I burst out crying during bear grip/root lock. I'm going through something harder than I ever thought I'd have to experience, but these practices are helping me through it. I still can't see a light at the end of the tunnel, but these practices are at least helping me feel like I'm not walking through this alone. Thank you so much for all that you do. Sat Nam 💙💙💙💙💙💙

I haven't been able to even do this every day for the 40 days because I've had to take it in increments. Fair warning to those thinking they would like to start this 40 day journey, if you have something really challenging to accept, this video will be very difficult for you. Take care of yourself and make sure you have the infrastructure in your life to support this journey you're about to embark on. Thank you, Salimah, for your gentle guidance and presence through this difficult part of the climb. Sat Nam. 💙💙💙

Yes you bring up a good point. Being able to integrate what comes up for you in any practice takes self awareness and conscious decision making.
If you don’t already have a support system in place - dropping comments as you practice can help you build that support.
I know a KY teacher who spent 10 years working toward a 40 day practice. Everyone learns and develops at a different pace.
      All good. All are welcome.

I love your practices! So many teachers yammer on about themselves but not you. You get right down to it! Perfect for those of us squeezing in a practice. Powerful. Many thanks!

Thank you! It is very important the acceptance, and it is difficult to realize this; with kundalini yoga we can make this. Why is so important to concentrate with our mind, on the third eye?

Thank you Salimah. I taught this class this morning really beautiful. Could you let me know the name of the mudra used in the meditation please. Sat Nam!!!!

Sat Nam - are you a teacher of Kundalini Yoga??? Yay!
      It’s prayer pose 🙏🏽

@@YogaVisionOnline Thanks for your reply. Yes I am a Kundalini teacher. 😊
I was actually asking about the mudra in the final meditation with fingers curled in, middle knuckles touching and thumb tips touching. It is a really cool mudra but I can't find it anywhere. My students are very inquisitive and always want to know names of things, meanings etc. Did you make it up yourself, and if so would you mind telling how you came to it. ( I hope you don't find my request forward, we just loved it ) Sat Nam. 🙏🙏

    • @YogaVisionOnline

Ahh. The mudra was not named in the original text. For students who ask, I break down what each of the fingers represent. Hope that helps.
