🔧 Tools and Materials Needed:
Rough Country High Steer Kit
Jack and jack stands
Wrenches and sockets
Torque wrench
Grease and lubricants
Safety gear
📋 Installation Steps:
Preparation:
Ensure the Jeep Gladiator is parked on a flat, level surface.
Secure the vehicle with jack stands and remove the front wheels.
Removing Stock Components:
Disconnect the steering stabilizer and tie rod.
Remove the drag link and sway bar links.
Carefully detach the factory steering knuckle.
Installing the High Steer Kit:
Attach the new steering knuckle provided in the Rough Country kit.
Install the high steer drag link and tie rod.
Connect the steering stabilizer to the new setup.
Alignment and Adjustment:
Double-check all connections and ensure everything is torqued to the manufacturer's specifications.
Adjust the drag link and tie rod to ensure proper alignment.
Final Checks:
Reinstall the front wheels and lower the vehicle.
Test the steering system to ensure smooth operation and make any necessary adjustments.
