- In today's video we take a look at the 2019 BMW X5! What a phenomenal and incredible car from BMW! The technology that this car has to offer is amazing! The 360 camera and 4 zone climate controls up front and for the rear passengers makes this an excellent daily driver. The back seat room is super spacious and you could be driven around comfortably all day long. The exterior is not over done, but has an aggressive presence. It looks classy as it should, and has great road presence.
The materials used are as classy as it gets! Beautiful wood grain and aluminum trim looks very elegant and has a nice feel. The leather is very soft and crafted with a ton of attention to detail, and everything is put together as it should be.
The M sport package is a nice option as well with the wheels and m style steering wheel!

I have the X5 in the same colour, ivory interior, comfort seats, tech package, towbar, head-up display, but the 3.0 diesel (you seen what our GAS costs?!). Only had it three weeks....love it.

Truly a classy luxury SUV w/ incredible versatility. Excellent review and walk around of this awesome looking X5 Mike 🙂. I love that there are physical buttons in the X5, and the console is clean and uncluttered. I'm also really into Volvo's XC90, but it lacks physical buttons. I feel the unit in the XC90 would be cumbersome to use after while.

Great review, you did however skip over the digital gauge cluster design and personalization. My grandma just took delivery of one of these great improvement over the last one.

Nice review !! The only mistake was the 0-60mph speed...4.3 secs is the 50i not the 40i.
Junito Punto Comm 50i is 4.6.
Good review. I just ordered one 0-60 is 5.3 sec. the number you quoted was for the 5.0 engine
I got this car in 2021. When he said 0-60 in 4s, I was like hmmm I need to look into that.

i dont like the new glove compartment handle!! on my 2008 x5, the button was hidden underneath the AC vent!!!
You got the specs all confused with the X5 Xdrive 50i. You are reviewing the inline-6 40i engine so 0-60 time is around 5.3 seconds, not 4.3 seconds which is mated with the V-8 50i.
Tony Cheung you are correct. Also, the v8 is 4.6 not 4.3, so he was incorrect even if he was talking about the V8.
Is the fuel consumption similar to the 50? 🤔

X5 50i M-Sport with the V8TT gets a real world 4 seconds 0-60 mph.(its a monster). The X5 40i is 5 seconds 0-60 mph.
TheMystro1971 and i6 is around 5.5 seconds, plus they all sound good!
That's a very expensive 1 sec for 0-60

I think you can, most come with them so it’s hard to find used.

Why the HELL would anyone with such a premium vehicle ever go into a traditional carwash?! Touchless only folks. ONLY. Unless you love swirls galore on your paint and trim...
Nizar D. Completely agree. I took my 17’ X5 through a touch car wash (by accident because I selected the wrong button at the start) and ended up with massive swirl marks all over the roof and hood. Cost me 1500 CAD just to buff out all the scratches and I had to pay for it.
My 13 X5 goes to wand wash only. No touchless let alone scrubbing wash!!!
Thats why you pay for a clear coating protectant that resists any type of scratches and rough scrapes... I paid for mine on my Porsche macan, been on regular car washes for about 3 years now still looks glossy. When not I just take it for a polish. Some touch less car washes don’t really work.

4.3 sec 0-60 is the 50i version man this ones more like 5.6
hcmcjb learn your things about cars before you comment stupid and useless things. BMW literally announced that the 50i does 0-60 in 4.2 and the 40i in 4.9. Next time just don’t comment because I lost about 10 brain cells reading it.

Sami uddin 4.9. Look at car and drivers official time, they got 4.9 secs 0-60 and 13.6 secs for the quarter mile.

Sami uddin it really is. Over one generation, they improved the 0-60 time by 0.9 secs, since mine is 5.8 secs and the new one is 4.9. BMW is taking a new route, and I’m impressed with it.

You should be able to get the interior lighting package in an X5! It’s an option.

Do not get a Lexus. Everything will go wrong on it at 65k. They are not the quality they used to be.
