I AM SO HAPPY YOU SAID HAIR IS GENETICS AND THAT YOU HAVE NATURALLY BEAUTIFUL HAIR. I have the same hair except my hair is curly/ wavy. It’s so shiny no matter what and only gets frizzy when I brush it too much. I will make once adjustment to what you said though. You don’t need “cool” or “cold” water at all when showering or taking care of your hair. Like at all. All you need is warm water and all you need to wash is your scalp. Conditioner is not for your scalp unless your hair is incredibly dry, or you’re getting a salon treatment💕.

My hair generally straight and fine but the bottom half of my hair is dry-frizzy. Do you think my hair will still benefit from a clarifying treatment? It's mid-thigh length and I've been growing it for 7 years. Is the clarifying treatment easy to do at home? Is there another brand other than Redken that you would recommend?
Too many articles I read give advice the contradicts itself, it's hard to find good tips!

I don’t blow dry much or use heating tools (maybe for a special occasion) but am blonde so I won’t get the reflective shine you have. Beautiful hair my love!! but yes diet & water makes a huge difference to hair skin nails & mentality!! Without a doubt!

Sofie Leiton you mean on days that I don't wash it, I most definitely shower every day 😅😜. Honestly, I keep my hair in a ponytail or a bun every day at home (I don't get out much lol). And when I go out after a few days of it not being washed I very quickly run the blow dryer over it to take out any bends from my hair ties. I will add a small amount of dry shampoo in places that seem oily around my scalp, and lastly will brush that through and style it either with my flat iron or a curling iron.

I definitely agree with what you said about genetics. Glad you said it most hair tutorials don’t (at least that I have seen). If I put heat in my hair it makes it thinner and causes breakage. With your hair it probably doesn’t because it looks really thick. (My hair is thin). My hair went from being collar bone length to almost my butt and healthy when I removed heat. Regardless whatever you are doing works for you because your hair is beautiful!! Fanks for sharing 🥰

Alexia Definitely true that all hair types react differently to styling methods and products! The strands of my hair are very fine but I have a lot of it so some people would call that thick hair. Either way I don't get any damage from the way that I use heat on my hair. I have had the same routine for more years than I can count and I've never dealt with much damage. The only time my hair really got damaged was one time I did highlights and it caused so much breakage I never put color in my hair again.

That’s all I also use some product like leave in conditioner or some detangling product and Henry brush. PEOPLE SAY NOT TO BRUSH WHEN YOU HAVE WET HAIR but they say this bc if you do you’ll cause breakage so for me if I brush my hair when it’s dry it’s gonna frizz up so just be gentle with your hair when brushing if wet

I always read how silk in shampoos and conditioners is bad for your hair. The CHI silk infusion also contains silk I guess? So.. is it really that good for your hair?

I hate that I used to wash my hair once a week also, but now I have a much more active lifestyle and sweat so often that i have to wash it at least 2 to 3 times a week and my hair is now soooo damaged. It really makes a difference to let natural oils do their job.

do you apply the pro silk after every wash whether or not you blow dry? i let my hair air dry.

    • @christinablum408
      @christinablum408  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Karla Michelle I always blow dry so for me I can't really answer that. If I didn't I think I would apply it to my dry hair rather than my wet hair. But the product is delicate enough to do either way, I recommend just starting out with a very small amount and adding more if needed. I hope that helped! 💕💕

I have very frizzy hair, it is straight but it is very puffy and especially the ends, I dont blow dry my hair or towel rub it and I even sometimes use argan oil and coconut oil but it still goes frizzy after around 15 minutes. Please tell me how to treat this! xo

I love using the tea tree shampoo that's the shampoo I use however the conditioner for me didn't make my ends soft in facts just made it dryer so i changed conditioners but the shampoo works wonders for me.

I use a Chi blowdryer that supposedly uses ion technology to help lessen damage and makes your dry hair faster than usual blowdryers

    My (curly) hair routine :
Brush through with fingers + comb smooth
    Put in shampoo/conditioner(once a week)
    Wait 5 minutes
Comb through again to remove shampoo/conditioner
^all of the above is done in the shower
    Plat hair
Its really simple and works well !

Dry shampoo is designed to be used on fresh clean hair to absorb oil as it's produced - it's to slow down to hair getting oily process and prolong it's cleanliness etc - it's not meant to mop up oil after the fact.

Miranda Chalyset Not gonna lie I started doing it because I was lazy also. And I used to have much more oily hair, but when I started washing it less it started producing oil less quickly
