde sos? me sorprende que hayan personas que dominen esas dos lenguas...
your videos are amazing! i am looking forward for your new videos like this.
Omid Tizkar Thank you Omid! Really appreciate that and hope you enjoy the upcoming videos. There'll be a lot of variety :)
After 6 years married with a Persian guy I can understand Farsi by the way 🙊🤣😍😍
Funny how similar we are. I'm Persian, and one of my best friends is Mexican. Everytime we go to a Mexican restaurant, he orders in Spanish, and the waiter presumes I'd do the same and then looks at me in shame like I'm a sellout because I don't speak Spanish lmfao.
Persian always have chai omg😂😂😂😂🇮🇷💜
Princess Parisa MAN CHAI DOOSTDARAM
I love chai tea. So good
Better than alcohol or coffee hahaha
I liked how competitive this was 😂 Every video should be this competitive
Really really I just fall in love with Tala (Iran). Her smile and simplicity just like a blooming flowers.
عشق است عشق است ہا ہا ہاہا 🤣😂😀😄😃
Lots of love from India
I became a fan of #Tala 💕💕 lots of love and appreciation from Nepal for this great work and the video. keep it up guys you've got a new subscriber instant ! 😍😍
Shah Qar
Thank you. Really appreciate that, and Tala does as well :)
mate do you know one thing? Bahador or Bahadur in Nepali means a person who is very Brave. that's why Nepalese are known as Gurkhey or Bahadur commonly.. may be who knows the word itself has a same meaning in Persian also! considerable 😎😇😋
As latin and persian are both members of greater indo-european language family, many of the words may be understandable
Indo-European is the biggest bullshit term there is. Iranian language is Iranian. The Indo-European part is just made up by a bunch of nationalistic retards. Iranian is one of the oldest languages in the world, it would be much more logical that other languages are partly Iranic than the other way around.
Faraz Azadi And we should just take your word rather than the word of thousands of linguists who study languages in academia?
mimi That is the worst argument you could have given... You literally sound like sheep now.
I'm Filipino and I got almost all the words, especially the ones from the Spanish side LOL
Make more longer videos ... I looovvvveeeddd it ... it was so much fun ... u should do challenges more often 😉
Thank you :)
Sure thing! We'll make longer videos and add more challenges to the mix for the upcoming videos. Thanks for your feedback!
Tala is a sweet girl
Tala means gold in persian. I think it also means gold in Hindi.
Very cute. 90% giggles 10% talking :)
Mexican girl is so cute
Great idea , great video...but I have just a little suggestion, it would be more interesting I think if you bring the Persian people from different great Persia regions like Afghanistan and Tajikistan at least...since we should not limit the Presian.
But overall I really appreciate your efforts and your videos are really nice! ❤
Great ! Indo European root words came out this time instead of loan words
Es interesante ver las similitudes en las palabras entre idiomas que parecen tan diferentes.
Parecen pero son parte de la misma familia lingüística 😁
Shahrzad is very intelligent!!!
Mema Cordobes Thank you!!
XD
Shahrzad Pe hi
And so pretty 💚
Ebi Hamedi lol
That was really fun to watch 🤩 their joy is contagious
Shahrzad always makes me laugh because she’s so competitive lol 😂
Wonderful job bro! Keep it going!
Sepas Nima jaan!
The two Persian girls are sisters, they have identical smile!
Yes. Shahrzad and Mahtab are sisters.
I guessed it as i click on it
As someone who knows both Persian (first language) and Spanish (third language), this was an instant click for me!
Ecuadorian girl is a living doll 👌🏽👌🏽
Is so beautiful watch them talking in their own languages
Feels like each and everyone is related to each other ! We have 193 countries. ....millions of politicians. ...millions of so called media !!! Can we stay in only one country ? THE PRECIOUS EARTH !!!!
Unfortunately, humanity allows politics, religion, ethnicity, and nationality divide us all the time. It's up to us, the ordinary citizens to counter that division, and that's what we try to achieve. Thank you for watching!
WE ❤ 💜 PERSIA
&
PERSIAN LANGUAGE
Well done Bahador, I think using stopwatch e.g. 30 second for each word to guess will be good
You are all very wonderful people and you brought a great smile to my face!
Thank you!
Nice work
Thank you!
Most of these words are also used similarly or exactly in Hindustani (Hindi/Urdu) as their Persian forms:
lip - labio - लब
soap - jabón - साबुन
brinjal/eggplant - berenjena - बैंगन
table - mesa - मेज़
young - joven - जवान
foot - pie - पैर
sugar - azúcar - शक्कर
olive - aceituna - ज़ैतून
orange - naranja - नारंगी
The Hispanic girls are so beautiful 🙂
Grew up around both languages, it's crazy to see the similarities! Well done
Did Persian influence every language??? Seems like it
No, Spanish influences almost every language just how Spanish sounds similar to Italian, Portuguese, some french and mostly other languages
mZanitheman0806 | it’s because Farsi derived from indo European. In Farsi, the word for who is “qi” or “ki” like in french “qui” and Spanish “quien”. It’s mostly because they all share a common ancestor language called “Proto Indo European”.
Persian is much older than Spanish
Persian has influenced all European languages
The Persian language was written at least 2500 years ago
Many of these words are "Swadesh List" words. Things so basic to life that you would expect to be more or less preserved in both languages from the old Proto-Indo-European times.
Haha the best video ever, was so fun with the misunderstanding parts.
when they all start getting heated bahadors face is like “man I need to stop doing these...” 😂😂😂
😂😂

I'm a Bengali (Indo-Aryan language from India/Bangladesh) speaker and am super stoked to learn that "pedo" is "fart" in Spanish as well. I don't know how William Jones missed this Indo-European link word!
That's awesome 😂
Tala could be a voice actor if she wants it, that voice man
Omg i laughed so hard when the persian team heard a word similiar to berenj wich means rice they automaticly lit up hahah rice and persian 😂😂
sipi sipii
haha yeah, that was hilarious! Thank you for watching :)
well, no great surprise since both are indogermanic languages, besides some persian words (and the concepts associated with them) came already with the greeks and romans to iberia and many many more with the moors and arabs... it was funny to look at but it would be really interesting if the moderator could talk a bit more about the coincidences! (the same would apply to the languages of northern India, and of course arabic, even if it is not an indogermanic language)
puma Thank you for watching. I aim to not make the videos too long because i don't want the audience to get bored but perhaps for the next video I'll aim to provide more details. Thanks again. Hope you'll enjoy our other works as well:)
Another great episode!
25% of the time spent on figuring out the words. 75% of the time spent on arguing who should have the most points.
I could say something about "women being the same all over the world" right here...
But I'm not an idiot, so I'm not gonna. ;)
griiseknoen 🤣🤣🤣😜
Wow. Hahaba you're right. This video is proof right here
😂😂😂😂😂
Nice video, Bahador is clearly favoring the Persian team though :)
not really, he was giving more hints to the Latinas.
That's not a serious competition tho. It's a game for fun and to see how languages have similarities
