Fabrics used in this video - Pie in the Sky Collection from Tilda Fabrics, purchased from The Grey Finch Company
I bought that same Tilda fabric in a FQ bundle and have been debating what pattern to use it on. This is a beautiful option!
I saw these fabrics while browsing through Etsy and fell in love with them. I'm going to have to look for one of these jelly rolls! Your block with them really is beautiful.

So glad to hear that! And that you're here!! Thanks for watching!
Nicely done. Well explained without becoming too repetitious and boring.
Thank you so much! Appreciate you being here and watching!
Love that fabric! I made a quilt from it and still want more of that fabric!
The finished block has a very heraldic look - reminds me of a medieval shield. Gorgeous fabric choice.
Thank you so much - hi from South Aussie- Tilda fabrics are my favourite-I have a lot of FQ and I’m sure I could use up some by cutting into strips to make my first Log Cabin
You won't regret it!!! And hey from Texas!
Thanks for this informative video tutorial! I really loved the colors of your scrappy block!!
You are so welcome! This fabric collection is amazing!
Great helpful tips on sewing with jellyrolls. Just discovered them, and now I'm hooked.
That's awesome! Thanks for watching!
I really like your "slow enough" style. I can picture what I'll be making. Your video is also the first I've seen the block without using lights on one side and darks on the other. This gives more space for creativity. Thank you.
It was so much fun! Glad you like it!
Thank you! You are a great teacher and have a very calming manner and voice. I'm going to make a log cabin quilt! Yay!
Thank you!! Good luck!! I need to finish mine!
I started a log cabin quilt before COVID and had it hidden away.
When I started it, I didn't really know what I was doing. All of my finished and partially finished blocked went counterclockwise. Oh, well. I guess if they are all the same, it won't matter.
I'm left-handed and often get my direction mixed up. I'm using a solid aqua color on one side, and the side with prints is scrappy.
I think whenever I do this block again, I'll be better prepared.
Thank you for sharing.
I like that your block is not traditional light and dark…very cool
It was a fun mix using the jelly roll!
