There's something poetic about P360's introductions, it's almost like attending a seminar hosted by a skilled speaker. How do I donate a finger-on-a-stick pointer tool to the cause? :) I think implementing iNav into my fleet has been as much fun as flying them. Over the last year, I've had a blast taking old foamies and converting them to Elon Musk levels of autonomy and performance, all thanks to cheap FC's and awesome developers like Pawel. Of, and the smooth baritone instruction from Sensei 360.
I was unaware of the programmable pod aspect. I think this would be perfect for smacking a servo on that keeps a linear antenna always vertical so you can utilize it’s longer range without losing signal. Seems like it would be a lot of fun to play around with.

I have faithfully watch both the your channel for over 2 years and although you guys are beyond my scope I loveYou're reviews and I learned a little bit out of Each one I only wish you can update some of your beginner videos for the new guys but I know this channel Is for the Advance crowd.

Hi Mr. P Great video on INAV 3.0 I have been waiting for INAV to update. I just made a mistake and I purchased two Matek H743 wing and mini by mistake and I have not been able to use it yet because it will not work with my flight controller and INAV. So I guess I just need to look at the wiki. Thanks again for the information and video and thanks Pawel.
Will the new tuning still have the option to set the angular rotation rate? It seemed like they were letting it set itself. I quite enjoy that programming ability!
I've been flying quads with Betaflight for a while, but this interview has inspired me to give iNav a try. Do you have a Betaflight vs iNav video, or should I try your 'iNav for Beginners 2020' series?

Why? just use two flight controllers, one for vertical hover, and one for level flight. Arm, and disarm each when needed, and when not needed. Transition is the problem, but it could be worked out. Already figured in my head LOL

I tried inav 3.0 on my Arwing Pro and autotune pid FF went to the roof. Massive horizon drift, RTH will constantly loose altitude. Inav 3.01 have similar issues with autotune. I am back to Inav 2.6 and after two flights I managed to autotune and rth without horizon drift. There is a poll on the facebook inav fixed wing group and over 30% of votes goes for 2.6 which indicates several pilots are facing issues with 3.0 and 3.0.1.
I've heard varying stories and the experience here had been good with 3.0 on the models I've setup - so far. I suspect that some of the issues that pilots are experiencing are coming from the lack of clarity about how to setup some of the new features. I hope the manual for the new stuff will be updated soon and that all of these issues are being reported via the wiki so the developers can see them. Happy flying!
The issues with autotune going to the roof has been confirmed and developers are trying to fix it. Autotrim is also causing some issues with experience pilots stalling when landing. Hopefully this is just a small bump and soon we will have a more stable inav version.

Excited to play with mavlink over crossfire and bluetooth to a GS. I had some odd bugs with ardupilot but it worked pretty well.

Yes, D term back in the FW controller! Now we need a good pseudo-airspeed and a way to scale control surface movements by the right power.
The continuous automatic servo trim you requested is also implemented in 3.0.

Excellent ! Pls try to support F3 flight controllers, most people have many many of them.
It looks like if you are still flying F3 then INAV 2.6 will be the last version you can use. Happy flying!
@@Painless360 Not exactly flying only on F3 flight controllers but I have many F3 but have F4 and others too.
INAV have been warning pilots of this since INAV 2.5 way back in May 2020. You can still run INAV on F3, just not the latest versions. Happy flying!
