I had the exact same problem when bleeding my clutch, this video helped so much thanks 🙏
glad to hear this helped and that it wasn't just me having this issue
very helpful was having issues after replacing both master and slave. However, will definitely try this method you referenced, thanks again.
Thanks for the info. Was having the issue of not bleeding. Then heard your comment about a slanted driveway.
Thank s again

You're welcome!
Thank you for information, I will try this on a 1996 Camry 5speed..
Good luck!
Had the same exact problem with my bakkie, this video was so very helpful thank you very much for that💪🏽🇿🇦
Glad it helped
Thanks man I'm gonna try it
Looking @2:05, I see a bracket at the end of the clutch master cylinder rod with a pin and cotter pin assembly attached to the clutch pedal which seems to be conspicuously absent on my truck, with no evidence that it was ever there. I have a 2008 second gen Tacoma
Where did you buy the stainless steel line for the Master Cylinder?? Please let me know…I. About to work on my 1992 Truck
Search on ebay
Mine is under stupid brake booster having a great time trying to reconnect clutch line
Great video, you don’t see much Toyota model like this anymore.

Awesome ! Same here.
Just sub, keep those videos coming !
Hey buddy thanks for the video.
I have the same pickup and the truck won’t go into gear when running, but it will when the vehicle is off.
I’ve changed my clutch, slave cylinder, and master cylinder. And it still won’t go into gear?
Any suggestions?
-wrong Master cylinder rod length(clutch play)?
-broken pedal bracket?
-bad transmission?
Is the slave cylinder bleed properly?
& yes I would inspect the mc rod length
@@NuttyNu it was the rod length. Short 3/8 inch . Also the clutch pedal bracket is cracked
@@moejr14the clutch pedal bracket will do it, common problem take it off and have it welded there are write ups out there to get it done
My friend who is a transmission specialist/I believe clutches fall into that category. I have a 97 Tacoma 4×4 . He told me to raise the front end. I put it on ramps. I had to work one side then the other. Because it doesn't go into gear and my clutch pedal is to the floor. Because if I have to I'll take it down and raise the backend up. But if I have to remove it I'm going to need more tools. Also where you saying I need to bleed the brakes master cylinder also??
Thanks bro!!
You bet!
@@NuttyNu doing a manual swap on my 4runner next week. So I watched this to learn how the system works . Thanks buddy from 🇨🇦
I wish you could still buy new trucks with a clutch. Every thing that I'm told, is everything is automatic. Now im hearing mustang is even going majority automatic. That is on clean engine bay for a truck that goes off road. Good video though.
Great point!
My 2016 tacoma has a 6 speed
I do t see how that can create a vacuum..?
And all that air in da clear hose that has to be an issue..
