I agree, I usually click on his videos either at lunch break during work or after the work day has ended when I'm cooking dinner. Really enjoy the content even if I haven't played SC2 in ages, his commentary reminds me of the whole routine you get into when you used to play 1v1 ladder. Of course, I was terrible, so I didn't climb very far. But I remember the names of units, buildings, and terms like "proxy" so it's just mostly fun to watch/listen to.

The Reason why Tropical Sacrifice confuses you is because it doesn't have mirror symmetry but rotational symmetry.
Like how an "S" has symmetry. The middle part Lowko is just a "S"

All added maps are high quality and enjoyable to play on or watch,i think we can look foward to some of the best times of SC2 in next year and i believe some of those maps will become classics

Hey Lowko, can you mix up the naming of your videos? I believe you name your videos after whomever wins the set of matches you cast. If that isn't the case, then it is almost all the time.
I personally would prefer to not know who wins the set.
Tropical Sacrifice looks amazing, going to look forward to playing on it soon enough.

About the symmetry, what is disturbing is that it is looks like a rotational symmetry and not a vertical symmetry.
Put a dot in the middle of the map (the middle of the middle bridge) and rotate all the map around for 180 degree and you will see the 2 others bridges coming one on top of the other
Tal'Dareem skins would look sick playing on tropical sacrifice!

What we want is a Citymap with a Trainstation & a Lowkomotive!
fun fact: (in case you arent good at math) the area between the income disparity graph line and the horizontal line gives you the total resource advantage for that player. for example you know that the bottom player has come back in total resources collected, when they managed to make the area below the middle as big as the area above the middle.

Gumiho just kinda didn't use Yamato on his Battlecruisers. He could have picked off a decent number of stalkers over the course of the early game.
perhaps he was Saaving eqnergy to move across the map? Yamato takes a lot of time to fire

That was some diamond league multiple unupgraded barely microed BC usage on game one, jeez
multiple opportunities to Yamato some units too and none were ever used in the entire game!
The fight at 15:35 from Nina is fucking insane, she went from 50 army supply behind to 20 army supply ahead. She wiped 70+ army supply without using really any. That’s nutty efficient

Lowko, many times you said that decorations make the map less 'legible'. What does 'legible' mean in this context? Also, thanks for the reminder to thumbs up! I always forget and feel bad.
I don’t understand your casting sometimes, when a reaper goes in and kills 2 drones sometimes you were like oh, that’s way more damage than that should’ve been done, but this time now 9 probes go down and you’re like oh, it’s not that bad….

Hey Lowko, did you know that in the SC 1 map editor there is a Tassadar/Zeratul Archon? It was a hero unit.
23:32 actually gumiho make 2 fusion core at the very beginning of the game, but suprice that lowko didn't see that.
5 mins didn't have it,
9:29 u can see the fusion core in main base
i don't think the "income advantage" are that direct linkage to the unit count and who is stronger,
the worker count seems better,
and i dun know why they trade the base like that, not sure is it worth it.
Those new graphs certainly are shiny and cool, but they block most of the screen. Perhaps make them 1/4 the size and stick them in a corner so we can still watch the game?

Like the middle star is a nose the two to the right and left are the eyes, the upper bases on the far sides abopve the ears and finally the bottom centre base is the mouth! =)
nina had more army but terran had more SVC. Interesting.
Why do pro gamers not use their command centers to drop miners across the map to heal things like the BC's when they get injured? I never understood that, it seems to make so much more sense than flying home

In the third game gumiho brought he banshee home while the obs was on his side of the map! He could have killed the entire mineral line 🙃🙃

It looks like Stargazers will be a lot better than what I first imagined. It's a really interesting map.
Nina playstyle looks like SoO one but with protoss, like "a little bit of everything of all the time"
I am pretty sure the bridges on the tropical sacrifice map are point symmetrical from the center of the middle bridge
Tropical Sacrifice gave me a big Halo vibe similar to the forerunner levels on the beach.
