Hey everybody! Thought I'd press record... Just some improve jamming on the Charvel after swapping out the bridge pickup with a Seymour Duncan '78. One of my all time favorite pickups.

Hey let me ask how you like or compare the 78 to the pg? I've used the pg in my main guitar for years now and like it a lot but lately notice a weird sound almost like a floyd flutter on some of the high notes around high A. None of my other guitars have that and its starting to bug me. I didn't remember if that was supposed to be a feature of the pg or not. Thank you

Love this guitar. I really like the stock EVH bridge, but that sounds good. Don't suppose you did any comparisons playing the same riff before and after changing pickups that we could hear?
Also what are your thoughts on the Screamin' Demon?

I only have some jams on the other EVH pickup. It sounded great. I just like this 78 better.

Awesome jam. Is that the D-Tuna on the bridge? I was debating getting one of those for my bridge but I don't know if I would ever use it. Great tone as always.

What is the stock bridge pickup, if I may ask? Sounds great, the 78! One I've never owned, but am a Duncan fanatic... Like them much more than DiMarzio

Thanks! The pickup that came in it was a EVH Wolfgang. I liked it... was hotter than the '78. The 78 is just one of my all time favorites.

@@tonlarj37 ah yes...agreed! The EVH is way hot... I have one in (2 actually) in a USA EVH SIG... I prefer a JB & '59 to be honest, but have to try that 78. Sounds awesome
