How did you know it was the seat belt tensioner that cause your air bag light
I watched this video to see how I might replace the seat belt tensioner in a 2007 mini Cooper S. This wasn't helpful since the video shows the seat belt buckle replacement. I need to see the seat belt tensioner that the belt retracts into.
Every other time the belt won't pull out far enough and locks up. I have a new tensioner to replace this mechanism.
I just wiggled the wire connector and got the code to go off.
I thought you would need OBD2 scanning software to clear the code after you replaced it
Hi i have a r55 2013 but my seat doesn't have that on my seat. And have code 9417 and code 9419. Any help appreciated
Sorry I can’t help u with those codes. I would try a local garage with a computer that covers a mini.

Hi! I knew because of the seat I took it off. Tensioner Left side of seat is driver. Right is passenger.
What airbag codes where you getting
Sorry the repair shop reset the code so I don’t have it.
Is it possible to do a computer reset without replacing the part?
