Hi james! A couple years ago i was looking for a low output bridge humbucker, then i found your video showing the peraly gates, i really like it than o bought it. This week i was looking for a strat with floyd rose, than a saw one of your videos, because is was a black top. I wanna change the pickup configuration of the blacktop that i got. Than i saw that i did the same! haahaha thanks for your demos, i didnt realize until now that is healping me a lot!
There are so many great period sounds as you move on through the pickups. I love the the crossroads grit and transparent delicate tones. Great demo. A+ James. Steve in Boise, Idaho.
You have turned even a simple pickup demo into a wonderful musical experience my friend! I'm thinking I should check these pups out! Thanks for sharing.
It's a modified Fender Floyd Rose Blacktop Strat. They have only been around for a few years. They only come as a dual humbucker model but it's easy enough to drop in a HSS pickguard.
You have an amazing playing style man, could sit and listen for hours, very inspirational :) Guitar sounds very nice too, A HSS strat with locking trem just seems to be the most perfect guitar in my opinion :)
You have great taste in both tone and guitar licks. I'm becoming a fan of Creamery pickups. They should make you their demo man. ...Then again you could probably strum shoelaces and make them sing.
Thanks very much mate. Actually Jaime (the guy that designs and builds the pickups) kind of did make me the demo guy! I still have a bunch of Tele pickups that I need to demo. Thanks for checking these out.
james ryan I picked up on that right after I posted this. I went through all the Creamery videos I could find. ...Jaime is a genius. ...I've been buying pick-ups for my guitars, and I've listened to some of the best. ...This guy has brilliant taste in sound. He's a true artist. ...Many pick-up makers try to make clones of the best pick-ups. This guys pick-ups are making sonic history. ...The Wide Range Humbucker - I hated the original Fender sound. Wimpy, not particularly sweet. His pick-ups make me want to go out and buy guitars I would never buy. ...I have great sounding strats. I want to have another just to throw in those strat 90s - that is one of the most awesome sounding guitars I've ever heard. ...Just sonically different than David Gilmore and Stevie Ray Vaughn and Clapton, the sounds I would normally go for.
Memorising tones and playing mate... i have my eye on a 1994 MIJ HSS FR Fender Strat for sale here locally, but the only thing that's putting me off from buying it is that it has a Dimarzio humbucker... don't think it's gonna sound like a Fender with that humbucker, so i spent hours looking for a humbucker that still had a Fender Strat sound... checked out the Shawbucker demos but i thought they sounded crap, but i don't need to search any further now that i've heard the Creamery pups... thanx for the demo.... edit... can you please tell me what "59 humbucker it is ? Alnico 2, 3, 4 or 5 ? Thanx...
Well I am torn between the black top or the Mexican standard Floyd rose. The standard has the nut thru the neck while the black top has the top mount. Would you have any input on either or both.
Hey James! Im modifying my first squier strat. In your opinion, would you recommend this pickups for the guitar? And by the way, what pickups are you using so i can order them if i decide to! Its an HSS aswell. Im in love with your tone, really! Cheers!

What amp and pedals are you using? I bought this set of pickups for my HSS strat
what year and model strat is that?

curious to know which pickups compiled that HSS set? all ggod rewatched and saw then splash up on screen
What value pots are you running brother?
Which pickup set or pickups are those?
250k or 500k? Or are you using a volume pot value in between?
I hear 500K gives the full tone of the humbucker but I'm not a guitar expert
