Check out my new track playthrough on the Schecter 7-string Multiscale • Playing through a new ... -~- www.at-the-creamery.co.uk/cust... Fender Floyd Rose Blacktop Strat into an Axe Fx II
Thanks for the suggestion bro. I've been enjoying the rock tones so much that I haven't spent much time on the SRV vibe yet. But since you brought it up I have started tweaking some new patches and should have something to show you very soon.
Sounds amazing James, can I ask a small question I have a 2007 US Delux strat in its standard pickup config (3 single coils with s1 switching) I want to mid it and put in 2 humbuckers, I really like your tones and was wondering what you would put in there? Keep you the great playing!
I love what you have been doing with your Axe FX. I want to get one in the future for sure. I know in the past you have done some great SRV videos. Have you dialed in a nice SRV tone on your Axe FX yet? If so could you do a video? Thanks. One of your fans from over the pond.
Hi Allan. Interesting question...I've never put a HB in the neck position of a Strat so I can't really comment on this one. Do you want high output pickups or classic tones? Do you have a guitarist in mind that you would like to sound like? To be honest I would drop an email to Jaime at The Creamery and discuss the many options available. Fenders are very versatile so you can try just about anything but you have to have an idea of what sounds you are after. Cheers
I am thinking about adding a Floyd rose locking nut system to my sons Fender Strat squier. In your opinion do you think its worth it or just get another guitar?
To be honest, I would just invest in a new guitar. If a Floyd Rose install isn't done perfectly then you could have all sorts of tuning/intonation issues.
Thanks man, the heavy sound is the Citrus RV50

Thanks James, really appreciate the video demo and glad you like the pickup.
sweet tone!
Thank's bro for all the great stuff you post.Much appreciated
Sounds killer!
That's a fantastic tone!! Killer playing too of course :D
really nice playing!
Of course! It has nice big fat bluesy tones
Yeah I've wired it exactly the same as the original pickup so split coil tones in pos 2 and 4.
Very sweet.. makes me wish I'd kept my strat...
great! the tone is very 80s metal
Straight into an Axe Fx 2

Ok, cool

Nice bro. Which amp/cab did you use on the Axe? Friedman?
I bought this guitar and it just arrived! Does it comes already calibrated?
Nailed that tone... what's the rest of the gear ?

do you still have the coil tap whit the new humbucker?
can you play blues with this guitar?
what caliber string your use?
These are two completely different guitars. If I could only have one it would be the more traditional CV Tele.
If you want a "TRUE CUSTOM PICKUPS".... Get Creamery Handwound Pickups......
To be honest, I would just invest in a new guitar. If a Floyd Rose install isn't done perfectly then you could have all sorts of tuning/intonation issues.
And to think that a set of these is only £140...
