so about the now missing dedicated foglights: Theres a button next to the headlight switch that is meant to be used in bad weather, such as snow/rain/fog/etc., all it does is it gives the lowbeams the full beans as well as turning on both of the cornering lights. a couple of things that I think should have been mentioned: both side-mirrors are automatically heated if needed. you have no control over it, however I have found it reliable. the driver side-mirror dims WITH the rear view mirror. a feature that I feal that every car manufacturer should adopt.

I recently bought a 2023 MINI Cooper S Convertible in Ionic trim, which suppose to have the Driver Assistance option; that is, an adaptive cruise control, except that it doesn’t. Neither does my car have the panic button in the MINI key fob. It probably suppose to have the head up display but it doesn’t; which I really don’t care to have in the first place. Although no one in the dealership ever mention these omissions in the new MINI Coopers. I suspect, that because of the microchip shortage, the manufacturer decided to exclude some electronic features in the MINIs in order to save them for the more expensive BMW vehicles - that’s my theory. I think that the MINIAC should explain why there are these omissions in the new MINIs because after all, he’s the MINI expert.
