Nobody seems to use Romeos scythe, which is a shame, because it's completely broken. The charge attack has insane area of reach and you can completely cheese almost all elites and even some bosses by simply standing behind something, like a box or a tree, and charge attack them completely safe. Even without cheesing, it's still a superb weapon.

I put the Krat Police Handle on the Bone Cutting Saw and though there definitely are faster weapons on the game, it isn't slow at all for me and does great damage and I'm on my second playthrough and it's still working nicely.
Try Rapier blade +10 + City long spear handle (Technique crank) + succesive attacks amulet + puppet/human/carcass talisman or LEAPING AMULET / PATIENCE AMULET. You can also buff it with elements. You net around 250-300 damage with huge range and speed. You can kill stuff quickly, even bosses without taking any damage and you have alot of time to run away since the range its so big.
Bone cutting saw blade with dancer handle is amazing. Lots of damage with a quicker move set than the full saw. Technique scaling that can be pushed to A scaling with a crank. That's what I love about the weapon crafting, any blade can be a dex or strength blade.
I been using the saw blade with the police baton handle u can buff if for double damage on one attack 4x so stagger them then buff it and use ur fatal then buff again and get a free charge heavy and it does disgusting damage on top of it having great speed and great block damage reduction
I love the proof of humanity, on ng+ and just wrecking enemies with it. I beat the game with the katana and the dagger that criticals like crazy, both solid technique weapons.
I tried this combo and the dancer handle. I like the art of the bramble better but I hate how long it takes to charge the heavy attack. If it wasn’t for the long charge on heavy I’d definitely use it instead
The Bramble Sword handle with Bonecutting Saw Blade with a motivity crank is insane. The handles fable art with that long blade does a pile of dmg and stagger and the charged heavy does a jump to close distance, with the long blade you get great range.

I think the Blind Man’s Double-Sided Spear handlr is interesting as the Heavy attacks can block and even perfect guard if you time the attacks right. Its a bit tricky to pull off but since its also an attack i can understand the timing being different
I just hate how long the charge attack takes. But it does cover a lot of ground. It’s just hard to get the charge attack off when it’s time to stun a mini boss or boss enemy, so I switched to the dancer handle
I beat the first 3 chapters with original greatsword of fate, no ugrades. Once i found big pipe wrench, in beginning of chapter 4, i used that to clear the game untill collapsing street in chapter 9. Upgraded it to +9, also original version. Now i'm using sawblade +9 with exploding pickaxe handle.

Sleeper weapon - Puppet Axe Blade & Master Chef Knife handle!!! The L1 fable is INCREDIBLE i literally killed Simon Manus first phase by buffing with acid abraisive then using 4 fable bars with the L1 fable art and he was dead in literally under 10 seconds. This is a MUST TRY combo!!! Insane high damage and OP fable arts what more can u ask for?? Oh and the moveset is not bad either, alot faster than most other greatsword options, the charged attack hits 3x!
Y'all, all you need is a big bonk blade (i recommend the big saw blade) and the starting great sword handle. Get your extra fable slots, perfect guards all day. Also recommend upgrading the puppet string to its max. Easy mode unlocked.
personally ive got the shock mace and the boost glave handle, super fun to boost in with electricty damage. this with the shield is my personal favorite
They to add a stagger bar to enemies so we know when we can charge attack into fatal. This is a core mechanic so playstyle and gameplay will change based on how low or high the stagger bar is.
You motivity playing guys should really try the Live Puppet Axe Blade (chp8)!!! If you combine it with the batton head handle you get the hardest hitting weapon in the game, and if you combine it with the puppet’s Saber handle you get one of the strongest weapons with great range. It's only downside is it's fable art, but it's so forgiveable when you deal 500+dmg every regular hit consistently, have insane stagger and the attack speed is the best of any heavy hitting blade. I've tested every slash hard hitting blade combined with every one hand handles and for me those are the best handles, and this is the best blade, either this or the wrench which has round 40 less dmg at max level, but a very good fable art.
I think I noticed which I'll bring to attention is that tyrants murderers dagger and pistol rock drill have a sweet spot mechanic that deals extra damage and stagger. If you see a shockwave appear when you hit the enemy that means you hit the sweet spot (These are the only two weapons that I noticed that have this mechanic)
My personal favorite is the shock mace head with the salamander dagger handle for a quick moveset. But at the same time the rapier blade with dagger handle is also really good
Sort of, but you can only move them up 1 letter grade. So say it scales C motivity and C technique, you can take it to B on either one but it'll drop the other stat to D. That's why A scaling weapons are so good, you can take them to S rank
Legit don’t get why anyone plays anything other than advance builds. Fire, elec and acid is the way to go. Damage is far superior. Technique and Motivity ain’t sh*t.

It buffs the most op thing in the game - elemental throwables - and don’t forget the electric arm and flame arm is one of the strongest of legion arms for cost:dmg ratio - which all scales with?? Advance. Even with all grindstone upgrades, you’re looking at 1 min per use. So… I mean it’s a nice alternative. But please don’t act like you know anything. Because your comment was cringe. Look at all the current top speedruns - they switch the moment they pick up the 3 elemental weapons. And what build do they go? advance consumable builds. ‘Least useful stat’ my ass. Go back to playing tetris if you can’t do maths.

Really need to be honest, as much as I'm enjoying the game, I think the weapon variety for strenght characters is very lacking. Almost every handle that has good strenght scaling has just some kind of heavy over the shoulder moveset. Everything else you get as a dex char (including heavy over the shoulder movesets).
Every time i try a new weapon i just end up going back to my salamander handle and the greatsword you find early on. Forgot the name. Looks like one from elden ring. Edit: greatsword of fate blade. That + salamander handle, 🤌. Poky poky stab and bounce out. Dodge + reg attack gives you a sweep. Its a big size dagger with half sword movesets that can keep space in between you and ennemies. In between a full on spear and a dagger.

The major down side to the charge attk is to get the stun on a enemy u have to land the second hit which gets canceled alot by bosses

That combi carried me to chapter 8 paired with a fully upgrade puppet string you can stagger enemies fast

For majority of my second playthrough I used the mjolnir hammer head with policeman baton handle and I loved it
Exploding pickaxe handle is the best in it's category, just put a blade of choice and it's amazing
The weapon I use is the Bone-Cutting Sawblade+10 with Bramble Curved Sword Handle. It's the most poweful combo with 304 physical damage.

Ive been using the 7 coil spring sword since the black rabbit brotherhood fight. That sword is a beast
corrosive greatsword with dancer handle has been my bread and butter since i got it. before that was the salamander dagger with tyrant handle
