My Father, Kelley Condon designed the aluminum body for these. I remember when I was about 11yrs old playing this drum cage that Travis had designed kinda like a drum rack but stationary before drum racks were a thing. The guy was a visionary I could see it. I still have the Original 1st full Aluminum backing ever made. I’m proud of that.

I love the looks of the block inlay Travis Bean. would rather have one of those than a Les Paul any day

Good video. I had a TB 1000, it weighed a ton. It was really a great guitar but I never bonded well with it. It had a great neck, and always felt good in the hand. I sold it to get a 75 Tele custom.

Never thought I’d hear a gear demo open with a Jesus lizard song in my life.

I just got a 2021 TB1000S last week Pan Back model in black. This is the best sounding guitar ive ever owned. I have a few videos of this guitar and my Wolf guitars I also use live on here. These guitars have the best clean tone ever. Plug one of these into a Twin Reverb and jam away. If you been searching for that 75-77 Jerry tone, this is it :-)

Clean demos for both Kramer 450B and Travis Bean TB1000 would be any Records from SBB between '79 till '80 - both for Józef Skrzek on bass and Apostolis Anthimos on guitar (or bass during 11.80) as aluminium necks were their only guitars at the time - and a lot of clean tones on live recording.
